I'm more disturbed by the behaviour of the Australian Federal Police. This should be ringing massive alarm bells as to the corrupted state of our democracy.
Yes, AFP are acting as hired thugs
I don't think we live in a democracy anymore, this more has the appearance of something more insidious with the illusion of picking our dictator. Democracy has the implication that the people that are voted for are held to account in times of corruption and that doesn't happen here.
@@nemonada3501 well it should happen, they need to be held to account. As citizens we have a duty to insist checks and balances take place. We have a duty to demand overhaul of corruption. We have a duty to spread accurate information and raise awareness when power is abused to hide information from the public. That's my view anyway.
democracy is a lie
What about the royal commission?

The prayer room is one of the only places in Parliament House that doesn't have surveillance cameras, apart from the toilets. So I can kinda understand why they would have chosen the prayer room.
And no one in that joint actually prays when there isn't a camera on them, it's the most superfluous room in Parliament.
Wait, whot? There are cameras in the toilets?
@River Tam remove it
I say this as an agnostic christian. If they have any actual values of Christianity, they would not use it as a moral hostage to a room in parliament house where they can discuss whatever they want without their bosses, YOU, knowing.
@@namanish450 I think you just answered yourself right there, "If". I find it's people who make everything about themselves about their Christianity who are the ones that are the furtherest from their God's reach. "If they have any actual values," they'd know that in their hearts and souls and be contempt, without having to present the picture of a "perfect, Chris-tian family" to everyone. Also, we haven't been the bosses of the people that are supposed to represent us for decades, let alone at all since the major parties' formation. it all make sense to me now. This has been happening for decades in Parliament house. About 20-25 yrs ago, me and my ex here in Qld "met up" with a NSW MP in hotel room, where what I realise now was an "interview". Then next two days he contacted us, offering to relocate us to Sydney or Canberra, all expenses paid, providing us with a payed flat and living expenses. We declined the offer, mostly due to some of the depraved acts he mentioned "some of his friends were into" that first meeting. This video was like a light bulb moment in my head, and I can tell you right now, if the stuff this MP told us is true, male prostitutes is the LEAST of your worries, because some of the seriously sickest stuff I've heard came from that man's mouth, including under aged stuff.
There is a deep sickness in Australia that needs to be cleaned out. I remember back in the early 80's, under-aged boy prostitutes from the "Wall" were taken away for weekend sex parties for politicians and judges. It was common knowledge within the "gay scene" these boys were supplied copious amounts of drugs and alcohol, and used as sex slaves. Unfortunately, many were never heard from again after attending these sex weekends.

Watching political videos about a country you don't live in brings about all the righteous outrage you get from being invested in your own nation's politics without any of the hopelessness.
Hi, I'm an American. Have to say, as a student who learned about Richard Nixon and Watergate when I was very young, it's quite fascinating to watch it repeat in real time. I hope your country doesn't end up like mine.
Federal election in 6 or so weeks. If the LNP wins, we're doomed and Australia will experience a brain drain that will take generations to repair. If Labor wins, expect to see a Federal Integrity Commission with retrospective powers enacted that will provide the new government with legislative clout to authorise a swathe of investigations into almost every single federal cabinet minister since 2013, including the current Prime Minister, Scott Morrison, who will go down in our history as Australia's worst ever Prime Minister.
There's a lot riding on this election. It's not about the economy - we're a rich country with a low population base. Today it was announced we're raking in $100B more than predicted by Treasury in the previous quarter. Not just iron ore and coal. The world can't get enough of Australian produce: beef, lamb, wool, wine, grains. Sales of 'green economy' resources like lithium, caesium, scandium, rare earths and nickel are through the roof. Last year Australia became the world's Number 1 gold producer, and the most significant discovery of platinum and palladium the world has seen in over 30 years was announced. The Australian economy takes care of itself, irrespective of the government in power.
Fortunately our best and brightest economic minds work at Treasury. They oversee the economy. Not the government, and particularly not this government, which is so diabolically bad it's embarrassing.
I have great faith in the Australian people. They've had enough of the corruption - if there's one thing that really pisses off Australians - it's politicians farming out contracts to their rich mates and party donors. They've had enough of watching our politicians treat ordinary Australians like dirt when they are at their most vulnerable. The names Cobargo and Lismore will go down in Australian history for a reason. If you're interested, there's plenty here on YT to fill you in on why.
Our Prime Minister is a dirtbag. Our Defence Minister is hellbent on causing WW3 in the SW Pacific. Our Deputy Prime Minister is ostensibly a drunken fool, but is arguably the most corrupt of the lot. As former agriculture minister, he paid $80 million to a Cayman Islands registered company founded by a current federal cabinet minister for ... what rural Australians call 'goanna water' - it's non-existent. And that Caymans registered company never paid a cent of capital gains tax on its eye-watering profit. How to calculate the profit? An independent valuer advised the government that the 'goanna water' was worth $1 million (because it might rain ... eventually). Not bad eh? Best mate of said federal cabinet minister - rowing buddies at Oxford - runs the Caymans outfit. But no one knows who profited from the 'sale.'
That's where we're at. Australians are livid. All this crap about vaccine mandates, masks, border closures - pfft. International media do not get what is going on here. If the current government is returned, hundreds of thousands of talented young Australians and anyone with a dual passport will leave, including myself and my partner. That's how bad it is.
Hopefully it won't come to that. Australia's greatest asset is its people, who almost always get it right (except in 2019, when they were misled by a pathological liar named Scott Morrison). I firmly believe that Australians will get it right in six weeks :)
The term "Right Honourable" needs to be dropped from parliament. Very few of them are honourable and even fewer are right.
So, “The Prayer Room” is actually Parliament House code for “The Love Shack!”
Bless you Jordan for bringing this back to light during an election cycle
I love that the party big on religion (whom rely on a sizable chunk of Christian voters to win elections are using the religious prayer room for their sexual shenanigans. Shows how much respect they have for the religious institution they claim guides their morals.
That's just an interesting tidbit. On a more pressing note, the AFP have serious questions to answer about their independence. There needs to be a royal commission into their operations involving correspondence with politicians and their staffers/party representatives
As well as the FPU!
The Clive Palmer UAP ad during your video was *chefs kiss*
Rent boys in the prayer room at Parliament. I've heard it all now. My life is complete.
Me too, I can die now. In fact... I kind of want to.
The worst part ...the cronyism and nepotism in media and government filters down into every institution, business and department in our society the stench is rife. The invisible scrounge. No matter what you do, they team up and destroy you
Nothing would surprise me about Tim Wilson.
Lordy .... let's see if anyone in the mainstream media takes this up and brings it to the wider public's attention.
Jordan is going to get Julian Assange'd one of these days. Welp.
You mentioning Chris Pyne gave me vietnam flashbacks to whenever Peter Helliar got REALLY excited whenever Pyne's name got brought up on the Project.
