I've just fixed my washing machine thanks to this video, I would never of had the confidence to take it apart before but you made it look easy and it was! Thank you.
Hi Barry, it's great to hear that our vide gave you the confidence to fix your washing machine yourself! Well done for fixing it, and hopefully it continues to work well.
Good video. I have a Beko, 2 years old and the problem is that the water is going into the fabric conditioner compartment straight away. The drawer is as clean as a whistle, I'm stumped.
What a fantastic Video! I would NEVER in my life think to even attempt to take apart anything electrical, (Yet alone a washing machine),however, having watched your video (to see hot to clean the soap dispenser compartment), I surprisingly want to dismantle the top and change the drawer top and feel confident to do so...Clearly explained even a DIY idiot like me can understand it...Thank you! :)
Hi, How do I take the dispenser drawer out? You did it really easy on the video! I try it and one side seems to go out, but not the other side. It's an indesit washing machine IWC 61051 model. Thanks
Hi Sandra, sorry it is not very clear when Mat takes it out, how to pull it out is in the user manual page 16 care and maintenance but just pull it towards you raising it underneath and it should come out.
MrStreetboy80 Go easy with the jet wash as it may be a bit powerful just to clean the dispenser. I will add links to another video showing the best way to keep your machine clean and free from mould, bacteria and limescale that can be viewed from this link: ruclips.net/video/ifWK9df1qgg/видео.html
I've been using an Indesit washing machine, and I moved into this place and the washing machine was very dirty by old tenants. Few weeks ago small dirt stains starting appearing, then I cleaned tray, and the rubber inside as it was black and after cleaning it all it got dramatically worse. These brown bits would appear, they would stain, but they mostly were solid until I touch them and broke apart like dirt, and other gunk appeared like a tiny piece of onion skin. I use powder detergent, and ever since cleaning it, and using conditioner liquid it got worse. I can't even clean my clothes now, I have 0 idea what causing it, if there gunk or mold in tube or mechanics in the machine or drain or pump. Any recommendation, it was 3 years ago the last comment so it fine if no reply?
Your videos are very helpful and very well done. one question though, my washing machines soap dispenser doesnt seem to be having any water reaching it. i removed the soap box and there is water being pouredd but not through the holes. any help would be appreciated.
thanks very much for your reply, my son got it off and the panel at the back had come off, so he put it back on god nos how that came off!, thanks for taking the time to reply xx

Hi Thanks for the video I am facing a bit of annoying problem with the detergent dispenser Its always open and close which makes a bit of noise Initially I suspect on the solenoid valves, but before I go and look for replacement I am thinking it might be a programming issue, or its the way it works Pls help I can share you 5 seconds video to see it clearly Thanks
I have hoover dyn8144 d1x (3 1/2 yrs old), could you, if you can, tell me what would cause water to leak through the holes in the lid of the soap dispenser housing. Ive removed it, cleaned it thoroughly overnight in bleach no mould or anything. Is it worth replacing the whole housing?
Hi Kenneth, you have done the right thing by cleaning the dispenser but if the holes are completely blocked or the dispenser is cracked it would have to be replaced.
Thanks for your video, eSpares. Please, help. I don't know which tools to buy (screwdrivers) to use for my indesit machine. What exactly should I look for when shopping? Thanks! Anyone that has an answer too, please, help!
Hello I have a general electric front load that is not dispense the softener and the bleach I have tried to work with service mode but the softener still in the dispenser the detergent looks like is working ok but softener is not ..can you tell me if I need to check something else or do I need to replace the whole detergent dispenser? maybe the solenoids? thanks
Check if on the final rinse the machine is filling both the wash and pre wash compartments. If it is then the valves are OK and the dispenser top will need replacing as it will be blocked by mould (a common problem hence the video).
Had an issue of conditioner not emptying and a moldy cover, the mold was easily washed with chlorine the fault was in the valve. Secondary valve would only trickle water while activated. Testing the valves, especially those which use mains power, can be a bit tricky/hazardous if you do not know what you are doing.

