It's extremely hard to just jump into a jam session with others. Totally freakin' awesome. And he looks so... hot up there... a little sweaty.. (or... is that... just.. me now...)
The fact that people are just now finding out that he can play makes me laugh. He started in South Florida when he was a teenager before moving to CA with the band he was playing with. All before his TV debut. If these screaming little girls were true fans, they'd know this, and so would Yahoo.........
Dear non-guitarists, What Depp did isn't very hard. Not memorized, not improvised, not even blindfolded. What's cool is that he came up on stage to play as if he's a part of the band and looked totallly natural on s tage. People keep missing the point with these "FUCKIGN AMAXING S0L0 DEWWWDDDD" comments. Also (if you actually watch his hands) you'll see that Depp doesn't start soloing till about 4:18, so shut the hell up about how legendary he is. Sincerely, A guitarist
Yahoo exaggerated a little bit- Johnny isn't 'shredding blues' at all here, in fact he's playing rhythm most of the time. Incidentally Billy Carter (whose gig this is) used to be in Depp's band P.
"that was like the best like solo like ever ever, he's so much better (hotter) then zztop" haha why do people pretend they know so much about music when they don't.. not bad for an actor ;) and shows he has some musical proficiency
Okay, so he can improve a lil blues. Hardly smoking guitar solo. the singer and the guy to the far left did most of the guitar playing. Pretty cool he can jam out, but honestly his guitar is shut off or turned down. His Johnny cash style strum thing he does is indistinguishable from the other two.
