You’d be surprised. It’s the same with queens gambit/catalan where they try to use that pawn as an outpost to encroach on your territory as that pawn is fairly hard to capture and that chain restricts your queenside movement which is important as it’s where you weaknesses lie.
depends on your level. I always go for kg and ive had this as white maybe once. this opening is called the muzio gambit. After bc4 the point is to give away the f3 knight if they go g4 it's these ne5 ideas are always important to keep in mind tho
I often play g5 and h6 to hang on to the pawn, but after h4, f6 is bad. Bg7 is the better move, allowing the trade of pawns and rooks, and hanging on to the pawn.
>Be me >Try King's Gambit all the time >When they accept the trap always fails >When they decline it's the wildest way >When they also accept I can't do the trap >When they also decline there's nothing about countering it I just wanna learn :')
It has happened once, it was really funny. After f6 white played Nxg5 (which loses to hxg5 and black is up a knight) but black played fxg5 so the same mate happened lol🤣 the game is Greco vs NN
When I watch these kinds videos I m like now I got this but when I play the original game ,everytime my opponent makes that put me in trouble I just don't understand it
*Me watching the video:* Oh wow, thats genious
*Me during the game:* What do i do after he accepts the gambit?
HAHAHAhaha this is so relatable
True
Write it down on a sheet of paper

@@caleb2629 no need, it's going to work once in 15games I promise you
I've never really played the king's gambit but I'd imagine the opponent doesn't really hold onto the pawn that strongly

@@doodoopoo muzio is after black goes g4 with his pawn... And often knight is sacrificed for a pawn
@@naneri ik what the muzio is, but youre right apparently theres also a salvio gambit so after bc4 you can indeed avoid a muzio as white
I've never once seen my opponent play just with pawns like that
Specially in the early moves lol
You must admit tho, there's no better moves for black in that position if they want to protect that pawn chain.
That are logical moves in this Kg defense.
The h6 thrown out of nowhere 😂
I like to gambit my king
Noobs: the king's gambit.
Legends: the king gambit
“H6 to create a strong pawn structure”
😂
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣it was like uhh, okay hahahahahah
It is theory tho, black will remain up a pawn
No one ever plays f6
Which is why it wasn't played
g6 is played but h5 isnt
I’d let him take it to open rook file
@@isaacmillen8789 it was tho
Ther is no need opponent play according to our plan 🤣.
The most shocking move is f6
Me in game trying to do gambit but ends up sacrificing my queen rooks and knight
You explained like every game would be Well examined and predicted by both players.
At the end, It was just like Scotch Opening
I can confirm, at 700 elo, enemy players doesnt protect the pawn that ate the gambit pawn.
Ok but what if he doesn’t accept
Them wondering why I don't fall for gambits: 🤔
Me: Random bullsh-- go!
Me: studys this video for hours
Opponent: declines the gambit
Me: Shi-
Bro if they're playing g5 they will play g4 next 💀
This really helped!
This guy loves king's gambit l've seen a lot of his videos and it is mostly king's gambit
Should mention that supporting the chain with the f file pawn is a blunder
Nobody’s gonna move their pawns only
Always a fan of Kings Gambit
Now the shocking move
now waiting for someone who's gonna do the pawn chain
Nice, although black usually just pushes their pawn to attack the knight, this is still cool if they form a pawn chain.
Then you can play short castles which is a super aggressive gambit
It's all fun in games until he plays kings gambit decline
The odds of this happening is close to zero
No way is someone gonna play their king side like that
i dont play kings gambit but i imagine this to be very unrealistic
Agree its a joke. It will work ofcos, but once in 15 tries. That's the joke
"g5 defends the pawn"
Yea, but it doesn't defend itself
The queen does
@@garradon7602 punish her for defending that pawn
@@not_vinkami can't do it immediately though
G5 is played to attack the knight next move
Genius
Except no one plays their pawn like that. They either develop their other pieces
me playing as black: thanks bro i got mated in 10
I’ve never played the kings gambit, I’ll have to try it
Don't. It's a really bad opening
Good, now we just need someone who doesnt develop pieces but only pushes pawns
I liked it, thank you.
Personally I prefer the original kings gambit, giving up your king
"Bish to c4"
In my experience, Kings Gambit is rarely played at my level. I see a lot of scots and queens though.
After they accept the gambit??? lol okay 😂
I was thinking it was going to be like a Triple Muzio. But wowo
Who would play 6 pawn moves in the opening before anything else???????? That’s not how you play chess

Help I'm low ELO and everyone blunders their pieces after they play exf4
those gambits seem good in theory but in application they dont work
Lol everyone always plays the queen and checks
When you move knight and open lane for queen, is your victory cheapened by having an opponent who falls for this gambit?
Maybe just sacrifice the king kings gambit
Absolutely less than 1% can perfectly or orderly happen in a match.
If you’re a low rating like 500 this might work but anyone above that will see it coming after f4 🤣
No one plays the pawn chain in real life.
unfortunately no one will play those moves as black
Good to know but it looks really like inhumane move order for 1700 less.
wdym? the lower the rating the more likely
@@doodoopoo as somone just under 1000 I would take the pawn
@@ahhscarygeewhiz that's why you're under 1000
Thats an insult, i sayplayers at 1100 would play smth like that with their pawns
is playing that pawn structure really that common? I don't imagine seeing that being played often
How many wins can I pull with this tho
I hope the opponent player must not follow the rules....
I don't understand why the g5 move to protect the pawn that isn't under attack. Can someone explain.
🤔 what if the opponent takes the pawn with the queen
what if black pawn takes on h4
Superbe trick😎
Did i hear "Now bicth to e4..."
No one is going to go pawn h6 though
Be careful not to get mated they could easily win your Queen out of that
imagine even playing f6
What if the opponent have abrain
if i play black i will never play g5 after Nf3
In theory its cool but no one is going to develop their king side pawns like that bro unless you are playing ultra noobs
I heard b**ch to c4 the first time
Checkmate why and you can just move the king to the left or how does it work
The queen can move like the king and can move like the bishop and rook
Except for horse
Why do you need to protect the pawn with g5
I play kings gambit literally every time I’m white
"now bish to C4"
What if he doesn't makes the pawn chain?
The only Gambit i have succeeded to do every time was queen's sacrifice, i mean almost everyone falls for this trap🙂
No one ever does f5 or E6 tho
everybody is gonna use these methods instead of actually being good at chess
you'd have to make a new strategy if they don't accept the gambit
I know this trap yet
U say defense the pon but from who?
Traps work probability is only 4-5%...it works on luck...any other move by enemy can totally ruin the whole trap...
Why on earth would black weaken its pawn structure on the king’s side with these moves?
Nice 👍
Played and lost thanks
This probably wouldn’t happen inna game
100th comment and btw bobby awesome content it helps me out all the time thanks for teaching us these chess traps
Its not chekmate brthr king has moves

Who plays kings gambit like this bro???
No one ever plays G5
Wow
U went from fortnite to this bruh
Ikr, what a massive upgrade
Who play like this????!!
Why would black play h6 instead of g4, makes no sense
