You made it look easy. Heading to Hahapa Flats tomorrow. Really enjoy that area of the park.

Thanks, haven't been to Hahapa Flats yet, hope to explore that area at some point. There are a couple of peaks in the area that we want to hike too.

Thanks. We've done it twice via that route - definitely will try one of the other routes next time.

that's great! - was it cold and/or windy? you two had shells on once in a while. I've been up there at least once...but earliest was 20 years ago and I don't remember how many times. I went up Pinyon mt. a few times as well...and there's a huge dry waterfall at one end of the pictograph trail in Blair valley - heading to the highway not Whale peak. (I call it the "end of the trail" 'cause there's no way mortals are getting around that fall 😄)
also - I appreciate the peakbagger entries.

Thanks! It was chilly when the wind was blowing. Temps were in the upper 40s. It's a great hike as you know. We've did Pinyon Mt right after we did Whale for the first time. Definitely want to try Whale from the pictograph TH next time.
