I'm 62 years old and I just love this kids channel. It's my favorite. Also, Yes the little white grub is probably the most universal fish (all kinds), plastic bait on the planet, I have several sizes 2, 3, and 4 inch in my tackle box at all times. They never fail. What ever happened to the 6" Magumbo Grub? Forgot who made them, but flylining them on top water from a jetty in So. Cal. have resulted in football sized bonitos on the dinner plate.
20 something years ago I started out on Mr Twisters. But leveled up to the 2 or 3 inch Kalin's grub. Used it weightless/weedless hooked to use over lilly pads. Or with the typical grub jig hook. Great for NY ponds.
I believe that any of these are capable of catching crappie. I don't want to burst your bubble, but I have been fishing longer than you're age, including Crappie. A really good color sequence that I have found to work in the middle to southern US is jig bodies that are Black with a Chartreuse tail, or sometimes solid Chartreuse. Tube jigs work well for me. From my experience, when they are on a feeding frenzy, they will hit most anything that day.
YUM makes some pretty good grubs. I was using the 2 inch Christmas tree color and I caught 21 crappie in under a hour. Also, Mr.Crappie makes some great little swimbaits for mini-chatterbaits or little jigheads.
You can make your own biodegradable grubs and other soft lures using unflavored gelatin and liquid bait scent, even Asian fish sauce will do. I know it’s probably easier to buy the mister twister than make your own but it would make a great video to design your own grub and make it. Major League Surfcasting has a video with the recipe. Thank you for the tutorial, this fishing grandma just started freshwater fishing and you’re so necessary. °\(ッ)/°
I think you should try a similar comparison with trout worms from different companies. I use grubs , and I like to fish them on 1/32, and 1/16 jigheads, sometimes with a jig spinner on the jighead.
My favorite Grub: Bass Pro Shops Squirmin Grub. $2.69 to $3.29 per pack, if I'm not mistaken. Many colors and sizes. Just bought 11 packs of them a few weeks back. Try them out! They work well.
Love your crappie videos- could you do a gulp review with all of the different gulp plastics for panfish that come in the small plastic bottles- thank you !!!!!
I have had great luck with all curly tails, smaller catches more. Have you ever used a bream killer, it looks like a tiny shaving brush kind of. Bass and Bream go nuts on it, its weird , almost zero action but they demolish them.
Hi Brendan! Love your video's, I've been watching for a really long time. I was wondering if you could do some ice fishing this year? Anyways, thanks for uploading and making my day!
did the smallest cheapest one catch the biggest? you can also trim some of those thicker tails skinnier and or make them two tailed and get more action out of them. I know you make your own lures ect but you can also mod plastics also.
Good point. I love a super supple bait but they do get tore up. On those days when the crappie are hitting just about anything, I'll switch back to cheaper, harder plastics just so I don't run through so many..
I myself also love curly tail grubs. I've caught rock bass, perch, crappie, sunfish, 2.5 pound largemouth, 3 pound smallmouth, and even small pike. Awesome stuff. I like the 1-2" grubs for smaller fish and 2-3" for small pike, largemouth, and smallmouth. Mister Twister is my favourite brand, but I find they get torn up a little bit easier because they are so soft. I buy cheaper curly tail grubs from my local walmart in the clearance whenever I can, and I don't care what brand it is, they all work. My favourite colour by far is brown with black flakes, and white for fishing extreme low light conditions (after sunset). Hope the tips help. I personally I believe that curly tail grubs are excellent all around lures that don't get much attention; perfect for beginners and experienced anglers.
My question is durability. Fishing white bass. They tore my grubs up. But then again I caught 100 fish on 2 grubs. Last 3 were just on the lead jig head.
Hey Brendan I have seen every single video u have made. I think they are all very good. You have kept me alive when things were hard. I appreciate you making these videos. Keep making great quality videos. I will stay a subscriber till there is no Brendan’s Fabulous World of Fishing. EVERYONE SUBSCRIBE TO THIS CHANNEL. HE IS AMAZING. THANK YOU BRENDAN!😅😍😭❤️💕👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👏🏼👏🏼👌🏻🤛🏼👊🏼
i like it good video, man i had only catch blue gills and sun fish in my area with live bait could you do a video with yours favorite "artificial baits" for catch bluegill, that will be great and hello from México!
3.49 for 10 vs 5.99 for 20. Rage tail is more expensive lol
@@goldenentertainment6470 Hey Genius, $6.98 is more than $5.99
@pvtpyle40able 😂
@@pvtpyle40able has talking about per grub not stand alone price
Its retail price not technicality, noob
Well u only have the choice to buy a 20 pack

Mister twister had by far the best action
Absolutely agree
Brendan, I challenge you to a homemade lure competition! *Like this so he sees it :)*
Mister Twister! That's a blast from the past!
20 something years ago I started out on Mr Twisters. But leveled up to the 2 or 3 inch Kalin's grub. Used it weightless/weedless hooked to use over lilly pads. Or with the typical grub jig hook. Great for NY ponds.
That crappie was acting weird because you dropped it on a rock😂
Yeah
Started using these at the end of the year and quickly became one of my favorite baits. Thanks for the video
Love your videos. You ask and answer the questions I'm to poor to.
lol @ 5:58 the fish be like looking at us saying WTF! HEY YO!
Heyooo ah😩

Do you feel that glitter can increase your catch rate? I know bait fish are pretty shiny.

