Story 2: She trusts her friends more, its a huge red flag to see that in women, avoid her and ghost her faster than the Flash, keep her out of your life.

Being a parent means to take care of and be responsible for your children and clearly the OP's parents aren't really parents if their own children see their eldest brother as more of a father then their actual father. The OP should just cut ties with them they saw him and his sister as nothing more than live in nannies to take care of the children they pop out.

No, OP's "confusion and reaction" were NOT "justified". If he was confused about it, he's a complete dumba$$. Just as you say, OP has the freedom to have tattoos. However, the other side of that coin is that the woman is also free to think they're nasty and disgusting and not want them being paraded in front of her kids. Goes both ways. There are enough people who think they're ridiculous or gross that there's no excuse for acting like you don't understand what it's about when you have tattoos and someone wants you to cover up.

That second story, it's clear the so called friend either wanted OP for themselves, the ex gf for herself, or hated being the 3rd wheel so much, because that friend went out of their way to try to ruin everything, niggle and manipulate the ex gf to break up, she isn't worth it. As for the $100 bill guy, I can almost promise you that he was doing that to try to flex, to seem cool, to seem rich, probably some guy that got ego checked.

I can relate to Story 1. I got harassed by a Karen at a water park because I wore a one piece swimsuit with a “Rio/Brazilian Back”. It was tapered at the rear, but it doesn’t go in my crack.
However, water park Karen was screaming at me to “cover up or change swimsuits”, because she claimed I was wearing a thong back swimsuit. She said “There are kids here, that’s a thong you’re wearing! Have you no shame!?”. I replied with “Don’t you have any shame? An old hag, screaming and making a scene in public is a bigger vanity fair than someone wearing what looks like but is not a thong.” She screamed, swore at me, and got a security guard.
He told her “Not a thong. It’s allowed.” Karen got mad and followed me around the park, screaming “She’s wearing a thong! Pervert! Indecent exposure!”. Other park patrons, men and women, told Karen I wasn’t wearing a thong. I told Karen “If anyone is guilty of ‘indecent exposure’, it’s you and your muffin top oozing out of your tankini!”. The other park patrons laughed at her and she left shortly after that.
TL/DR Water park Karen accused me of wearing a thong swimsuit. My swimsuit had a tapered rear in Rio/Brazilian back but didn’t count as a thong. Security and park patrons backed me up on this, I told off Karen and outed her for having a muffin top oozing from her tankini. She left after that.
Story 1. That entitled Karen needs an attitude adjustment. She's seriously out of line. Bring that judgemental and trying to use her kids as an excuse is not the business.
Story 2. OP it's time to move forward. If she's not going to hear you and understand that you have feelings too then it's not worth it brother. I know moving on sux but it's the best for you and find someone who doesn't want a 3rd wheel in the relationship.
Story 3 - I'd just take the candy bar away from him and tell him to get out. First of all what he's trying to do is just plain stupid and Secondly he's probably trying to pass counterfeit money.
Story 4 - I would not have done any of that. You were a kid and none of that was your problem. They chose to have kids and need to do it themselves.

My mom has a good bit of sentimental tattoos, with my sibling's names and a butterfly for one of my brother's passing, and if that Karen approached her, Karen would be dead

She'd really hate me: I have several tattoos on my shoulders and legs and always wear shorts and tanktops because it's what I'm comfortable in. Naturally, these show off my tattoos and I'm proud of every single one.
I bet the Karen in story 1 will tell the security guard that op is drunk or swearing or inappropriately exposing himself to the children.

With the first story, like bruh. I love tattoos & wanna get some myself. I'd be insulted if I was that guy.
Story 1: If the tattoos were things like swastikas or graphic nudity, then yeah, I could understand. But if they weren't anything like that, then it's just someone who doesn't like tattoos.

for story one, both my parents have a couple small tattoos and i have a small one, and plans for more. my grandma asked me at some point if i thought i would still get tattoos if my parents didn’t have any (she’s not against tattoos, she was genuinely curious) and i said yeah, I’d probably still be getting tattoos. I’ve dreamed of getting a tattoo since I was a kid, my parents having them just helped me know that I wouldn’t get any judgement from them

TM -narciccist parents always abuse the "good" kids! My mother got upset I went to RN and paramedic school. I helped her with 800 to 10😢00 a month. She just wanted more and more, at the same time telling me she could have done what I did but would have been so much better and smarter! I had to accept nothing I did would ever be enough! Sad.