GE PROFILE TOP LOAD 2007. Help. Loose change has fallen down into bleach dispensing housing unit. I never use it. Will it hurt to continue using washer in the future with change in there?
Hi Clt_jojo, we have to ask how did loose change drop into the housing? we don't have much information about top loaders but it would be much safer to retrieve the change.
Change dropped into the opening where bleach is poured into. Therefore going down into dispenser housing unit? That’s why I wanted to know if change would continue to go further into the barrel. Don’t know how big the housing unit hose is?
When I put a pair of pants in washer change fell out of the pants into the bleach dispenser opening therefore dropping down into top load washer housing dispenser unit. GE PROFILE TOP LOAD 2007
Hi. I have the same washing machine and I'm getting an H20 error on the display. The machine is taking water normally and drains well. could it be the water supply for the softener? Thanks.
A fill error is where the machine does not recognise the correct level of water in the allowed time. Run a test cycle, the water should fill to the normal level in under a minute and a half (approx). if it has not check the water supply is fully on and the water pressure is enough. For more information see another video: ruclips.net/video/VS48G_cwCXo/видео.html
the cube a common cause with some Beko machines is the concrete weights under the front of the machine coming loose and banging on the drum. Disconnect and lower onto its side to check. I have the same model of washing machine. I removed the detergent drawer cover with the jets and gave it a thorough soaking and cleaning. When the washing machine is on the prewash cycle, water comes out of most of the jets in the prewash compartment and it seems fine, but then later on in the programme it makes a humming/straining sound and water doesn't come through the jets but out of the nozzle at the back of the drawer at quite low pressure, more like a slow dribble. Also, when running a full programme, the fabric conditioner won't get emptied, presumably because it is not receiving any water. Any ideas? Is it still blocked somehow or do I have another problem? The jets for the main wash compartment spray with good pressure.
thanks for your help. The thing is, after I removed and cleaned the housing lid, I tested all the jets were clear by letting water run through it via the filling holes (where the solenoids would attach) and watching it come out through all the holes, so I think it must be something else. Solenoid valve not opening up properly?
I took the inlet valve apart to find that the one of the black diaphragms had a tear in it. I replaced the whole thing (though maybe I could have sourced just a black diaphragm / washer?) and it is now working again. It fills much faster.
I cleaned mine throughly.. taken it apart as you did.. I didn't replace the top but I have cleaned it with bleach and black mould remover.. it's immaculate and water runs through it freely and its still not draining the conditioner. Could the problem be the valves themselves? The machine washes perfectly otherwise. Stumped.
Hi..I have some issues with my Indesit washer..I've had it out of it's slot now about 4 times, it wasn't draining off so I drained it off to take the sump plug out, but had to put the washer on it's back and remove the pump because the screw release at the front was sticking after half a turn, found 2 coins stuck in there, put it back together and it still wouldn't drain off, so had to drain off again but this time the screw front came out but nothing was in there, so put the washer on it's back again, found the thin black pipe clogged with grey mud type gunge, scraped as much out as I could with a long thin file ( only thing I could find to fit in the pipe ), after turning on the washer it started leaking underneath, put the washer on it's back again, checked all the pipes to see if they were fitted correctly, made a few adjustments and tried again, water still coming out, but I don't think it's coming from underneath like I originally thought, it seems to be coming from around the soap box area, after watching your clip here..I noticed that black pipe that you disconnected to release the jet plate, do you thing I could have damaged or pulled the pipe off whilst pulling and tugging underneath?
It would be unusual for the dispenser hose to come off even if you lower the machine. Remove the drawer and check the lower housing has not been cracked and if there is no damage try lifting off the dispenser to confirm if the hose is still attached. Coins can knock a hole in the plastic tub if they catch between drum and tub on spin so check the tub carefully and even try filling with a kettle when it is disconnected from the power so you can identify where the leak is.
I sorted the hose, it had come away partially at the top connection near the drawer..I must have tugged on it when I was re-fitting the pump, it's not leaking anymore but the washer still won't drain..I've checked everything now for coins and other items that could be blocking something and everything seems to be clear now, but something is making a grinding noise when the washer tries to drain off, is it the pump?
I think my issue is that the black hose connected to the dispenser drawer below is blocked. I really need help please (with what type of screwdrivers to buy). Thanks.
Never had this problem until washing machines became cold fill only. We had our first front loader for 15 years, hot fill, never had any mould, enter stage left the new all singing all dancing cold fill machines and every 2 months I have to dismantle it and steam clean the jet area.
My LG fornt washer would not dispense bleach and hot water. I did complete trouble shooting and found that when selecting normal cycle, then everything works fine, but selecting other cycles then either bleach will not get dispensed or only cold water flow through.
Check you have enough water pressure on the hot supply as the valve may not open if low pressure. For more information see another video: ruclips.net/video/VS48G_cwCXo/видео.html
Hi Alex, hopefully, it won't be that much trouble lol pull it out as far as it goes then with both hands lift it from underneath and it will come straight out simples.
Hi moray33, on this particular model Mat was able to pull it out but generally pull the drawer out and at the back there should be a pice if the drawer that when pushed down will release it to pull it out.
Hi Ryszard, if the jets in the roof of the dispenser are not supplying enough water into the drawer it will not syphon correctly, if they are too blocked it will have to replace it.
I have this exact same washing machine, cleaned the drawer and I still continue to get clear water residing in it. But also I get water that slowly leaks out at the bottom of the washing machine, specifically the left hand side towards centre of the washing machine underneath. What is causing this?
Hi aaronantonj if the water is still not syphoning then make sure the jets are clear in the dispenser top, if unable to clear then it might need replacing as in the video. You will need to check the internal hoses to see where the leak is coming from.
It's ok..I took the top off and I could see that the pipe had come away on the inside, but I still have the problem with the water not draining off when it's doing a wash load, when it comes to the point where it's supposed to drain the water away something is making a grinding noise, and the water isn't being drained away, is it the pump?
