4:40 made me remember meso guard that chief bandits had. as a kid I never used it because I was scared of losing meso, but it was probably more optimal than tanking with my hp (and subsequently meso) good video!
For some reason I never thought to stay at weaker monsters to prioritize drops, but I've definitely made a good bit of money staying at Bubbling's. Just hit 28, and I've made more meso than I've ever had at this level. Thank you so much for this video!
Your guides and the way you present are amazing, hoping to see more guides, especially since I never really played maple story as a kid all of this is new to me
@@MapleBinch first of all I like OSMS content and I wish I could play with you (it's not open outside of US so I can't) secondly, this video seems of high quality, your presentation and the slides are very detailed. it seems professional so I think this chanel has very good potential! especially you will make it about OSMS!
hello there! i found your guide totally useful. I can self sustain now. I wanted to ask if you know what good spot of mobs are similar to the ones given here, like, after the wooden mask and rocky mask mobs, which other place is good to train while looting and increasing my wealth, thanks :D
Soloing world bosses (at least for artale) have custom meso sack drops. I was hopping cc's killing Mano for those 2-10k bag drops until I could afford warrior equips lmao.
The way you see mana as a cost is how I see it too... I also look at pushing my gas pedal on my car as money too, that is why I NEVER BREAK unless I must because that is just throwing out irl money. Also taking the foot off the gas is a GREAT way to save money, you see that red light ahead, just chill. Why rush to stop?
Great guide to grinding for struggling beginners. However, excluding quests feels like a big miss imo. There’s a lot of easy quests that directly give tons of free potions, meso, and some items that can be used or sold. Not to mention they align with places you will already be grinding anyway, so you’re essentially getting bonus exp/rewards for barely more effort. If a noob is really really struggling in their grind, they can use quests like Mano and Ant Tunnel as a bail out, then get back to it with a fresh stack of potions.
training bowman and a lot of those mobs have high wep def. is kinda hard to two shot them at those levels. instead i went for low wep def monsters and it works
Fantastic guide. I was grinding horny mushrooms with my friend at lvl 19~ because it had such a large meso drop for their level and I was able to easily make profit. Is there any resources for drop tables?
It's called Artale, which is on MapleStory Worlds. (It's basically Roblox for MapleStory, so there was a team who created an old-school server using the platform.)
It's not a private server. Nexon launched MapleStory Worlds, which works just like Roblox. Someone used the MS Worlds client to build this server. So it's the only legal version of OSMS.
@@MapleBinch Oh so somebody just made a game that looks exactly like old school maplestory. Is it worse than the private servers? Kinda feel like this was created just so they can easily strike those old school servers and that makes me sad tbh
I think it's better than a private server, honestly, because since they're not using the exact Old School client, they get to customize the game with better features that greatly improve the quality of life. Private servers are limited in their customization since they're using the game client's old code. I think this server feels great so far. Also, this server originated in Korea over a year ago, because MapleStory Worlds has been available in Korea for a while now. They've been able to refine the game over time. All they had to do was translate the game for America's MapleStory World's release. So, I think the game feels smooth and polished. I'm a big fan so far.
You don't know the struggle until you type "100" into the potions store and get the "not enough mesos" message
or even "5" and you still can't afford them T_T
Didn't think I'd be personally attacked in the first 3 seconds of the video. All jokes aside, awesome video!
Haha, thanks!

Aww, thank you! Do you have any other suggestions for guides I could make?
Very helpful! love the breakdown of meso cost/mp :)
Glad it helped!!
Need more of these plz.
More old school tips and guides please, I am really trying to master this game
Wow what an interesting channel
I have a feeling this channel will explode

sounds like a decent strategy. I just hate CC'ing in Artale :(
That feel when you go from selling ores to afford potions, to buying scrolls for millions and millions
for realssss. I'm in my farming era
great guide on farming scrolls
Thanks! Good luck with your drops :)
He's on that Rich Binch mindset gyatdayum
we don't want no broke binches .
binch video after so long? lets go!
Hey Gabriel! Hope you're doing well. You playing Artale?
@@MapleBinch yup yup started 2 days and having a blast, also glad to see you doing well!
Binch is soooo back 💜
YERRR. I'm loving Old School. You playing too?
Each 3 stirge is roughly 1 mana pot great for level 20-25
Great suggestion!!
Very well put!

Yeah, it's rough at the beginning :( but 3rd job Bowman has such awesome skills!! It will definitely be worth it
aaaaa So cute
haha yes
@@MapleBinch hek yeahh
Is it technically better to specifically travel to Elinnia, get tp scrolls, and save the 8 meso per potion?
Technically, yes, but totally not worth the hassle. It add too much of a mental load on yourself. You need to save mental energy for grinding :)
Well this doesn't apply to the awful minimum damage of pirate's double shot 😅 I do like 3 to 230 dmg per cast. Hopefully it gets better at 2nd job
Oof, yeah, I hear pirates aren't the best until 3rd job :(
what server do u play on?
It's called Artale. It's an Old School remake on Nexon's platform called Maple Worlds.
i think hes playing artale on maple worlds

Nice! As for drop tables, I've been using osmlib.com ... it's like 95% accurate for drop tables, but the % chances are completely wrong I'm assuming.
Broooo even dressed up in the maplestory og underwear dude
LOL nice catch
Yooooo!!
