Before we hit the road, I want to tell each and everyone of you watching all the videos from all the different channels associated with our family, THANK YOU!
Got your back jack! if you post them, we will watch! Tbh, you and your family are one of very few on the net who make videos that are actually relatable to us normies. So thank you for stayin true to yourselves and thanks for the great entertainment.
Tanner should hang out with Uncle Bucko a lot more cuz Uncle Bucko knows his shit. Tanner's fuel line was SUS!!😂😂 I love this channel! God bless guys.👍
When you have Chumpy's motor don't forget to consider getting some offset dowel pins for the back of the motor to help with the bellhousing/transmission misalignment issues you are having, which is causing the clutch pedal to stick to the floor when you are in "GET AFTER IT MODE"
I was shocked by the condition of your Nova once House of Pearls got it disassembled. Good thing you had the mind to get it restored now and not several years later 👍🏻👍🏻
I'm not shitting on Steve but it's got to the point now that if you just show up you've got a job in the trades. Tanner is obviously a good hand and is learning a lot, on camera, daily. I can't describe adequately to young guys how easy going the shop is for new guys these days and how long they get their hands held to learn things my 2nd grade daughter picks up the first time she sees it watching dad on the weekends. And they still quit before their 90 days is up. I'm glad tanner has a sense of humor about these videos and keeps pushing on because very very few young guys do these days.
@11:57,, as soon as Mark heard this,, taking bets he's thinking,, "Man O Man,, I'm wishing I had NEVER started down this road of racing Uncle Bucko! The 'ol 55 was doing fine,, taking it to a show 'n shine a couple times a year and leaving it sit the rest of the time. NOW I'm headed down this road of EXTREMELY DIMINISHED RETURN,, burying THOUSANDS upon THOUSANDS of dollars into this 'ol beauty that I'm NEVER going to get back."
Bill you trying to fly the drone was absolutely priceless. I have a suspicion that Mark’s motor was well in its way out before it was ever touched. Thanks for another hilarious video and good luck this weekend
It's amazing how good the old man took to making great videos... it's like he's been doing it most of his life... I'm close to his age ( 9 years senior) and like him I'm not to electronically incline and there's no way i could do what he does with making these great videos ....his channel has become my favorite of any other channel to watch...
Nice to see I’m not the only one having a rough week. This video had me in tears laughing. Can’t decide who was better you trying to fly FPOV or Jimmy Dale and the 5 “you daddy”. Thank you for the great content, 2 videos in less than 5 days & some much needed laughter!! You and your family have a way of keeping motivated.
Hey, I'm a viewer from Michigan, I've had a 1966 Fairlane that is a basket case and has been for over 30 years I've owned it. But watching your videos has given me inspiration to continue to struggle through with working on it. Some days it's a real struggle when new parts just dont fit. I've closed the garage door many times and just let it sit because of the issues. Thanks for the laughs and inspiration, I needed it.
Where at in Michigan? I'm in Dearborn area and older I get the more I look for new friends who are interested in sharing wrenching duties together on occasion! Used to do such things once or twice a week but that was 20+ years ago. At 55 seems nobody wants to play with their cars anymore like we used to. Everybody is busy with their family stuff and if they even still have a hot rod, muscle car or street strip ride then it's already "done" and they will pay someone to wrench it for them nowdays. Still not my style if for no other reason is my wallet cannot afford to pay someone to do things I used to do or still capable of doing. Maybe I'm getting a little too deep here just trying to make some new car friends. Even if they own a Ford LoL, big joke because I am a GM guy but live in Dearborn and love all makes and models.
I've got a basket case 1970 Olds 442 that's been in "paint jail" for over 20 years now. Have a 620hp 462in pure olds engine on the dolly ready to go. It's bodywork that's kept us down. Curious what you got going on with the Fairlane.
I actually laughed out loud in my office this morning watching this while getting my thoughts together before starting the grind for today so thankfully now im in a better mood! Thanks!
You darn Skippy I watched bucko, mark, tommy, and Billy earlier then I see the old man's garage had to watch it. I'm not very smart phone savy, will someone tell me how to get to the merc site
Great video, I almost spit out my sandwich when you were trying to fly the drone with the goggles.....Then your brother said you can't fly even when you can see it with your eyes, so there is no way you could use the goggle set up......LOL
Why do these videos always feel like they are 5-6 minutes long??? This is the only channel I’ve ever watched out of thousands over the years that I’d swear is only a 5-6 minute video yet the time stamp says 26 minutes?? Chumpy, I m so glad you have representation on speed dial brother!!! Trust no One Mark, trust absolutely no one , especially when You Daddies are involved!!!
This whole Bucko-Chumpy thing is nothing but pure comedy! With Bucko and Jimmy Dale in this and it seems Mark gets to play the straight man here....its just great. Bill, I agree with you on that drone. There would be no way I could put that thing over my eyes and fly it either. I guess that shows my age. Only 6 years older then you.
