Good for you on the break-up box! I held on to mine after my engagement for about 5 years, then threw the contents in the garbage when purging for a move. I have always regretted it! 7 years after the break-up, he reached out to me and we eventually became friends..... Then he was killed in an accident. I have wished for that box of letters ever since.
I hear you on yarn!! I have 12 totes of it!!! I used to sell on line, but closed my online shop in 2017, after 9 years of having an online shop. The totes are organized & labeled by fabric content & color, but take up a lot of space. I am moving next month & will have to go through everything in the attic 🤦
Christmas decorations, Halloween decorations, stuff from my old apartments that I’ll need when I move, and some sentimental items/ momentos. I think it looks like a lot because the space is quite small
Your local nursery will probably take all of the scrap fabrics you want to get rid of or like random buttons etc. when my grannny went to a home she was a seamstress/hoarder and we reduced the waste insanely by donating to oaps and nursery’s .. ok I’ll continue watching and give more unsolicited advise soon
I also want to drink wine when opening my ex box.. you’re on the right track though - you are allowed to remember the happy times as long as you remember why it ended (I say this as a relationship relapser)😂
People say to label things, I think you need to have some sort of chaos .. also I bought a house 2 years ago, my cousin stood on the stair railing to see in the loft - then he said “good it’s insulated” and I’ve never been in it again since..
Nice work Aimee! You finished the attic! AND I am SO PROUD of you for facing that one box. You have made so much progress with everything.
Thank you! It felt like such a huge accomplishment 🤩
2:58 this is a really fantastic solution to get through such an overwhelming and random assortment. Super clever strategic thinking!
It worked so much better than I was expecting too! I’m going to use this method again for sure
It looks brilliant such a great job - if the suitcases are empty you could store the little ones inside the big ones xx
Thank you! That’s a great idea ☺️ xx
I would just throw it all down the steps!😂
Don’t forget to label everything!!
Good thinking!
Lols, even though the files got lost, the stuff is still gone! Great work!
Junk = gone. Files = also gone 😂
Well done! What an accomplishment to get it finally done, and for tackling some of those emotional boxes too.
Thank you! ☺️
I’m happy for you that you’re healed. That was a big step.
Thank you. I gave me such an amazing sense of closure 😌
Amazing before and after. Good job! And well done for going through the one box, especially. Congratulations 🙂
Thanks so much! 😊
Great video! Thank you for being so candid with us.
I’m glad you enjoyed it! ☺️

I’m so sorry to hear that. That must have been so hard to deal with. I’m really glad that you got to reconnect as friends before he passed.
I can't believe the saga has ended! Congratulations! :)
Me neither!! Thank you! ☺️
That was an even more emotionally difficult declutter than the usual storage space. Kudos for going through the tough stuff!
Thank you! It was a touch one but it felt so good when it was done

It’s so hard to get rid of that stuff! I see it and all I can think about is what I can make from it all. Good luck with the move. Stay strong! 🙈
Congratulations! 🎉🍾🎈
Thank you!! 🤩
Congrats 🎉x

Get rid of all plastic bags in the attic. It quickly breaks down into flakes.
