As an amateur (me) I thought the way the craftsman fixed the door alignment with that cut on the bottom rear quarter was brilliant. Metalwork is an art form. I am retired and would work at that shop for free just to be around this stuff.
The Craftsmanship is mind blowing, Its a SpaceX caliber job of restoration and Hot Rodding. I have seen a few 54s in my day and yes the body lines are well done. The engine LS3 with LSA I have also built and is a winner, The chassis was art work, well done marriage. The colors worried me, but the body color works so well the tones work well together, Saw the seats and Meh! But the upholstery was freaking nuts! So beautifully done. Truly a dream car for someone. As i retired 5 year ago i always knew I would then build my dream car but you know things get in the way and I am afraid it will never happen. Having had my run at Hot Rods, this video will remain on my permanent list of favorites and and the fellows in it are such wonderful Craftsmen. Hand Salute!!!! Thank You for sharing ... makes this old man feel much better today. God Bless all the team, Dennis
Neither lowering it down on the ground. This wagon wheel and thin tire stuff along with lowering these cars and truck doen to the ground looks bad, looks like their ready for the junkyard when this is Gomer to these classic cars and trucks. They look punched out.
My '54 was a great car. I made it a real American hot rod with just old school American mag wheels, red primer and a stereo that could be heard from at least a city block away. Straight 6, 3 on the tree and dual 2barrel carbs. Cherry bomb "muffler" that my neighbors well....
Beyond beautiful! My older brother's first car was a 54 Chevy. After he bought a Cutless Supreme and went off to college, our dad sold it to a local guy who still has it.
For sure mate ! I'm always remind those antique american cars from the 40/50's racing at the Panamericana ! true old racers in true life. Long live for the oldies, more 40/50's cars in the streets !! Salute from a guy very far from your country man, here in France.
Wow! What a beauty. Thats the year I was born, so if you're looking for the perfect gift for my birthday, that would be it. LOL. Fantastic job. My first car was a 1953 Bel Air and I paid $10.00 for it. Wish I still owned it. Thanks for the video.
Great looking restoration. There was a 54 featured at a car show in Bastrop Texas a few years back the guy had his Grandpa's car French's in Cadillac rear fenders and pointy front bumper amounts a few other things SWEET looking car.
Beautiful! My next door neighbour had one of this it looked like the car in the beginning. He had a girlfriend on the next block over, he would go round and round the block at idle by her house about twenty or thirty time a day.
Definitely some beautiful fabrication work metal work is this out of the park bro but I honestly think you should do some videos maybe give somebody a lesson really how to do metal work just by watching your videos because the work you do is simply amazing nothing I can ever dream of doing in my lifetime so keep up the good work and God bless you
You know I watch some other build channel on here RUclips like graveyard cards and bring their cars back to life from the day they were born I believe that you're doing one step further than they are just simply amazing work as a video goes so many things I could say but you got them definitely by a long shot they do beautiful work and whatnot but you too simply amazing work wish you had videos so I can just watch you do your thing but amazing just simply amazing you're skill level is off the charts just started watching your channel and I am simply impressed and have to watch all your videos now just wish it was a video video instead of clips of you doing things but God bless have a wonderful day or night whatever time you read these and keep up the amazing work
I would have gone with a deep burgundy color myself , change the rims , and the last minute of the video should have gone to turning the music off and hearing that big LSA run down the road . One thing that was impressive was that you showed how many hours it takes to make a build like this , showing why they do cost a ton to build from the ground up .
Absolutely beautiful. Incredible work. The end result was amazing. I would have chose different wheels. They don't quite fit the style of of the rest of it and when turning they do nothing for the look. Maybe I just don't like dark flat painted wheels.
Excelente trabajo de todo el equipo, son unos genios y artistas y el resultado magnífico con esta hermosura de auto! Felicidades y gracias por compartir 🤝🤝🤝☕
The art of work here is the opposite of a woman: rebuilt with new underwear and old skin. Sorry about the comparison, I love both, but the shape of this 50's Chevy is just wow !
En honor a la verdad es un gran trabajo belleza de auto pero ya de 2 puertas con su permiso para subirse y para bajarme que incomodos son si fuera de 4 puertas era un auto completo.. sin molestias para el que va delante... saludos 👍

Wheel/tire combinations and color choices are subjective,
Craftsmanship is not.
Awesome build!

Beautiful build.the wheels and tires look perfect with that color scheme and stance. One of the better builds I've seen in a while

Absolutely amazing, beautiful car. In my opinion only the wheels don,t match with the whole style
Not my $200k... But it seems pretty cohesive to me. Fabrication skills are 2nd to none.
Exactly!!!

Beyond beautiful!
My older brother's first car was a 54 Chevy. After he bought a Cutless Supreme and went off to college, our dad sold it to a local guy who still has it.
Do him a Favor and tell him to send it to these guys .....for a make over !!!!!
Rolling piece of steel art. Excellent body work!
Beautifull. Always wanted to see these type of cars turned into racing cars instead of the typical cruiser/hotrod/lowrider/kustom.

Great build and the Chevy Chase Lampoons Vacation car in the back was a bonus!!!!
Really killed it with those wheels
To nice to drive. Beautiful work! Lots of dedication.
all the preparation on the body was amazing, and of course the result accordingly congratulations
one of the most beautiful cars of these rock n'roll years, magnificently restored... bravo to the whole team!
Incredible craftsmanship! Your team does great work. This is what I’d love to do with my '54 BelAir 2-door.
All I can say is you do incredible body work. Love the 54s. My brother had one and I thought at the time one of the most beautiful on the road.
I would be so proud to on and drive this masterpiece on wheels...These guys are surgeons
Amazing build. I love the color and the overall aesthetic. You nailed it.
Beautiful! Wish I could see a video of it running
The amount of hand work was staggering but the quality of the job never varied a fantastic job.

Wheels are so subjective, I love the wheels.

Great build! Nice touches with colors and interior.
Any of the shoeboxes with this kind of amenities, would sell by the hundreds of thousands.
Metal & lead guy. BOSS!!! What an awesome job guys..
Thanks for sharing such an amazing and artistic work
You choose a perfect color for that body style.
Beautiful! My next door neighbour had one of this it looked like the car in the beginning. He had a girlfriend on the next block over, he would go round and round the block at idle by her house about twenty or thirty time a day.
This takes more creative imagination, time, parts, expertise, and, money than I have, but, the result is fantastic!!
Cool project! BTW LOVE THE MUSIC! The sheet metal was rough an what you did was amazing!
