    Thanks! I love hearing about hikes that are fairly local to me. The Trailhead would be about an hour and a half from my home in normal traffic.

      Thanks! Not a long hike but worth the drive for sure. Close to a couple of other popular hikes including Iron Mountain and Potato Chip Rock (Woodson Mountain).

    what a great day! looks like a new picnic bench at the turnoff to cardiac hill. I noticed some new signs as well. There was an old "one way" signpost near that intersection but it got trashed by someone. Maybe the rangers replaced it by now cause that was a couple years ago.

      Cool! Good to know they are maintaining the park. It was an awesome day, the sunset was spectacular.
