Nice video. I used to repair Indisit under a 5-year warranty it was horrible not being honest and saying they are a heap of junk. The repairs must have cost the company a fortune. That motor is far too small for the job, Good reason to keep old machines going because Bosch has gone with the same Italian-made motors, Did you have the machine on an ECO mode or is there no pre-wash on that model now? I have a Miele dishwasher in the workshop that needs a new door-opening motor switch for £180 plus labour. It's actually a £3 China motor if you can find the right gear ratio.

Hello. My dishwasher (Kenwood KDW60X13) fills with water, drains it too, but the arms are not spinning at all. I have changed the Locking Nut because the rubber has worn out and I thought that pressure is unable to build and water cannot pump through the arms . It wasn't the case. Then I suspected the recirculation pump being faulty, took it down and inspected it. No grease discovered, the impellers look very good, everything clean and spins. I measured the resistance with a digital multimeter, no power source connected. I have zero knowledge on how to read the results and what they mean. The pump is Welling YXW50-2F, 220-240V 95W, 0.42A. The power socket(cables) of the pump has a resistance of 125 Ω, and the ones going into the capacitors(I have disconnected them from the capacitor), have a resistance of 246 Ω. I have also taken down the capacitor attached to the pump and tested it. It has a capcitance of 3 uF +- 5%. the multimeter reading is 0.21 nF, which if I am not wrong translates to 0.00021 uF? Is the recirculation pump broken or just the capacitor, or both? Thanks in advance for your answer.
Ah, your hatred for those 1 shot clips instead of jubilee clips made me laugh as im exactly the same, i love working on Bekos dishwashers as their clamps are so easy to work with 😅
The question we need to ask ourselves is, is the manufacturer saving pennies deliberately to make our job harder OR are they that desperate for that amount of profit? Whichever way I look at it, all I can think of is built in obsolescence. I used to be proud of my industry now I have second thoughts, All manufacturers, nowadays, have their own agenda, instead of producing quality, thanks very much for the comment. There are many reasons for your machine not drying. Firstly you need to check the heater circuit at the top of the machine. Make sure that the fan motor blows the warm air into the drum if this is not working correctly then the condensing process will not work correctly. Check the heating element and any thermal cut outs and thermostats also make sure the condenser water valve is trickling water down the condenser plate. If there is no power going to the heating element, then you may have a problem with the circuit board, depending on your expertise at repairing things, it is possible to check the relays on the circuit board.
