Dam thats a really nice home and for only 385k? Thats a steal compared to here in California. A house like this is 1.5 mil. Ima have to look into texas now lol how much is the yearly property taxes on the home?

I'm 54 and my wife and I are VERY worried about our future, gas and food prices rising daily. We have had our savings dwindle with the cost of living into the stratosphere, and we are finding it impossible to replace them. We can get by, but can't seem to get ahead. My condolences to anyone retiring in this crisis, 30 years nonstop just for a crooked system to take all you worked for.
I feel your pain mate, as a fellow retiree, I’d suggest you look into passive index fund investing and learn some more. For me, I had my share of ups and downs when I first started looking for a consistent passive income so I hired an expert advisor for aid, and following her advice, I poured $30k in value stocks and digital assets, Up to 200k so far and pretty sure I'm ready for whatever comes.

It's total BS. That house didn't sell for 385k, even in McAllen.
If you respond to one of these videos, the realtor will tell you "Ohhh you just missed it, I sold that house a couple days ago, but here are some other listings I have for you!" all of which will be nowhere close to the deal being claimed in this video. These absurd price claims are just to get you in the door.
OVERALL A VERY NICE HOME FOR THE PRICE. THE ONLY DRAW BACK WHICH I NOTICE WAS THE EXCESSIVE TRAFFIC FOR CORNER LOT THAT WILL ONLY INCREASE WITH THE FUTURE DEVELOPMENT FROM ACROSS THE STREET AND CROSS STREET. I REALLY LIKED THE HOME BUT NOT THE SITUATED LOCATION.

Unfortunate to see something so nice on a busy high speed road. Apart from that, it's a huge winner. Many people said it would top 1M elsewhere, and I would say, by quite a bit. In many locations, it would be 2-3M

What a beautiful house. It's saddening that a similar one in my hometown would go for over $1M USD. The restrictions/taxes (not to mention recent inflation) are forcing the prices to unprecedented levels.
We've always passed by this house and finally got to see how it looks inside! Favorite part was the dramatic staircase!!! And looks like the backyard has a space for a pool 👍 the room next to the entrance might be an office 🤔 because clients can access it from the outside.. the ceilings are impressive also.. this house reminds me of my husband's house that he built in mid 2000s.. he put a surround system throughout the house and also put LED lighting in the ceiling which I've never seen before..
*Nice, impressive interior spaces. The landscaping could stand some sprucing/trimming and the fountain, a bit large for the surrounding concrete work, would be nice to have filled and operable. And stop the infernal beeping inside.*

Back when I purchased my first home to live-in; that was Miami in the early 1990s, first mortgages with rates of 8 to 9% and 9% to 10% were typical. People will have to accept the possibility that we won't ever return to 3%. If sellers must sell, home prices will have to decline, and lower evaluations will follow. Pretty sure I'm not alone in my chain of thoughts.
If anything, it'll get worse. Very soon, affordable housing will no longer be affordable. So anything anyone want to do, I will advise they do it now because the prices today will look like dips tomorrow. Until the Fed clamps down even further, I think we're going to see hysteria due to rampant inflation. You can't halfway rip the band-aid off.
Home prices will come down eventually, but for now; get your money (as much as you can) out of the housing market and get into the financial markets or gold. The new mortgage rates are crazy, add to that the recession and the fact that mortgage guidelines are getting more difficult. Home prices will need to fall by a minimum of 40% (more like 50%) before the market normalizes. If you are in cross roads or need sincere advise on the best moves to take now its best you seek an independent advisor who knows about the financial markets.Read more

When i get ready to buy a house, I'm all about location location location, its a awesome house, but (for me) i don't like having t olive next to any busy road ways.. worst case scenario if any accidents happen around or near that location the end result could very well be tragic and or fatal for the residence and driver and pedestrians. Yes, i am a worry wart and think about being as safe as possible. I wish i wasn't like this but its kept me alive so far. I wish I could just buy a house and not worry about the (what ifs) again that's just me. NGL its a beautiful house, congrats to whomever get it.🙂👌👌💫

So across the street there was a gas station or public storage unit and the house is on the corner. That corner has a major, busy street or highway. Is it sound proof from the outside noises ( airplane, highway traffic ), is it also soundproof from within floors inside the home.
