Exquisita interpretación, se siente como el sol cuando toma un paseo por las nubes. La dinámica es maravillosamente delicada, los crescendos llenan el corazón de alegría

You produce a magnificent tone. I think the discolouration on the fretboard of your guitar demonstrates a long association and love for your instrument. Thank you beautiful playing.

The rosewood on the 150 year old fretboard has evolved....

I absolutely love the artist's performance and the sound quality of this guitar. All of this makes this piece more delicate and beautiful.

Absolutely wonderful. Faster than normally played on the guitar and better for it. Bravo maestro.

a great musician...why don't we hear more of him? Sensitive, makes his guitar sing like few others can...a master...thanks for the post!

It's not fast at all. Let listen the original piano piece. THe original tempo much faster than generally played on guitar.

Yes, I know, the performance by pianists is much faster. I mean (and I said) it's faster than normally played on guitar.

All you hear with Carles Trepat is the beauty of the music, not the technique, not the effort, it's perfection (at least to me it is!)

I thought a bit fast, but only because I am more familiar with the Segovia interpretation, which I still love. This version is quite incredible also.

Here we have a spanish catalan composer, a song dedicated to Catalonia, and a catalan interpreter! (... humm, something is missing here... Oh, yeah, a catalan guitar instead of the Torres andalusian one! Nothing is perfect) I like to see how each interpreter transcripts this beautiful piece from the original piano score... it is quite interesting. I highly recommend Jessica Kaiser's version. It is a pleasure for the ear and a feast for the eyes! Cheers

You can get Michael Lorimer's transcription (one of the first I believe, and the one used by Segovia) at www.scribd.com/document/153836498/Albeniz-Isaac-1880-1909-op-165-Capricho-Catalan-Lorimer
