Brilliant video, it's such a shame that Derry's only station nowadays is waterside, yes it's a wonderful station but a city of 100,000 people needs far more pubic transport connections. Hopefully Derry can secure a new route to Portadown and Letterkenny following the publication of the All Island Rail Review, but I'm not quite sure where they will fit all of these new lines, unless NIR/IE construct a new central station somewhere like Foyle street to create a massive Rail/Bus Interchange.

I find your rail history videos really interesting, the way you present them also makes them really captivating to watch. Could you maybe do Waterford next?

It's next on the list, but there's very little information about the railways there, so it needs a trip to the Railway Record Society.

A pty the money spent on the "Peace Bridge" wasn't spent on a bridge to bring the line across the river to the Ulster Bus station. It still could have been called the "Peace Bride". It is very unlikely that rail will ever return to Donegal.

Could I suggest a video on the old customs post and station north of Newry. I remember the journey from Dublin to Belfast with my father who was working in Dublin ?
