Well now u know how it feels. I was in school at State when we last won the acct... and it was against carolina in the finals. Magic still happens. Jimmy V had a hand in this win. It was very clear that RJ Davis was the only UNC player who remembered they actually had to win before they could celebrate. Armando got bullied all night, and UNC probably could've won if he just swallowed some of his pride and asked for help with Burns.
For a university and especially a group of players that have made it very clear they have no respect for us or our program, let me just say, no one feels bad for you.
Seems like a UCONN run from back in the day. Only time I won a tourney pool was being the only one to pick that UCONN team

Tar Heels were lucky the game was as close as it was. Only 1 guy on UNC seemed to play with any fire and that was Davis. Bacot played average. Everyone else played terrible

Don’t hang your heads Tar Heels nation! Some conference teams are happy with winning the Conference Tournament Championship. Remember in 05, 09 and 2017 we didn’t win the ACC Championship, but we won the National Championship! This would have been nice, but holding that National Championship trophy would be even sweeter! I’m as big of a Wolfpack Fan as anyone and this is the first ACC CHAMPIONSHIP we’ve won since I was a junior in high school but I agree with you a NCAA trophy is a step above but we’ve got to relearn how to walk in Raleigh before we can start sprinting again. This could be the catalyst we need to get it back to the Big 3, not the Big 2.5.

Think about this: Sports betting was made legal in NC right before the ACC tournament. NC State had the lowest odds of any NC team to win the tournament, yet they won. Coincidence? Probably, but the “sports are scripted” people will probably save that one for later.
