Those knobs on trees are called burls. They’re usually caused by some kind of damage or infection, but they can produce beautiful swirly grain in the wood if the tree is cut down, which I hope won’t happen to those gorgeous trees!
A video of exceptional beauty and information about the incredible Christian hidden tracks of this unique island which Great Britain is ! I cannot thank you enough,Steve !🙏❤
Your e quite right steve, this is a super place, the paintings are outstanding, and of quite an age,, altogether beautiful.. Will take a look at your web site too thank you
oh my, a "disabled Toilet"as in not working!! Imagine if that was true-oh the stench of that. Toilets for disabled would be I believe the appropriate English words describing it, mate. I love the accents of the English, as a Canadian with British parents. This accent reminds me of the New Tricks actor and musician, Dennis Waterman as Gerry Standing, one of the great amongst the initial cast of four🤩 Those timbers up top with the massive bells are most intriguing. Looks like tree trunks perhaps. I'd love to see it with an archaeologists eye -to date and describe the wood used to create the strong ceiling, who and what the stories are of these saints/amazing paintings, particularly of the fainted or ill woman in the man's arms, a few chosen headstones for the words or messages, the cultural trio represented on the pulpit.
Very funny but unfortunately that's the way we describe them 😜. Going into the bell tower was brilliant which as stated is rare for me to be able to film. Very pleased you liked the video. Please share 😁🙏. Steve
in linconshire and the yorkshire region in general are some of the oldest churches in england as roman emperor constantine the 1st was crowned in york and he was the first to introduce christianity into the roman empire

trio.@@thechurchexplorer Yes, here in Canada some make the slices of burls into beautiful table tops for living rooms.

Yes I liked Dennis Waterman too 😂🤣
The inscription on the pulpit tester is the reference to the quotation from Isaiah Chapter 58, verse 1 - not to the year 1581. Thanks for the video :)
Thanks great information and thanks for watching
The building separate to the manor looks like it was the tithe barn - anyone know about this? Brilliant video as always! Thanks Steve!