great video thank you. and to anyone who sees this comment and has not already got a front load washer. DO NOT BUY ONE!!!! they are nothing but a pain in the butt. always having issues constantly. I wanted a regular washer but my husband wanted the best...top of the line. well we got a xpensive washer. and it's been one thing after the next. awful ...I hate the thing. I never had issues with my old regular machine. we have the whirlpool duet. SUCKS. THANK God for all these videos online on how to fix these or we would be broke by now from repairmen
Thanks for your comments Sasha, I guess you are used to a top loader. Front loaders are much more efficient than a top loader as they use a lot less water, however they have to be used differently. There are a couple of issues that if you are aware of will help get better results and avoid problems so can we suggest you watch the following videos: ruclips.net/video/0AnLPqcQAmA/видео.html and ruclips.net/video/ifWK9df1qgg/видео.html Hopefully these will help.
Sasha, for every problem solved, another is created. Front Load washers are far superior due to drum, water saving, etc. The only reason you have issues, is because yours is very electronic. Get a simpler front load machine. My old Frigidaire and Samsung had NO issues. The LG used one I bought has dispenser issues, and their techie says not to fiddle with it. Of course I will fiddle with it, take it apart and perform major surgery to get it working right. The thing to remember is that agitator type washers ruin your clothes, stress fabric out, and damage it. FL Washers do not.
Stela Tasheva Remember to allow it to dry after each wash or the mould will return. For more detailss on keeping your machine smelling clean and free of mould see another video: How to Cure a Smelly Washing Machine ruclips.net/video/ifWK9df1qgg/видео.html
Our Indesit IWME 126 conditioner drawer takes the fabric softener but replaces it with water after the wash cycle making it difficult to to put more softener in for subsequent washes. Any Ideas??????
Hi Steve. As the conditioner is topped up by water to start syphoning it is not unusual for this to happen especially if it is filling slowly due to mould. Clean or replace the drawer top to cure it or simply top up from a glass to empty and then fill with the conditioner.
Hi Robert, If the dispenser was 'blocked with mould' watch our other video as it will help prevent it returning: ruclips.net/video/ifWK9df1qgg/видео.html
Hi Awais, the drawer will come out easily without removing the top, pull the drawer towards you and there should a tab at the back that you push down to release the drawer then just pull it out.
Check in the filter at the bottom of the machine as they will usually flush through and can easily be removed. If something gets stuck under the drum watch the following video: ruclips.net/video/HlmVwVjte3Y/видео.html
Hi ADC20032996, pull the drawer towards you as far as it will come, there is a button at the back of the drawer you push down to release it and the just left it out.
Hi Supermom, after checking this error code DDO refers to the reed switch but also check that the magnet under the dispenser is secure otherwise it will cause the error code.
@@eSpares that's could you explain to me where the red switch is and I can't find a magnet at all I've taken out the drawer and I still don't even see where it would go so I can replace it
Hi Supermom 85, we do not have this type of washing machine so unable to advise as we have never seen it but hopefully someone with the same machine can help.
ANYONE HAVING PROBLEMS WITH LEAKES OUT THE FRONT OF THE DISPENCER DRAW. YOUR PROBLEM COULD ALSO BE BECAUSE YOUR MACHINE IS LEANING FORWARDS, CHECK WITH A SPIRIT LEVEL BEFORE UNDERTAKING THE RECOMMENDED STEPS IN THIS VIDEO AS COULD BE A SIMPLE FIX
***** it works wonders cos i had a washing machine that had a very long tray and an ordenery washing up brush couldnt get to the back of the draw compartment so i had a thaugh i rememberd i still had an un open toilet brush and it was more use full than the other brush i was using.
eSpares I need help taking out my drawer to is an old model. Speed qween. I've seen poeple take it out before when they repaired it. Its model number is CTSA7A uta a stack washer and dryer so the dryer is CTSA9A. I dont know why I cant remove it. The dispenser wont depense proberly. We think its bunked up.
my misses was doing washing the other day at 90C and after some time she could smell burning wires. She said she could even fell itching in hey eyes. We got this washer back in 2008 for 200 quit so I don't bother to fix it. We just got new one for 300 9kg
+Phen0mable Might be worth checking the socket for any signs of heat damage. Washers on a boil wash use a lot of power so if the socket is worn or if used on an extension lead it can cause burning. May have been cheaper to check before replacing?.
Hi Daphanie, don't panic it sounds like the drawer has a blockage inside, take the drawer out just like in the video and check for a blockage and give it a good clean and you should be ok.
The 2nd thing to check after cleaning the tray, (which should be routinely cleaned) is the inlet filter screens.. if clogged, the water pressure is low and won't push enough water into the tray to siphon the conditioner out of the cup. Great information otherwise!
Hold firmly on either side and carefully pull. On most Indesit machines like the one shown the drawer is held by a plastic 'ramp' under the body that has to push over the front panel. Pulling on the front of the drawer could damage the drawer.
There are two possible causes of your problem Jon. Either the machine is being overloaded forcing small items to be pushed through the gap between drum and door seal. Or if the gap is uneven or large it can also cause the problem. There are 'wash bags' to put very small items like baby clothing to keep them together that can also help. Check you are not overloading as you should only fill the drum up to 2/3 full. If the gap is too large you can use a rubber or wooden mallet to knock the rim out and reduce the gap but leave about 5mm to prevent catching.
Mould is a common problem 'if you are not looking after your machine'. For information on the best way to tackle and prevent this see another video: ruclips.net/video/ifWK9df1qgg/видео.html
you make sounds too easy to do. I have a problem with the leaking from the bottom of the washing machine and the water came dirty. I couldn't find out the reason yet. plus it is very difficult to detach the hose from the back, it's narrow to unscrew.
Hi Hanada, look around the door seal for a hole or damage to the lip of the seal as it contacts the glass door. If you cannot find any damage you will have to disconnect the machine and pour some water into the drum with the back off to identify where the water is leaking from.
eSpares hi. you are 100% right. I found a big cut in the door seal at 12 o'clock. I watched the video of replacing it; however, I couldn't unscrew the attached hose under the sink to move the washing machine out. the secure clip is old fashioned one plus the space is too narrow to use a screw driver. I wonder if there's a way to upload the picture.
Hi Robin, if your machine is similar to the one in the video then pull it out as far as it will go then pull it towards you and it will come out, it only took Mat a second to remove.
I've just fixed my washing machine thanks to this video, I would never of had the confidence to take it apart before but you made it look easy and it was! Thank you.

