    I have been with you since day one on this project. You have never lost your temper ever. And have been so methodical. I am rooting for you to have the least bit of problems on completion. How you found one with no rust is a miracle especially living in the east.

    Impressed Bryan for real. Beautiful work. I may have missed it but what is your background? Really beautiful. Better than new in 1973 I can attest to that. Quality Control was not a priority in 1973.

    Awesome work Ryan. Can’t wait to see that engine on the Dyno. Great job on the dash. Glad to see you kept the factory dash pad. The reproduction dash pad from OER is junk. I here NPD has a repop dash pad now too, think I am going to try that when i finally get around to getting mine repainted. Wish I had kept my factory dash. When you replaced the shifter boot. Did you keep or replaces the heavy rubber seal under the carpet? I didn’t see it in the video. It helps keel engine fumes and water out of the car, it also dampens the vibration on the shifter handle. Also glad to see you replaced the blow out clips I mentioned. Wish I was making as much progress on mine as you have made on yours.

    • @RyanSampsonRPh
      @RyanSampsonRPh  3 года назад +1

      Thanks Shad! You will have to let me know how that NPD one looks. I cleaned up that thick piece of rubber and kept it under the boot. I actually forgot about it the first time and had to take everything out again to put it in so maybe this was when I didn’t realize it was missing yet 😬

    Hey Ryan, bro, I haven't told you yet that you got so lucky finding such a cherry Camaro !! After you get done with it, it's gonna be better than when it rolled off the assembly line. I know you gonna let me drive...... Lol, just kidding, I'd have a better chance of winning the Power Ball. Can't say I'd blame you though. Now when you let someone ride with you, make them take off their shoes and wash their hands before entering. And no eating or drinking, definitely no smoking. Keeping it real for the old classics. Love it bro. So very close, yet so far away. I'm counting down with you bro.

    Ryan is that the stock steering wheel ? my 70 had the thinner plastic one, that almost looks like what they put in newer Cameros or Vegas's then again I guess it could be stock yours is 3 years newer

  • @Chicago_Cars
    @Chicago_Cars 3 года назад

    Great channel and video! May want to get a new wheel on order anyways, though. The wheel is breaking down, so no matter how well you prep for paint, that goo will still come out and then get between the wheel and paint. Couple months you’re likely going to have the paint flaking off because of that.
