The Ingeniur was a massive disappointment. I can't believe they paid off Mrs Genta to talk it up, when old Gerald would have been rolling in his grave. For IWC to say they brought back the Genta Ingenieur is absolute blasphemy. All they had to do is take Genta's work and fix up the lugs with what they have on the new one and that's it. But they screwed it up massively with the bezel indents being upside down, no "IWC" at 12, the date window, the oversized dial pattern, and God-awful crown guards. I like their lug and bracelet treatment on the new one, and the shape of the bezel holes, but everything else - they got wrong. They can say that it is at best "Genta inspired" but no way can they call it the Genta Ingeniuer. Blasphemy!!