Hi 123a, Awesome job! and thanks for letting us know as we like success stories.
The video made it a lot easier, thank you.
Thanks.
Hi Gbolahan Olaseinde, if you are unsure it would be better to get a set which will cover a range of machines and come in useful for other jobs.
@@eSpares thanks
Never had this problem until washing machines became cold fill only. We had our first front loader for 15 years, hot fill, never had any mould, enter stage left the new all singing all dancing cold fill machines and every 2 months I have to dismantle it and steam clean the jet area.
There are a number of reasons not just cold fill, we explain how to tackle and prevent the problem here: ruclips.net/video/ifWK9df1qgg/видео.html
Thanks
Hi Rasheed Rono, Your welcome ☺
My LG fornt washer would not dispense bleach and hot water. I did
complete trouble shooting and found that when selecting normal cycle,
then everything works fine, but selecting other cycles then either
bleach will not get dispensed or only cold water flow through.
Check you have enough water pressure on the hot supply as the valve may not open if low pressure. For more information see another video:

How do you take the dispenser drawer out from SLIM Indesit IWSNE 61253 C (do i have to pull it out like a madman?)
Hi Alex, hopefully, it won't be that much trouble lol pull it out as far as it goes then with both hands lift it from underneath and it will come straight out simples.
Great video, but how do you take the drawer off? You can't just pull. It's probably something silly but I don't know how xD
Hi moray33, on this particular model Mat was able to pull it out but generally pull the drawer out and at the back there should be a pice if the drawer that when pushed down will release it to pull it out.
Thanks 🙏🏾!
Hi Steven, your welcome.
I too have the same problem. What used to was fill the soap dispenser with a mug of water during the operation n problem soove
Hi sahil, thank you for your post and hopefully, our video helped a little solving your problem.
Hi.
I cleaned my dispenser but have a problem now that water is staying in cell after flushing conditioner. Any idea why?
Thanks.
Hi Ryszard, if the jets in the roof of the dispenser are not supplying enough water into the drawer it will not syphon correctly, if they are too blocked it will have to replace it.
I have taken it apart and there was a bra wire stuck in the drain, by the floating ball. thanks anyway. great video on your channel.
Thanks for the comment Caesar, glad all is well now.

