The young Teamsters guy killing Hoffa and Danny DeVito's character was played by the great character actor Frank Waley. He also played Oswald's double in Oliver Stone's JFK and was also immortalized in Quentin Tarrantino's Pulp Fiction where he "discusses hamburgers" with Samuel Jackson's character.

If people like you had their way there would be no overtime pay, workplace safety and sanitation, workers comp payouts for people who got injured, ect... @@moappleseider1699 Judging by the amount of companies that treat their employees like shit, don't offer benefits etc, I'd say its a fair observation. I don't mean that every business is corrupt but we live in a time where corporations employ more and more people over small businesses.
Additionally, if he was in fact killed in Detroit, would they actually drive his body cross country and bury him in New Jersey? That seems too risky for something to go wrong, and get caught.
The meeting was about 25 miles from Detroit, not all of Michigan is "Detroit". As someone who grew up by Machus Red Fox and ate there often, I know how far it is from Detroit. Here in Michigan, we believe he was put under the Renaissance Center because the cement was being laid there at the time. Just a Michigan theory.
I know, I was born in Detroit, raised in the suburbs too, so I often use that term when referring to the Metro area, such as Bloomfield Hills. I guess what I meant to say was if his body was disposed of, they most likely would not drive it out of state but the barrel in the Detroit River sounds plausible, it's murky as hell and a likely spot. The Ren Cen is also quite plausible. I remember the circus act on the news that one year they thought he was buried on land in Lake Orion and they were digging it all up. This has to be one of the most polarizing unsolved murders I have ever seen.

That was the best scene when Danny Devito walks the club owner to Armand Assante .. he was great
Hi Micheal, have been following you recently and really enjoy the content, I am from Detroit, eastside suburbs! My uncle was at the red fox the day Hoffa went missing, he spoke with Hoffa, my uncle was a top executive with one of the. Big three automakers. My Dad was a trucker and knew Hoffa! I would be willing to share because there is kind of a story behind it but not on here. Don't know if you are interested but would love to share. Thanks Bob
Tell me bout it
Great review as per usual! I enjoy watching these on my Monday Nights! Can't wait for the next.
I’ve heard you mentioning the tapes before . Regardless of the passage of time , I don’t think it’s right to keep potential information from the family
Thank you Michael. Loved this one 🔥
I would personally like to see you get the dream sit down with Joe Pesci, but he won't do it, because he doesn't do interviews. I think it would be interesting for him to go over his roles in Goodfellas, Casino, and the Good Shepherd.
That would be a mystery trapped in a puzzle and wrapped in a enigma. Pesci was great in JFK also .
I was a teamster for 39 yrs just like my father we were UNION !
You know what Michael? You're a funny guy.
How funny? 😁 what do you mean? Funny like a clown? “Goodfellas”
@@davideeliaspedrosobussu469 - You may fold under questioning.
My English is not so well! Your question regarding “you know what” seems not seriously
@@davideeliaspedrosobussu469 - Everything I've said is quotes from Goodfellas.
@@AaronStark1993 😃 your are funny
Can't wait for the SIT DOWN!!!!
"Years ago employers used to take advantage of employees" - Thats going on today as well, maybe we need a modern day Jimmy Hoffa.
I'll take you don't know what you're talking about for 500. Dailey Double: you're lazy, have zero integrity, and work ethic.
@@moappleseider1699 you're the type of person to smear the working class as lazy with no work ethic anytime someone has a legitimate complaint by their employer. If people like you had their way there would be no overtime pay, workplace safety and sanitation, workers comp payouts for people who got injured, ect... You're just a bootlicker for your religion of capitalism
@@moappleseider1699 Judging by the amount of companies that treat their employees like shit, don't offer benefits etc, I'd say its a fair observation. I don't mean that every business is corrupt but we live in a time where corporations employ more and more people over small businesses.
LoL Hoffa was a crook
You have it to easy now a days
An underappreciated and a great movie. Thanks for covering this.
Michael probably knows where the approximate location of the body is in the Detroit river
He's actually buried in my back yard along with 200,000 grievances! Poor guy if he only had agreed to ride off into the sunset.
How big is the Detroit River? Its not the Mississippi.
I love your podcast I'm sick with covid and it's good to binge!
Brilliant. Thank you so much Mr Franzese. You are a gentleman of integrity and authenticity that I admire so much. Love your channel and I always look forward to your next video. Oh and don't mind that you speak about Armand so much, not that you do but it's great to see that you have a deep love and respect for this Giant of an actor. Its amazing that you are very very close friends now. It's awesome. Thank you again and have a great week ahead. 😀😀😀❤️❤️🙌
Jack Nicholson broke the mold on playing Hoffa. No one comes even close to his depiction.
