It is the biggest game of the season for Spurs and for once, Spurs seem to be going into the game with less of an injury crisis than Arsenal. We preview whether or not it is a must win fixture and how Ange Postecoglous men can put a huge dent in Arsenals title hopes.

I've supported Spurs for 30+ years and I really appreciate your Pod. Way too much negativity surrounding our club online. Some are maybe too young to remember the dark times in our past. I love this club and part of being a real supporter, is the ups and downs which brings a rollercoaster of emotions. Yes it's difficult at times and it's the hope that kills us, but when glory finally comes our way, then It will feel double sweet💯 Enjoy the wins and good performances but don't get too low when it's not so great. There is clear evidence to be positive about this fantastic group of players. COYS!!

Guys, David Pleat is 79 years old... Now I'm no spring chicken, but at that age I'll be happily strolling along the beach listening to Oh So Spurs podcasts. We all have to move on eventually. and if his wife has MND (an awful disease) perhaps he should be spending more time at home - but then, maybe she'd prefer him out of the house...
You'd think he'd be ready for some relaxing time on the golf course and a new Labrador 😅
I'm a half glass full guy but I'm concerned about having Solanke and VDV out. Think it's a huge miss. I think they will sit back and play the ball out to Saka. I believe a fully fit Udogie can comfortably deal with him but looks like he's not fully fit yet. Heart says 2-2, but head says 1-2. Biss potentially being out has a larger impact than what people may realise, he's in good form.
Now with Bentancur, I feel sorry for Son. Son is forced to extend the olive branch, because if he declines, he is seen as the snowflake. But what if he actually wasn't ok with apology? Son represents South Koreans as well. I feel like it's a lose/lose and I rarely disagree with Ange, but on this I did. It shouldn't be up to Son to decide the Club punishment, the Club should take leadership and show the initiative. My question is, why did the FA take so long to come up with a show cause?
Agreed, we are as weakened as Arsenal if those 3 are unavailable. Many question marks until we see the line up on Sunday.

Yes, it's probably casual racism, not explicit racism. For a player to receive any more than a one match ban, is ridiculous for this type of ignorant talk. Education is more effective and purposeful.
It's important to understand casual racism doesn't have intent.

They use the data model to find a list of players with attributes they are looking for and then send scouts to watch them .

Although Bentacur’s insult came from a place of ignorance it didn’t disguise itself whereas the way Spurs fans call Son “Sonny” often feels infused with condescension. Perhaps when he was a much younger man it was endearing but he’s an older statesman and your captain! Just suggesting that calling out ‘racism’ and not acknowledging intent will harness crude inhibition instead of discernment.
About Bentancur's comments, 6 games is incredibly harsh. Intention means a lot. He meant to joke, and actually be friendly to Son. Of course he shouldn't say it on TV, but he's human, and hes not perfect with his judgement about which jokes are internal vs public. Race jokes CAN be funny and should be used in private. Banter about it is healthy as long as everyone is giving as good as they get
RB’s comment was fundamentally ignorant and it was a racist statement and not a joke about race. That doesn’t mean he’s racist but the statement was. Aside from the fact that it demonstrably not true. No one person of a race looks like all the others. If it was meant as a joke it’s lazy at best.
There is no room for racist jokes, footballs racism history is well documented. He was looking at 12 games so exactly what’s the problem.