I've had to remove a sock from hosing under detergent tray 5 times.
It's ok..I took the top off and I could see that the pipe had come away on the inside, but I still have the problem with the water not draining off when it's doing a wash load, when it comes to the point where it's supposed to drain the water away something is making a grinding noise, and the water isn't being drained away, is it the pump?
The likely cause would be the pump but check the filter again as something else may have washed into it during the drain cycle.
Just checked it again..for the 3rd time now, everything is totally clear, so it must be the pump then ?
Sounds like it, good luck.
Thanks, fingers crossed :)
Thanks for all your help, it was the pump, the new one came today and fitted it in 10 mins, working fine now :)
great video thank you.
and to anyone who sees this comment and has not already got a front load washer.
There are a couple of issues that if you are aware of will help get better results and avoid problems so can we suggest you watch the following videos:
ruclips.net/video/0AnLPqcQAmA/видео.html and
ruclips.net/video/ifWK9df1qgg/видео.html Hopefully these will help.
I am sooo doing this!
Thanks. saved me a callout fee :)
Hi Robert, If the dispenser was 'blocked with mould' watch our other video as it will help prevent it returning: ruclips.net/video/ifWK9df1qgg/видео.html
how can I pull out the drawer without removing the upper cover?
Hi Awais, the drawer will come out easily without removing the top, pull the drawer towards you and there should a tab at the back that you push down to release the drawer then just pull it out.
Some small things drop into my wash... How to take out things like coin ring
Check in the filter at the bottom of the machine as they will usually flush through and can easily be removed. If something gets stuck under the drum watch the following video: ruclips.net/video/HlmVwVjte3Y/видео.html
I have a tip, if your drawer is particularly cakey, pop it into the dishwasher and it'll be as good as new.
Hi Miss Strawberry Cupcake, thank you for your comment.
How do you get the drawer out?
Hi ADC20032996, pull the drawer towards you as far as it will come, there is a button at the back of the drawer you push down to release it and the just left it out.
@@eSpares Thanks, but I can't locate the button.

