Interesting enough there is a review on Amazon where the razor handle separated from the head after 2 months. It was glued on and could clearly see the handle is not one solid piece but joined by 3 pieces. He claims not to have dropped it. You would expect a top of the line flagship model to be better built.
Hi, I own this all stainless 3one6 and the red handled stainless and alloy version. I also own the Feather AS-D2. I agree with what you say about this 3one6 maybe taking Feathers crown. I find I have to overshave with the Feather to get BBS, even with Feather blades. I get a great shave with numerous blades in the 3one6. Great review!! Stay safe Sir, Dave from England.
Great video! I started and still currently use just a generic Wahl DE Safety Razor. I'll be upgrading to the Edwin Jagger 3One6 very soon once in stock at my local retailer (shop local) lol.
My first safety razor was a TTO that I ordered from Duluth Trading Company. After that I got a Edwin Jagger DE 89, which has remained a favorite of mine for years now. Not the 3one6 has me intrigued. If it's more efficient than the DE89 It may well retire the de89.
Great video Abraham. I too saw this razor at the Big Shave Southwest and it impressed me. I don't think it was available to buy at that time though which was unfortunate. I'm thinking about picking it up when it officially releases but If I'm gonna have to choose between this and the stainless Karve there's only one winner for me :P
You called it, I started with the cheap Van derHagen, shaved terrible, switched to the DE89, pretty decent. Now I shave with a 1964 model Gillette Tech and it is the best. How will this new Edwin razor compare to the tech? Thank you, great vids...
I have a cool thing I discovered I’d like to share. The feather AS-D2 handle fits perfectly on the 3 one 6. It matches the head of the 3 one 6 perfectly too. So if you own both you can have a really nice looking razor. The 3 one 6 handle doesn’t match its head. Just FYI.
The razor looks great but they are going to have to be aggressive on pricing as there are competitors making great products for less. I haven't seen any razor beat the value/performance of the Razorock Gamechanger yet. All stainless CNC with a nice case for $55???
@@hello.abraham You haven't heard of the Razorock Gamechanger DE razor? it has been talked about on all the Razor forums for some time now. Just order one from Italian barber while they are in stock. They sell out fast. People say they shave as good as the higher end stuff.
David Austin heard about it but it never got my attention. Tell me about how it shaves, how it compares to the others similar artisan safety razors or other safety razor staples like DE89 or Rockwell 6s. Looking forward to your reply.
@@hello.abraham I only have a Rockwell 6C to compare it to but I never use the 6C anymore. The Gamechanger is smoother and more efficient than than the 6C (various plates and I assume the 6S). It just feels smoother and better made. Feels like a fine surgical instrument. Just google the reviews and comments on forums and reddit. I have only been wet shaving for a year now so I researched before spending my money and valued the many reviews and comments on the razor. I do have the funds to buy a more expensive razor from ATT or Timeless but I really doubt I can get a better shave.
Ho mate. Great review of the Jagger. I have one question though. Is the aggressiveness of the razor the same with the Edwin Jagger de89 as we all know it? More, less aggressive? What do you think?
Hey Vicardo. Single edge razors and double edge razors are so different. The single edge allows me to get a straight razor type shave but with the mobility of a safety razor. I don't think anything can beat the paradigm.
@@WestCoastShavingChinoHills ok thanks for the information I didn't know that, I thought double edge razor where just as good if not better, I like the double edge as you can use both sides the only single edge razor I tried was the one blade which I ended up selling have you tried that?
Very nice review, looking forward to getting one. Unfortunately, I still will not be buying it or anything else from wcs due to their recent ridiculous Aprils fools joke email.
Looks to me the Edwin Jagger really wanted to try and approach the Greatness of the Game Changer .84 but I bet they won't even be close to the value and perfect execution of my number ONE RAZOR The .84 Razorock Game Changer..... I don't need to over pay for the English Pomp. You can see my reviews of the Game Changer.84 @ DE Shave Talk With Kit RUclips Kit
Hey Ramon, Thanks so much for your comment. When we got this razor in, I had 5 days worth of growth, and it had no issues. However, anytime there is more shave to hair (or if the hair is course) you would just need to rinse the razor more often.

Lovely overview on a very interesting and exciting new product. Let’s hope we get a jump on it soon, looked a smooth shave indeed. Thank you, Abraham.
Paul Edmonds thank you Paul!
Hi Abraham- Great shave and razor review; thank you! Very nice preview of this razor. I hope you are doing well and all the best!
Thanks Mike. Hope you are doing well my friend!
Nice shave and review Abe 💈👍💈😎

I would like to know if EJ has any plans on offering a head only purchase option. Thanks.
JR Reyes they don’t sell heads in general, so I doubt they will.
Great job, Abraham.
I will definitely get one but the RazoRock is really hard to beat - all 316L Stainless with a leather pouch and excellent quality.
DavidV agreed, same.
Gail did let me know final MSRP is $119 regardless of the handle you choose (stainless or anodized aluminum). It’s gonna be a big one when released!
The Shaving Tulsan nice!
Thanks. How does it compare to the Game Changer .84?
Darren Cunningham I’ve never used the game changer. Sorry man!
Great review, Abe! I think this razor is going to find it's way into a lot of dens very soon. Great looking razor!
Ross M woot woot.

david czapla in my experience it’s more efficient and hardly any blade feel.

The Virtual Groomroom both razors are SS and that is a big plus for me!

I'm getting the Pear Brr shoppe in the mail today and I'm excited 😍
Pear-Brr Shoppe is very good. That slight cooling from the scent is just right
@@WestCoastShavingChinoHills I love it but the Aftershave is sold out constantly. It'd be nice to have a full set
@@tylerbeadle-follis3338So sorry about that. It's probably our best selling splash. I will make a note order a bit more.
That's wonderful, it's gotta be a good thing if it's selling so quick.

That's one heck of deal! Probably the best value in our shaving niche.
Do you happen to know the blade Gap for the 3one6 ?
A comparison relative to mainstream razors would be more useful. Geofatboy rates it a couple of notches milder than the Muhle R41.
GONNA GET ONE For sure >>>>>>
Does this razor have any overhang looks like a very looking razor
Very little.
Overhang? Are you referring to blade tabs exposure?
Yes blade tap exposure. Thanks

its more aggressive/efficient. maybe 2 steps up. Not more than the R41 tho.
Since EJ has copied Muhle the 89 model. This 3one6 looks identical to the Muhle Rocca. What do you think?

dude, you can turn the razor around 180 degrees and use the other side before you rinse it off