Haitian's Ohio. I have been trying to tell you what's happened over the past 4 years for months in the comments & for months what's going to happen but most people want to be like Ostriches when it's bad they can't deal with it. HOLY SH*T! A-1 Mark and the three way call about the punk out money bets with Jimmy Dale, HILARIOUS 😂 😆. Priceless classic comedy. I love 💕 the diverse entertaining cast of the "Old Man Show". Prime time entertainment on RUclips, two thumbs 👍 👍 way up for the rating on this channel! Great video 📸. Thanks.
We have had one atm 750. Had nothing but problems with it blowing black smoke at idle. It was very rich. Changed air bleeds no change. Drilled throttle blades no change. I ended up drilling and tapping the idle circuit on the metering block to put in resistors. It immediately worked great after. They have a very nice feel to them.
I'm with you on the fpv drone crap as well as carb. vs fuel infection ! To hell with all this new fangled shit !! And Mark should just buy a FORD and be done with it. 😂
The old man's garage ⚡ lots of things to keep you busy and giving you headaches 😢 haha 😆 no problems making content! haha 😆 love it keep it coming Bill✨
At the end of the vid Bill, there are so many lakes everywhere in the midwest, but Buckeye lake reminds me of Belleville lake here west of Detroit. The lakes look similar in size from maps and both have recreational as well as residential. Now i don't know this but reason looking up Buckeye lake is that i kinda figured fishing sucks there. The reviews kinda read the same. Once i figured out that kind of lake don't lend to fishing very well didn't mean i didn't figure out how to have fun... This was about 20 years ago, i traded a clean marina blue 1973 Nova "ss" (aren't they all now?) for a clapped out but floating and running 1973 jet boat with a Berkeley jet and an Olds 455. Since im an Olds guy my whole life this was an easy trade as i could not sell the Nova for the life of me at the time. Turns out it had a 305 so that made problems worse. It was from kentucky and a bench seat column shift car which didnt help. Being the wrong year Nova just threw everybody off. Looking back if i still had that car id probably have a reasonably quick street strip car on a very low budget...but thats what us older guys do is "look back" and sometimes wish we hadn't. The jet boat ran great, it went 68 with the stock-ish 455 in it but i had a plan. I installed the moroso flat bottom trap door fancy pants marine oil pan and threw in a trw piston 9.5:1 stock-ish 455 but with a lumpy custom ground flat tapppet hydraulic and a holley single plane intake and box stock Edelbrock aluminum heads. The engine had already went consistent 11.80s in my 3800 pound 442 and was perfect for the boat. With the over the transom chrome Bassett wet headers and silencers taken out it sounded like a funny car when no wake idling under the bridge at Belleville road. The fishermen hated me on the bank, they just shook their heads as i idled by shaking the bridge. Met a dude out there who lived on the lake. He had a similar hulled classic jet boat with a Berkeley, but he ran an efi 502 bbc crate motor. He had 4 lightweight drag seats in the boat and no floor boards. This guy was just wanting to play. We ended up racing and he couldnt believe my lowly Olds held its own just one length back from the leave. We ran them out to 85.5mph on GPS. It was his gauge equipment not mine. He said it takes an honest 500hp to the jet, which made sense. His quicker leave was from a drooped snout output jet housing which dug down deep and got the boat out of the water quicker but also knocked off about 2-4 mph up top. Either way we both hung out and learned some things from each other and eneded up having a great boating experience that summer. Hanging out at the sandbar was always cool, especially pulling up idling like a top fueler. Problem with sandbars is always wear something on your feet because stepping on broken beer bottles sucks bad out in the lake. Ok so eventually i sold the jet boat to a good friend, also an Oldsmobile lover. He spent 5 years restoring the boat and painting it like i wanted to begin, sort of like a red white and blue waving flag. He named it Olds Glory (in honor of Old Glory). He threw a more mild 455 in it and still ran 68 across his lake. I reluctantly sold him an old polished Offy tunnel ram for olds along with dual center squirter 660 carbs. He struggled to get it all to run but evntually ran just right. Not long after that, maybe a month, his entire 50x50 shop burned down. He lost several muscle cars, many old car projects, mopars included, as well as old Chevrolet, Ford and international pickup trucks from the 50s. The boat melted down. Even the tunnel ram intake melted down and drooped to one side. Ugh. Thankfully insurance replaced his entire shop and he has been actually working out of said shop for a living now and doing quite well. Him nor me either one has wanted another 1973 olds powered jet boat since then however

Watching Bill trying to fly that drone and hearing Jimmy Dale on the phone made my day. Love this Channel. Fantastic content.
You better know it’s great stuff!!
I think jimmy dale needs to come up and quarter back this situation in person lol
Tanner should hang out with Uncle Bucko a lot more cuz Uncle Bucko knows his shit. Tanner's fuel line was SUS!!😂😂 I love this channel! God bless guys.👍
Smokey and the Bandit reference got me😂.... I love that ole movie. Sally Fields was so beautiful.
The drone part of this episode was so hilarious, poor Bill with the goggles on.😂
The goggles was my favorite part this episode because that would be me, ready to trade them sell or giveaway. Thanks Bill
The race between Chumpy and Bucko has got me more stoked than any other race in a long time lol
The FPV and Bill was a hoot, I feel exactly the same way.

You trying to fly the drone had me in stitches Bill. I felt ur frustration. Love the content.
