For some reason I took it personal when Michael says "So Tony gets in touch with Paulie Walnuts. And that other guy" 🙄 Sil was a great character, not only that but Consigliere to Tony when Tony took over the family lol.
The Sopranos was basically the dying era of life in the Italian American Mafia! I can’t imagine how many memories it brought back to Michael! I know it brought my pop & all his remaining brothers and friends nostalgia! Considering so few made it out alive and or out of prison.

I absolutely hated the Italian pizza when we stayed in Italy before coming to the States in 1980. Yes, no matter what lies " Thanos " spreads there was a normal stable time when you spent time in Austria and Italy before coming to America- you couldn't just cross the border and get SSI and free medical care. But back to pizza- I loved gelato and cannoli but pizza... But I have no problem whatsoever with American pizza.
Finally found the entire series on Saturday at walmart! Been watching it since Saturday evening!!
Its an amazing show
Enjoy
I remember it being on Tv when I was around 15. I'm 35 now lol
Ive binge watched this about 4 times......on the couch for days, straight through with rewinds of the best scenes so I dont miss a word. I may have to sign up for HBO MAX to get Saints ......
I could listen to you talk for hours, Mike. God Bless
Great review, as usual!!! I'm re-watching the series, and I just saw this episode yesterday 😀 thanks for sharing how it resonates to you, and how you can see some examples of your life in the series. Stay safe 👊🏻
This has to be one of the most memorable episodes from sopranos. Thank you for your perspective on it, Michael 👍
Another great episode! The boardwalk scene was actually Asbury Park. Was there this beautiful Independence Day weekend.
As a child my family had a hotel there. I remember being on the boardwalk at Easter w my Grandfather when the beautiful merry-go-round was there and the boardwalk was crowded w Easter bonnets! I have a small vintage postcard collection. One w the big swan ride there that I remember. It's taken a long time to bring Asbury back.
I just came across this channel, instantly addicted. I could listen to you all day
I loooovvve the Sapranos. I could binge watch them over and over!
Kathy, do you hit the "Skip Intro" option when you watch the show? Just asking because at the very end of the intro, as Tony begins to exit his vehicle, "the Soprano's" pops onto the screen in big white letters.
Just kiddin' around with ya by the way ;-)
@@johnnyboy7256 1,3,5
@@johnnyboy7256 I can honestly say that i dont have a favorite season. I really liked all of them. However, 1,3 and 5 i enjoyed a little bit more than the others.
I enjoy your authentic point of view
This is one of the best episodes!
I meant no disrespect of my previous statement asking how are you still alive. You have accomplished something big though my friend getting out and being able to live your life without anything happening. My hats off to you now.
When I graduated from High School my mother got me a cake, but she didn't know what to put on the cake. She asked her coworker a man,"what does a teenager boy want on his cake?" He said, "boobs". So my mom got a cake with a girl who had a bikini top. LoL
Men are just men. Nothing wrong with that
Cool Mom
@@martinmena4625 tell that to the feminazis
@@davidrice3337 you're missing the point. The guy meant Tits, Bare tits not with a bikini top on.
@@peterarmstrong6730 that's great!
That's the Asbury Park boardwalk. My mother in law used to live a few blocks from it.
he DID know the tickets weren't legit, but he thought they were safe. They werent stolen, they were bought fraudulently during a bust-out under the guise of a promotional item. Just before he dies, Big Puss actually mentions he'd informed the FBI about "the scatino bust-out", so he got caught because of him.
Pussy gave them Webistics as well as the Scatino bust-out. That was way more than enough to warrant a death sentence.
We, as viewers, know this way before he tells Tony. Him and Skip Lipari discuss it in Skip's car.
@@meekeeboy you're right, that slipped my mind. Good memory!
One of my favorite episodes I watched this one the other day I’ve rewatch this series five times! Love this show and you’re content
I’m hooked on every video you put out mate! Love your stories and opinions! You pop up in documentaries and pod casts I watch and listen to and when you do I’m hanging off every word! Safe wishes from Australia!
You are a great story teller. I love to hear how you make parallels between the show and your life. It's terribly interesting.
I just watched this episode yesterday. Great breakdown as always Mike!
Your a good guy Sir Michael. You did a very admirable move in life by being forgiving
One my favourite episodes, along with pine barrens.
That weight when a friend is not really a friend, terrific episode, I can see how you identify yourself in a kind of similar situation Michael big hug from Barcelona. Looking forward to watch the sitdown with Vincent Pastore
One of the best episodes of Television ever made.
This is hands down my favorite channel on RUclips these days.

