Thanks for sharing, that must have been super fun hunting in a different country! Love the micronauts, always passed them up to play with as a kid for gi joe or Star Wars, but cool all the same!
Thinking it might be a shame missing out on the like minded shoppers asking what are you going to do with the pieces, then out come beautiful Microman put aside specifically for you from a like-minded fan on the other side of the world. Very impressive.
Has Mrs. toy Polo ever fashioned her own Mini doll clothes? I bet she would makes some awesome stuff. Of course, finding originals is more nostalgic. Still...
I always love how rich the chrome coloring is on the original Takara versions of Space Glider & Acroyear figures, the Mego versions are just so pale by comparison...
I need a G5 Hound Tank! I've got the other 4 and two sizes of Godphoenix, but I need a Tinytank! I'm going to a toy fair in Manchester on Saturday, so fingers crossed! And any shop called 'Hard Off' opening a branch in Britain would be asking for comment! I didn't think they released all the Microman/Micronauts available in Europe in the UK, I only ever saw Time Traveller and Pharoid and certainly never saw any of the Mego designed aliens. I need a Muton Torg Subform too, dammit! I doubt you'll fit it on an Action Man though, too big... Great video! 👍
Great pick ups Dave 👏 I managed to pick up a junker hound tank from eBay as a little project some years ago. A great vehicle which I’ve managed to restore most of it. Nice to see more microman goodness! That Superman figure is awesome 🙌
Cool stuff. Last time i was in Japan with my family, we didn't get much time to go to many shopping malls, but did find some Anderson Konami vehicles, a double CD of all the Ultraman soundtracks and from one of those awesome vending machines, a figure of Charlotte Pudding from One Piece. Have you been to the Bandai toy museum? Well worth a visit and the food vending machines were something else.
I have been kind of fascinated by micronauts from a distance. They were a few years before my time and then Star Wars came along and took all of my attention. Never had one but I really dig their metal heads and see through plastic bodies.
Hey Dave a have a question for you dit you go to vacations to Amerika. And dith you visit there a bunch toy shop there. A want to now if the Japanse toy shops have more toys then toy shops in Amerika. Dough the Amerikan toy shops have also vast toys in stock ?
Fantastic, but after all that you didn't buy a kewpie doll! You should get a Licca-Chan Mister Donut shop as an example of the attention to detail put into Japanese toys!
This is why I can't go to Japan. If I were to go I wouldn't be able to afford to fly home! A Figma Kamen Rider Toque action figure for just over 2200 at 1:11...
Finally got to watch part 3 of you and Jeremy in Japan together 👏👏👏 thank super much fun again 🫶🫶🫶
That Orange Micronaut Aaron is my favorite, not only is he my favorite color, he's Translucent. Nothing is better than translucent toys.
And more excellent finds for sure you got there once again 🤩🤩🤩
Thank you 😁
Nice haul!
Thanks for bringing us along!
My pleasure 😊
Awesome haul, definitely my favourite from this series 😎👍
Glad you enjoyed it
I enjoyed this series very much, thank you Dave.
Take care 😊
Popy Gatchaman tank! Woo hoo! Great find. Been after one for some time now! Great seeing this happen live!!!!

Very impressive.
Great finds. Your suitcase must have been busting at the seams. Thank for sharing, Dave.
It just about all squeezed in 😎

She has. She is a much better sewer than myself.

Looks like you had a great time. Thank you for sharing
I did! Always a great place to visit.
Lovely electic mix

That Police Keeper & Dashwing... M11x... M12x... 😍
I love my Episode 1 TC-14 droid! Always been a fan. Nice pick ups in Tokyo man.
Thanks!
Wow never saw that superman. Can’t wait to see you fix him and give us background info.
Awesome hunt and finds !😊
Those are some fantastic finds!
Love the Henshin Cyborgs 😊👍
Amazing pickups, man i would love to go to that store.
Awesome finds!
Ohh nice score on that R2-B1!
That Superman is awesome!
He is. You'll be seeing him again!

Sounds like you got some great bits.

They are great figures. So creative and futuristic.
Superman looks awesome
I’ve tried going to as many hobby-off shops as possible and I’ve got myself several amazing items.
They are such great shops. You never know what you'll find.
R2-B1 and TC-14 go for around $15 on card here in the states.
Fun series. You could show more footage of just shopping around if you wish.
I was amazed to find them at such a low price.
I'd love to go to Japan some day. I will have to take an empty suitcase though XD
Oh, it's for the 12" Walder! Sorry, I must've missed that bit! Yeah, it should fit an Action Man fine. 😂
Yeah, this is the 12 inch King Walder figure.
Does Mrs Toy Polloi enjoy looking around these shops too?
She comes with me to a few of them.
The Space glider wing action aways reminds me of Buzz Lightyear, I wonder where John Lasseter got the idea? :)
It's very similar!
1 cheer for ep1

Mrs TP had already picked up a kewpie doll 🤣
Had to stop the vid to grab my tablet. 3.08: that's Shaun The Sheep!
TC-14 and R2-B1 were 2 of the harder to find figures back in 1999. £1.67 each is a bargain!
Cool 🆒
Diecast Superman could pass as a Superman villain or one of the robots Superman made.
£1.67 for a Star Wars figure? Sounds like the good old days!
💪🤓
🤖🇯🇵🇬🇧
One thing that would probably suck my wallet dry is all the stupid Transformers stuff. Especially with good old G1 Prime on them.
There is a lot of that but it's always expensive.
This is why I can't go to Japan. If I were to go I wouldn't be able to afford to fly home! A Figma Kamen Rider Toque action figure for just over 2200 at 1:11...
There is so much temptation!
Awesome vid!
Thanks!
I'd love to go toy shopping in Tokyo and Hong Kong!