I personally I have great praise for the powerbait grub. But the mister twister is also great.
Thanks!!! ive often wondered about if more expensive was better
Great instructional demo video👍. Thanks!
Thanks for the info . Some of those little grubs are just in my tackle box and never even think about using them.
I like these videos a lot but I am extremely excited for the Christmas looking for lures special!😝
I think you should try a similar comparison with trout worms from different companies. I use grubs , and I like to fish them on 1/32, and 1/16 jigheads, sometimes with a jig spinner on the jighead.
I think the Mr Twister was better than any of them they gave more action then any of the others
for sure
Yeah definitely
Back to school Brendan. Cost per unit is how you rank price.
Awesome vid as always Brendan!
3:20 Uh so how did you spend you're time in the video" I SNIFFED SOME WORMS!!!
My favorite Grub: Bass Pro Shops Squirmin Grub. $2.69 to $3.29 per pack, if I'm not mistaken. Many colors and sizes. Just bought 11 packs of them a few weeks back. Try them out! They work well.
What seems to be the best jig head for normal conditions? I always put too much thought in to that part lol just picked some up
That Twisted Sister grub works well.
Grub baits are the best bait to use!!!!!!!
I used to use those. Now small paddle tails. 👌🎣
Love your crappie videos- could you do a gulp review with all of the different gulp plastics for panfish that come in the small plastic bottles- thank you !!!!!
A powerbait grub is still one of the best ones you can use. I like the powerbait ones or the mister twisters.
You should do Brother vs brother cat fish edition
👍THATS A NICE LOOKING SPOT MAN!!!
Yum makes the best grubs in my opinion
My favorite grub is from yum in the 2 inch there super soft and ive use them mainly on blue gills and there a $1.40 for 18
Mister Twister 2” grubs 75 pk for $4.99 cant be beat, found mine at Cabela’s. Slow roll on a 1/32 leadhead and 4# line
Catching a carp proves that power bait works. They normally wouldn't even look at a grub.
This is a great video idea
I have had great luck with all curly tails, smaller catches more. Have you ever used a bream killer, it looks like a tiny shaving brush kind of. Bass and Bream go nuts on it, its weird , almost zero action but they demolish them.
I have the same rod. What are your thoughts about it. And great video
One of the top anglers

Is the 1.99 grub good for mackerel
Great video!👍
You should do a mystery tackle box challenge again
Love the vids keep it up
In this episode, Brendan fails math =c
Most of the time the plastic is harder or softer based on price. And as we all know softer gives more action but shorter life span.
Good point. I love a super supple bait but they do get tore up. On those days when the crappie are hitting just about anything, I'll switch back to cheaper, harder plastics just so I don't run through so many..
Brendan it's snowing in Michigan 😭
Brady B Fishing Ik right I’m from Michigan. Know you’ll never see this lol I’m a year late! 😂

What a classic bait, that looked like a nice spot. Have you been to Ontario to fish?
Good video 🎣💪🏾😎
keep on doing this
Is that guilford lake?
Crappie eat anything😂 I’ve caught them on a bluegill eyeball
Ian Rubin and u have a bluegill eyeball on a hook because...?
Isaac K I filleted bluegill and I had the head so I put the eye on and boom crappie
What i want to know is, which one last longer ?
Make a lure out of a old rod smart idea 💡
At 2:57 Brendon forgot how to talk😁
Mr. Twister is a classic name for curly tail grubs bc Mr. Twister, Ric Welle, invented the curly tail grub.
Imo, the mister twister has the best action
May I ask what you do with used damage soft baits? Do you reuse them or do you toss them?
Melt them into boiling plastic and put it in a mold of any shape you want the bait... i think with fish oils it might work... no promises
Hey Brendan I have seen every single video u have made. I think they are all very good. You have kept me alive when things were hard. I appreciate you making these videos. Keep making great quality videos. I will stay a subscriber till there is no Brendan’s Fabulous World of Fishing.

Come to South Africa
Nice!
i like it good video, man i had only catch blue gills and sun fish in my area with live bait could you do a video with yours favorite "artificial baits" for catch bluegill, that will be great and hello from México!

I think I’ll buy all of them... just in case. 🤔😆😎🎣👍🏽🐟🐟🐟🐟
Your hand looks really bad man. It looks like it's a hundred years old. What is going on? Hope everything is well.
Lol. What a DICK!!!! There had to be one though. Thanks for the laugh.
Good video
Mister twister is the best!
i think the bass and fish like that eat everything you put in the water
More like this
You please make a video on Walmart...
you ever use kastmaster ?
I have the purple mister twisters with the white tails. I knock the perch and crappie dead with them
YES, YES
Love ur vids
you needed to do a time limit and count the number of fish per grub so we know which is best! but thanks for the review anyway
Do it with stick worms I’ve done it my self I’d was Surprised and I want to see if it’s the same out come for you!
just buy a bottle of the scent and spray it in the packs of the cheaper lures.
Hi I love your channel
What am I missing?$3.49 for a 10 pack = .34 each Strike King, Rage Tail$5.00 for a 20 pack = .30 each PowerBait
Yum grub tails are my favorite I think they are the best but that’s just my opinion
Hey love the videos
Technically Rage is the most expensive because you only get half as much.
The old dude was right I caught a pike on a mister twister
Whatsssss up Brendan!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
Anyone else use straight tails more often?
Why are chub in America so small??
You just littered your powerbait pack when you yanked off the tab thing
LMB FISHING literally nobody cares
Damn those cheap one are expincive if got a good black green and grey pack for 37 cents at walmart
power bait grubs 3"
5:09 mistake he says 599 instead of 499
I like yum curly tails the best
Math is hard
the crappie hit the rock on the way down, it probably hit its head or spomtethin'
