If you have worked in companies, the main principle is to not think of how other teams will handle their task but if you do your/your team's task effectively or not.
i.e. From India's perspective rather than complaining, one should be focused in taking matter in own hands by securing a high position and making things right rather than running away to USA.

Wish income taxes were lowered. If it was visibly utilised for our benefits, still would have been fine but current situation is just plain philanthropy on gunpoint

Even I don't like paying taxes, but paying taxes is better than staying Poor. I agree taxes money is not used properly but i have seen huge improvement in infrastructure, health care and others in India and there is a long way to go. If we move out of Metro and Tier 1 cities, than we will see real development that is happening. After staying in Mumbai for 23 years i have moved to my native place and things have improved drastically here especially in last 5-7 years in terms of infrastructure, health care, water, etc.

You are doing things wrong if you are not investing I personally feel.
My Salary is similar to yours, but I invest around 50%.
PS: I stay in a rented apartment.
May be you have increased your standard of living.. but all these things to be under control..
They earn so much yet have normal cars..
(Oh btw I do not even own a car because I feel it's too much to buy and maintain)
If required I can rent 1..

Indian guys are always Mumma's little boys.... So, It's always their moms who take all the major decisions of their lives.... It feels good to see that these guys are still so much attached to their moms even after achieving so much in their lives😍... Moms should always given the first right on her son's assets.... That's something, I really like about Harkirat.... He is always a Mumma's boy... as most of the Indian boys
