Jason don't take this the wrong way but I watch your videos to fall asleep. I have very bad insomnia but with your calming voice i am able to watch your videos and i almost fall asleep with the first 10 mins. After I wake up then I watch the video in full and see what i missed. You should do more mountain videos. Anyway great job with your videos. You are a wonderful painter just like Bob Ross. Keep up the great work!
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Autonomous_sensory_meridian_response theres some info for you. it covers several responses, including the fact that the sound of painting/soft speaking, such as jason does in his videos can be very relaxing. :D enjoy! if you have any questions, just hit me up here. ill do what i can to clarify
@JP I also fall asleep from Jason's calming soothing voice and have to watch them a second time to view the entire video something about the way you pain Jason, combined with your voice causes me to drift off to sleep very easily. You are NOT boring I must stress but just a calming affect
Not only your NATURE painting, your voice also ditto replica of my favorite Artist Bob Ross! I am very happy to see Bob Ross again here painting the mountains in beautiful Black & White! Wonderful!
this is the very first painting i tried to do, 6 years later. This was before bob ross videos were even on youtube. Thanks so much for starting my art journey
I thought I was the only one who found his voice so calming! We're all over here talking about his voice instead of his art haha Your art is just as amazing!
Wow! Love how this turned out. Snowy night time mountain paintings have me completely captivated lately. So beautiful! I hope to create a painting of my own soon.
This video is a couple years old but I love your moonlight mountain and the very detail you put into it. I watched bob Ross video on something like this and I love the blues, whites and blacks this video, makes it look like you pulled the moonlight out of the canvas, if that makes any sense. I just love your work and I'm going to keep watching your videos. Thank you Jason ~ Jenny.
Hi Jason, I'm just looking back through paintings I've done from tutorials and this is one of my favorites! You explained what you did so well that my painting was nearly as good as yours. Always a pleasure to watch you paint and teach!
I'm an artist too, and I find your paintings to be so real and breathtaking, I have been painting for about 6 years and I still have hard time painting landscapes.
This one is my favorite so far. I love the serenity. Very nice. I've always loved the look of moonlight reflecting on snow. Looks like a carpet of diamonds. :)
GENIAL..VIDEO..INCREÍBLE REALEZA..EMBELEZADA A PESAR QUE NO ENTIENDO EL IDIOMA..LOS..PASES.EN QUE TOMA.Y HACE ..SE ENTIENDE ..EL TRABAJO..ES UN GENIO LO ADMIRO ..Y LO SIGO SIEMPRE..FELICITACIONES..Y GRACIAS..POR COMPARTIR..¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡👋👋💯👍👍👏👏👏👏👏
Epic painting, mate. I've just watched the acrylic version which you did after this one and could see you were struggling with it a bit, but yeah, after watching this one, it's clear to see you're boss with oils! Jut to add, I hate being cold, but love paintings of cold settings, and damn this is a *cold* painting, dude! Good stuff.
Was looking for Bob Ross and came across you. I enjoyed the video very much and thought this painting was pretty awesome. I Definitely subscribed and will be watching your posts.
Beautiful painting I find it easier for me to use a fan brush and then the white a little bit then pull back the brush long ways with my finger to kind of splatter the white in the places I want the stars or spray even for waves.....love watching you paint!
Merci
I had so much fun painting this Jason! I had a fair amount of trouble with the palette knive (need more practice), but overall I was very happy with my painting. Thanks for the Demo!
Great pic just like Bob Ross I've started my collection of paints and brushes and stuff just waiting for my black jesso hopefully I can try doing this I went to rehab for alcohol and been clean nearly a year now I needed a new hobby so I've stated painting

I love watching your videos n they have actually helped me a lot in knowing the different ways to paint...n by watching these videos i have gained an interest in art..keep posting more new videos..i love them..!! N by the way which paints do you use? Acrylic?
I am a acrylic painter myself, this type of scene how long would you leave a satin black background before would start the painting? I don't have what you would say a sealant for my acrylic paints...
amazing work for the stars I would have put liquid white or thinned down titanium white on a fan brush and put my fingers through the bristles and sprayed the white around the sky
Yo man, well done, could you do a video with this type of landscape, but with a limited moon and a visible milky way? I wanna get the Milky Way down properly. Thanks bud.
Can you use these techniques if you are using acrylic paints? I know that it might sound like a dumb question, but I am trying to teach myself how to paint mountains and I am not being successful. Please help! Thanks

I am going to attempt this one today. I am just a rookie. lol . You just make it look so easy though. Cheers!
Very nice. Your videos are helpful thank you .
Those sirens... They must be after you, Jason!
Using the darker blue/white combo for shadow really added to the painting, vs just black.
Please make clear whether this scene was all acrylic, or oil-and only the black gesso base acrylic.?
you are doing very nicely here Jason
really enjoyed this video, cant wait to give it a go:)
Hi jason
The painting is excellent. Can you please let me do you mix water to dilute

Can you use these techniques if you are using acrylic paints? I know that it might sound like a dumb question, but I am trying to teach myself how to paint mountains and I am not being successful. Please help! Thanks
jason, can i use a painting medium instead of the liquid clear over the gesso?
It takes perfection to create perfection! ;)
Hey pal! Nice job with this one as a well! :) oh, i've been intrigued by this dull question of mine, if you dont mind...ha, where are you from Jason?
WOW ... are you an genius ?
Nice work
i dnt know...which colour on the canvas..black gesso..or purssian blue...
I am going to try paint this one .
Are you always only using acrylics?
Angele Furet did you ever learn if this piece was all acrylic, or was the black gesso the only acrylic and all the rest oils.
WOW!! How clever is this??
will this technique work with acrylic?
can we use black paint insead of gesso ?
Meanwhile, a riot is in full swing outside Jason's House lol
Amazing!

Can I paint this same mountainscape with acrylic paint? I'm new to painting ;-)