When it comes to your business with your brother, your family, that's exactly what it is....YOUR business, Mr. Franzese. Nobody else has a right to question you for it. Great episode!
Please. Talking about how some people wouldn't approve of him forgiving his brother is a humblebrag. He's really saying, "Look what a great guy I am for forgiving my brother even though he betrayed our father." If he didn't want it to be our business he wouldn't talk about it publicly all the time.
@@mehardin All I'm saying is, its his business how he handles it. The man is not on a "humblebrag" brigade. Try not to overthink it so much. It's really not that deep...
Your life and the way you tell these stories is Amazing
Such a classic mob show Rest In Peace James you were the shit especially in this show.
The Naples episode in season 2 is one of my personal favourites, I go to Naples every year to see friends out there, and I will watch that episode to hype my up for it, we even got to see the Excelsior where they stayed
The dream scenes was not in AC, it was in Asbury Park, NJ!!
7:35 Yeah I caught that too. It was in Asbury Park, not Atlantic City. To be fair Michael Franzese isn't from Jersey, so he wouldn't know. I think he's from Long Island.
@@alexibarona5807 Would be nice if Mike did some research before saying AC?
@@KingNewJersey True, he could of found out first. He probably just thought it was AC, since Atlantic City has always been mob'up.
Lol, was gonna comment the exact same thing. Asbury, not AC. ;)
It could've just been a slip o the tongue.
Hmmm just saw a Searay boat. Wow Michael. I'll have to take a Dramamine tablet for seasickness lol.
I think Vinny deserved an Emmy Nomination for this episode. Definitely deserved it.
This is one of my favorite episodes. Junior peaking out the window had me laughing so hard.
Surprised there was no mention of Tony finding the tape recorder on Pussy’s dresser in the cigar box/jewelry box.
My hear literally sank in that scene
Mike didnt watfch the show, everything he mentions is surface level observations of a clip he saw online
It's almost as if he hasn't actually seen the episode, huh?
Signor Franzese, the whole series is worth the watch and rewatch from many different perspectives. Life lesson learned from every episode and I’m sure your viewers (myself included) would greatly enjoy your spin on critical episodes having viewed all episodes up until that specific episode. Saluti’
Great story Michael. I know how it was when my mother was the boss around the house. My mother would beat my ass for pissing off my sister (little miss goody two shoes), then she would say wait until your father gets home. I couldn't wait he took pity on me, asked If mom already beat my ass and I told him she did. He then said If she asked, tell her I did too. She was the greatest and so was he. Miss them both. Hope you and the family had a good 4th.
I just got two ass kickings lol
This takes place on the Asbury Park boardwalk not Atlantic City. Love your channel I am obsessed

Every five years, Michael franzese looks like a completely different person
Wow Mr Franzese. This was hard hitting. Very informative. Thank you. God bless you and keep you always.
I cannot wait to see his reaction to The Many Saints of Newark trailer.
Love hearing you speak especially about the sopranos even tho I’m young (34)lol sopranos one off me favourite! I’m not religious but god bless ya
Food poisoning is miserable. But on the bright side, it teaches you to keep the floor around the porcelain throne clean; On account of how that will likely be your bed until it passes.
I puked over 20 L of water/bile/stomach acid about a month ago. Got no sleep at all, and had to work. Over 20 Litres. It was torture.
That reminds me of my first time being drunk (14), oh what a mess.
I had that n1 flu a few years back. I was in bad shape and about died.it made me get in shape. And stop with bad habits. I still remember my dr coming in and saying yea you got the flu.i said its been 5 days i feel awful. He said go home 1 more day you will be better. It took 2 more days. 7 days of living hell.
Awesome Work Michael Franzese!!👍👍👍 Greetings from Helsinki, Finland 🇫🇮🇺🇸🇫🇮🇺🇸
