    My boy is 2 and he did his closest to “choking” situations at this age verses when he was little. He wasn’t truely choking but people around thought he was but I knew his cues and saw he was actually trying to gag the piece up and so leaned him forward and encouraged him to keep gaging my family was so shocked I stayed calm. He did it again today with a strawberry but he knows how to gag very well if he doesn’t chew something enough. Kids know what to do for the most part if you start them out right and give them the visual cues young

    For the beer liver, try Lily Nichols’ beef liver pate recipe! You can freeze it into cubes and add it in to food. Or you can even eat it as a dip! My two year old loves it!

    I did a lot of experimenting with liver. My experience with liver is that it needs to marinade in fresh lemon juice for at least 12 hours before cooking. Drain all of the liquid and marinade off and pat the liver dry. Sear on medium high heat in a frying pan and cook like you would do a pan fried steak for one to three minutes per side (depends on thickness of liver). Do not overcook liver or it’s nasty. Serve liver with strong flavours like fried onions (fried separate from the liver) mustard, pickles or sauerkraut. Alternatively get a liver sausage that is 10 percent liver, or a good pate with liver in it. My little one likes the pate best, but also enjoys liver when it’s in sausage.
    Love seeing you experiment and expose your little one to new flavours and textures. Happy eating. I enjoy your videos!

    Love this video! My husband freaks out when our littlest one gags (he hates that part of them learning how to eat solids), and I totally get it, but I've been able to remain calm most times because I remind myself it's a completely normal reaction for babies and it's part of them learning what they're comfortable swallowing (and like you said, choking is silent - if they're coughing it means they can breathe)👍 Also, unrelated note: green is definitely your color!😍🫶

    • @HealthNutNutrition
      @HealthNutNutrition  7 месяцев назад +1

      So happy you enjoyed the video! I know it’s scary when they are learning but I remind myself I am teaching a valuable skill and by teaching them how to chew probably now it will help prevent choking in the future. If you just stick to purées it’s never teaching them those skills.

    Your children are adorable. Today, I did the same thing as you did. I saw organic green grapes for $4.99 and I thought this was a great deal. When looking at my receipt at home, I saw that the grapes were $12.72 and that they were $4.99 a Ib. I have learned my lesson.

    I love beef liver, my favorite recipe is butter on the pan, saute in bite chunks until they are almost done and then a splash or two of vinegar and a tablespoon of honey! (Salt and pepper to taste) Try and you will be amazed. My favorite for masking it is mixing grated beef liver in minced beef, even kids can't tell 😁 but I also like beef liver and onions just like your parents made it. To avoid the smell you can cook it outside ,if possible.

    I stopped using this feeder thing since I was told it´s counterproductive if you do BLW, because it encourages baby to push food at the back of their mouth... I never noticed my son doing it, but I got a bit scared of it so I never used it with my daughter afterwards... Thinking of using it again now that she is 12 months and eats well. Nice video!

Oh and I promise you no body cares more about HER baby than she does - if it bothers u sm there’s a button that u can block or maybe just stop consuming baby content if yall are that bothered ab things out of your control

    The fat you eat is the fat you wear. A body of 70 kilos needs 70 grams of fat a day. Most people eat amount two or three times a day . Eggs and meat are 30% fat and so on. Fat is fat and body doesn’t need to convert it to fat our bodies can store it directly. Sugar / starches are used directly and bodies don’t like converting sugarers to fat, but it will if you eat too much sugars especially refined sugars. Watch Dr. McDougall
