I watched the whole testimony and I must say, Kevin is amazing under pressure. He never stumbled once, never sat there saying "Umm" or "Uhhh", like any other politician nowadays, and always having a clear and concise answer for the questions. Any times that he was not able to answer a question he would just say that he was not able to or that essentially he would need to educate himself further on the topic of the question so that he would have a suitable answer next time he was there. I mean, he never even once had to look through any notes in order to answer a question, he had it all researched and learned.
Professional and stoic.
How, just how did we end up with the elbow lickers we have now in power?
In short, I just watched our version of Colonel Sanders roast chickens for nearly 2 hours...

Well, sorry but I listen to people who have investigated more, and know more about the situation than Rudd does. IE, Joshua Philips, Lee Stranahan, LionelNation, Jerry Kroth, Ryan Dawson.
And if you attack any of those people for any connection to someone else, I'll just 'say that - because Rudd knows Chinese, then he must be a communist.' Which would be wrong.

Rudds skill as an orator is nothing short of amazing, a true superpower. His use of colloquial Australian language endears him without sounding forced, trite or put on. He manages to speak with a constant air of authority, again, without sounding condescending in the least. His timing and delivery are amazing right down to the precise pauses. He always manages to seem sincere, honest and approachable. I'm happy to have voted for him and would again. My hope is this new incarnation of a stronger more fiery Albo can lead to a labor victory in the next election.
Certainly contrasts with Morrison's mangled prose.

Went and saw Rudd at his talk at Cinema Nova in Melbourne recently, it was really great. If he's touring in your city go and see him, he goes through key points in his new book and it's super engaging and he gives thoughtful, practical solutions to these issues. He's also doing free talks to uni students (pretty sure he did at Melbourne uni when he was in town), get him to come chat with you on campus, it seems like he's stoked people are actually listening. Anyway he was hilarious and slick, worth the $20

I have voted labor only twice in my life, first time was for Bob Hawke and the second was for K Rudd. Both made sense to me and had a reasonable vision and platform I felt I could live with. So I was pretty disgusted by the way he was treated by both the press and his own party.

My own mother goes on these long rants now that drives me crazy, she has been brain washed by Jones, Peta, Bolt & Murray. She said to me the other day "This countries problem is the media, it's all owned by the Left" which is what a few of them at Sky have said in the past.
Then we have friends who post links to Sky news clips on FB......it never ends, and they they love to write a little comment about how the rest of Australia is sleeping at the wheel, so they are pushing the "News" to wake people up. If you debunk it and highlight their stupidity, they get angry at you and call you a lefty.
The average IQ on Sky News is lower than 50, it really is. They love drama, and they just want to see somebody being shafted....the truth doesn't really matter.
Then there are the more intelligent ones that are only there to feel like they are making a difference to this country (cause it's changed since their day)
My mums been on the Murdoch news/Sky News ever since she retired. On the bright side, we have argued many times and I have proven her arguments to be wrong, and I think she is finally starting to see it herself. There was way too much joking and ridiculousness in that senate hearing - I'm honestly ashamed at how informal it felt at times. I thought at that level of government it would be like watching a bunch of Picards politely arguing with each other. Perhaps inquiries are less formal than the royal commission itself but as a determinant you'd think the inquiry would be taken more seriously. And they kept banging on about time.. how can you be too busy? this is your job, you're at work, you've got nowhere else to be.