Can anyone tell me about a magnet in the dispenser that is stopping the machine from working ddo error code
You never mentioned about turning off the water and unscrewing the hose at the back?
Hi Shelly, You only have to turn off and disconnect the water supply if you are lifting the dispenser and valves out.
ANYONE HAVING PROBLEMS WITH LEAKES OUT THE FRONT OF THE DISPENCER DRAW. YOUR PROBLEM COULD ALSO BE BECAUSE YOUR MACHINE IS LEANING FORWARDS, CHECK WITH A SPIRIT LEVEL BEFORE UNDERTAKING THE RECOMMENDED STEPS IN THIS VIDEO AS COULD BE A SIMPLE FIX

how do i take the dispenser drawer out?
What make and model machine?.
eSpares I need help taking out my drawer to is an old model.
I have water pouring out of front where detergent goes in!! Help
Thanks for the comments David, we cover the inlet filter in another of our videos: ruclips.net/video/VS48G_cwCXo/видео.html
How do I remove drawer without taking off top
Hi michael, we need the make and model details as they differ but how to remove is usually in the user guide so have a look.
how i can pull the drawe
Hold firmly on either side and carefully pull. On most Indesit machines like the one shown the drawer is held by a plastic 'ramp' under the body that has to push over the front panel. Pulling on the front of the drawer could damage the drawer.
eSpares can you remove the drawer without taking the top cover off the machine? I just need to clean the soap drawer.
Does this machine have a bleach reservoir???
Hi Bryan, the soap drawer in the video does not have a bleach compartment, it does tend to be more expensive machines that have this facility.
I've had to take a sock out of the water intake FIVE times on my front loader. Anyone know how I can prevent this from occuring?
There are two possible causes of your problem Jon.
Either the machine is being overloaded forcing small items to be pushed through the gap between drum and door seal.
Or if the gap is uneven or large it can also cause the problem.
There are 'wash bags' to put very small items like baby clothing to keep them together that can also help.
Check you are not overloading as you should only fill the drum up to 2/3 full.
If the gap is too large you can use a rubber or wooden mallet to knock the rim out and reduce the gap but leave about 5mm to prevent catching.
Our indesit is having a moly door seal
Mould is a common problem 'if you are not looking after your machine'.
For information on the best way to tackle and prevent this see another video:

eSpares thx for link we might buy that tool of espares

Hi xx
Can we help you?.
you make sounds too easy to do.
What is your full model number?.

I managed unscrew the hose under the sink at last. Now I'm trying to remove the door seal

Hi Robin, if your machine is similar to the one in the video then pull it out as far as it will go then pull it towards you and it will come out, it only took Mat a second to remove.
