lol I know what he mean, Fred is sort of right, Samuel L Jackson happen to be in films where there were other heavy hitters to help the movies become successful. Samuel L Jackson never really been a stand alone talent that held the movie down by himself. The only movie where he was the serious lead with supporting actors was Coach Carter and that gross 77 mil. If u look at Denzel he was the real heavy hitter on screen with his performances as the lead role but his top grossing film ever was American Gangster at like 260 mil and then Safe House and the Equalizers after that. Samuel L is a good actor he just got the right roles that were good. Standing alone with no heavy hitters in those films he was apart if he would be doing Coach Carter numbers about 80 mil domestically. Denzel carried movies and I think Samuel was a big name that helped put movies over the top along side other big names. It’s a difference in my opinion. Like Will Smith, he got that Charisma and start power he can carry movies and ppl will go fill up the seats. Samuel L don’t have the Will Smiith effect in my opinion.

Samuel is ok with not always being the lead star. On occasion. ..He will and has played a supporting role and He makes whatever movie he appears in better.... just being in the cast. that's ok. Producers should write roles for him to be able to have him in their films..
lol I know what he mean, Fred is sort of right, Samuel L Jackson happen to be in films where there were other heavy hitters to help the movies become successful. Samuel L Jackson never really been a stand alone talent that held the movie down by himself. The only movie where he was the serious lead with supporting actors was Coach Carter and that gross 77 mil. If u look at Denzel he was the real heavy hitter on screen with his performances as the lead role but his top grossing film ever was American Gangster at like 260 mil and then Safe House and the Equalizers after that. Samuel L is a good actor he just got the right roles that were good. Standing alone with no heavy hitters in those films he was apart if he would be doing Coach Carter numbers about 80 mil domestically. Denzel carried movies and I think Samuel was a big name that helped put movies over the top along side other big names. It’s a difference in my opinion. Like Will Smith, he got that Charisma and start power he can carry movies and ppl will go fill up the seats. Samuel L don’t have the Will Smiith effect in my opinion.

Fred Williamson has become a bitter old man. I believe all this HATE is coming from what he wasn't able to do with his career. He says that Samuel L. Jackson is not a good actor?
