I accidentally found this amazing guitarist. I am listening to classical/flamenco guitar 30+ years. I know a master player when I see one. I can tell that this guitarist belong to the top tier of nylon guitarists - perhaps the top 10. I am going to collect all his work now. Love his guitar and his playing. Lots of love!
I too found this chappie - clearly an excellent guitarist - and takes me back to the many superb masters of old - Just wish he had a better electronic acoustic setup - I just feel that this is stopping him from really captivating a beautiful sense of clear and very wide control of dynamics, and coloration. its as if the sound is compressed not by his playing but more instrument and electronic setup. A subtle adjustment of the balance to heightened the brilliance of the melody against the background and prevent the sense of box compression and it would equal anything out there. - Just feel he would have to struggle so hard to accentuate the wonderful dynamics - liberating him to accentuate the legato connection between phrases or create groups of phrases each with their own special character - I have no doubt he is that good - thanks for the return of timeless nylon strings
