I'm sorry I just had to post. I have zero singing ability. Like absolutely awful lol and yet, after watching your videos and doing the exercises I actually felt a considerable difference. First time I ever watched a video like this. Thanks man, really. I've always wanted to sing. Felt like I would love to do it, but always thought it just wasn't my thing. now that I see some improvement, however small it still is, I feel inspired to try and keep on learning. You rock man! Big thanks from down in Argentina. If I could afford your classes I would take them in a heartbeat! :)
and before people start asking, no I'm not getting paid to say this, I genuinely feel this way.

I know right, I always thought that I simply can't sing, but it's that I just have to warm up properly. Now I'm starting to think that anyone with a good hearing can sing with proper training. Btw, I've joined an amateur choir recently :)

However, Eric I see dramatic results. I literally am shocked At learning how relaxed singing should be especially realizing how much I didn't know before I started doing it properly.

My sister who sings at church recommended the first video in these series to me, and that lead to the other two. With the cough and lip roll I definitely felt the engagement in my diaphragm. I also felt the difference in throat tension when I sank down versus going up. Idk if I heard/felt a difference singing once I completed the video but I'm still doing them. With the one that thrusts the tongue forward, as soon as I sang afterward, the difference in vocal texture was so obvious! Incredible!

Just 2 videos on RUclips and I sound almost 100,% I am on a fixed SS budget right now, but I lost my range and tone because of what I know now was vocal fatigue. An old man at my Senior apartment complex asked me to 'rest my voice and after praying, I came upon your vocal warm up videos and a song that I was to cancel for a wedding or lower the range for I can now sing relaxed and with ease!!!!!!! I can hardly believe it. I am in your debt!

Try lip rolling while pushing against the wall. You'll feel the lower body support you should be using. It's just about strengthening your breath support, higher notes will come. (Also don't forget your low notes. You can't have strong high notes without solid low notes. Build a foundation, it takes time) :)

I’m super impressed how well your workouts help... even just after one time. Also my one year old loves these videos too 😂 she even goes along
Also a song I was struggling with, instead of singing the notes, I sung it in lip rolls (however you’d say it lol) and then sang it perfectly and the clearest and fullest I’ve ever heard my voice that high.

I know these videos are 5 yrs old, however I revisited them after 6 mos and directly after practicing the breathing techniques & lip rolls, I began singing some of the songs we sing on the worship team and it was amazing! I sound a lot better...hitting higher notes & projected better as well. I'm practicing EVERYDAY! Eric you were on point when you said the exercises may seem silly, however they are extremely effective! Thank you for taking the time to prepare these videos!
