This one has to be my favorite so far, beautiful! I LOVE watching you "create" the mountains little by little :-) Thank you so much for sharing your talent and time with us.
I love Jason Bowen very much, he does all kinds of painting and they are all wonderful. Thank you Jason.
Great job! Always liked you painting. I'm going to buy the Bob Ross master set and give it a go!
I love your technique for doing the mountains. Stunning. You make it look so easy, but I know better. :)

Looks awesome. Definitely time to get back to painting
You have a dreamy voice and I love your painting. Subscribed!!
I just saw this and I love the simplicity in colors you use. It’s gorgeous. You have quite a calming imagination and it’s such a blessing to watch so thank you for sharing. I totally agree using what Bob Ross did makes it easier. I was trying to follow his video one day and when it came time to make reflections in the water, I made a big ugly dark streak and gave up. Now I’ll be using oils when following his videos, when I get around to it.
I'm just beginning the Bob Ross technique and discovered your videos yesterday. Great fun to watch your videos!
Thanks Jason for uploading this! I like the wet on wet paintings more than the drawings.
Don't worry the paints are back! :)
I'm so amazed. I don't even know what to write. I need to start taking art classes to be able to come up with words to describe some of the arts I see on youtube.
Thank you so much for your videos... It's hard to find a great teacher nowadays,, but we found you :D
Keep on.. We need you
Nice job, good to see ya come back to your roots. I'll have a crac at this myself. Look forward to your next effort, good luck with your studies.
I can only paint mask but I love watching others paint. Bob Ross influenced my life and you do his memory proud.
Love your videos. You have inspired me to paint again. It's been a while and missed it so much. Thank you for sharing your passion.
Well done, man. Really enjoyed this method.
Im glad you did this one, I thought about doing the black canvas like this but was too big a wuss to try. not so scared anymore.. THANKS MAN!!!
Awesome paintings
This looks very good, I am going to try and copy you.
Marvellous job..sir..
I LOVE your videos. This one had a bad glare on it though. I probably am the only one who saw it. I have this OCD issue when it comes to glares and brush strokes. I'm hopeless lol. Your videos help me out a lot!
so beautiful and relaxing.
I did enjoy this episode ,thanks
This is amazing, love it.
Your beautiful hair has reached critical mass. Great painting!
haha thanks :)
You take your time more than Bob Ross :)
Although some how he was a machine and seemed to rush his pictures, yet they still looked amazing.
Beautiful
Thank you for making these videos. :)
fantastic videos, complemented with truly beautiful painting, was just wondering Jason if you have ever painted a night time cityscape, like a Manhattan skyline with all neon lights and lit up skyscrapers.
amazing!
You should title these as ASMRs, theyre very relaxing videos, and I think people in the ASMR community would enjoy them.
What means ASMR?
beautiful! Thank you.
Спасибо!
This absolut cool :-)
so I had a question about the paints you are using. I have seen you use a lot of Bob ross materials. I was wondering for a first time painter what is the best to start out with as far as paints an brushes. I want to buy stuff to begin painting but don't know what I should start out with. should I just buy the Bob ross materials or save money an go a different route an get Winsor paints an so on. I want to do paintings like your mountains an other paintings like these landscapes an so on. thanks for all the help an information. keep the wonderful paintings coming.
+Devin Alles (Shadoww) Well at the moment I use Winsor and Newton Artisan oils because they are water mixable and you don't need any solvents. But those paints are soft and you would have to paint in a slightly different manner to the Bob Ross style paintings. Hope that helps.
+Jason Bowen so what would you suggest for someone that is a beginner just getting into oil painting for the first time. I know the materials are a bit overpriced cause they are name brand. I just want to know what you suggest a beginner to get for Starting out
+Devin Alles (Shadoww) Not an easy question as there are so many options out there for an artist. I personally have tried a few brands and non brands and for me Winsor and Newton are very good and I enjoy the artisan oils very much. The Bob Ross art supplies are perfect for the Bob Ross system of painting.
If I was first starting out I would just buy a few colours and have a go and see what I like or dislike about the paints. Sorry its not the best answer.
your paintings are awesome has anyone ever paid you to make them a piece?
Good to see you back to the old painting style! Kinda miss the old format though where you frame the camera so we can see you paint and talk. Being able to see your technique!
Do you need to use the medium liquor ?
I like this one. Put can I use the old way to paint a mountain with knife? ?
I waiting your answer. .
Thanks
Of course this is just another way to paint a mountain :) You know what they say there's more than one way to skin a cat.
Thank for your unsure. .
I learned so much from u...
Did you use a dry canvas or did you put medium on it first?
Just wondering, do you sell your paintings?
What can you tell me about the lower quality sound? Have you noticed it yet?
Did you say "Ivory Black"? Or did you mean "Midnight Black"? Or is there a difference and would any black do?
+joshjhutton Ivory black is darker. Midnight black is sort of purple. :)
the title is fine mr pickles
Do you have an acrylic version of this painting?
oh THE SOUND IS FINE I THOUGHT .. YOU TUBE BEEN HAVEING SOME PROBS
Come to think of it, I don't think Bob Ross ever painted stars....
You do a wonderful job however a lot of the ways your doing the paint would be easier doing it William Alexanders way