Last story, I would have done just my chores and blank stare my parents. They wanted all those kids, now take care of them. Not to mention ousting the dysfunction to the parents patrons. Effectively harming their "ministry".😂😂
The first story 😂 you don't have the right to ask someone to live.
This would only make sense in Japan but the employees would ask you to leave instead of the customers. And even then some places are more willing to put up with you.
Story 1: I as a Christian man have studied why the Bible says not to have tattoos, and as a side note it also says not to braid your hair, In my studies the cultural signifigance of banning these things in that era where that they where signs of slavery and prostitution. I don't see any other way for her to see this other than that she is very legalistic and uninformed in her religion, which I will rail against every time I see or hear it.

I almost thought the first story was about the Waterpark i worked at. I was night security at Wet n Wild Emerald Pointe, been there since early 2019 (left in late 2021 cause of moving) and dealt with a few Karens while there. One time was VERY similar to this

Second story, just ..that was confusing as to what the hell was going on, but friend is manipulative and better off without either in your life.
Story 1: Even if the tattoos are sketchy or inappropriate, it's a public space and he's not a worker. There's a game store I frequent and it's a child-friendly store which means we have to watch our language and avoid certain topics. One of the guys that also frequents the store has a lot of tattoos, including one on his forearm of a large-breasted anime girl with her breasts half out and another one of her legs and short skirt open so you can see her panties (that's on his calf I think). Not once has he been asked to cover them, and no one would, as it's his body and tattoos are considered body art
Tattoos can be on kids btw-
The sad part is that in some countries like Japan the thing about tattoos may have actually gotten him banned

I would like to share a story of my brothers and me..
I 19 female have a story back when I was 6-9-10. (- meant to)
let me tell you what happened...
So my dad cheated so many times on my mom, my elder brother let's call him sam found my moms old phone and said " mommy a notification on Facebook came, can I read it?" My mom thought it was my dad texting her and asking if she needs anything from the store that wasn't the case... "Go ahead, if it's dad please tell him that tea is ready!" Sam seen all the dirty messages my dad sent to (let's call her) Tina and he read out the message one by one before crying and giving the phone to my mother to read in her head before bursting out crying aswell, then my middle brother came (let's call him) charlie he asked why Sam was crying before giving him a hug, I came down and sprinted up to Sam and hugged him and mom and I said "why are you crying?" My mom told me in a way I would understand that dad was a cheater...
Then dad came home and he realized what went on and he said in a sad voice "I'm sorry honey"
We went upstairs to see are newborn brother called John and sat down and fell asleep in the room, meanwhile downstairs my mom asked "how long?!" My father yelled "look it has been 6 years ok!!!"
I woke up and cried wishing this was a nightmare
Fast forward 3 months....
My dad moved into a apartment with Tina and he lied saying he was living with his mom, he came over Christmas but.... Didn't bring anything and he was expecting a hug from us but we acted like he wasn't here and had a lot of fun after that day it was my brother's birthday and he didn't come we didn't care until this happened
In the Last 2 years my dad tried to get custody of me and my brothers and as we are in are teens he couldn't and years later he asked for are help and we didn't help him as he didn't help us 😞

I have a tattoo for my late mom on my forearm and it has her name on it . One day I was at my work helping a customer and she asked if “Donna” was still my girlfriend I didn’t understand what she was talking about but she mentioned my tattoo so I had to explain that that was my mother’s name
I have two tattoos one my arms. On my left arm I have an alien on my right arm. I have a battlefield cross being that I am a veteran. You can’t see them if I’m wearing a shirt. If somebody came up to me anywhere and told me I had to cover up my tattoos, I will tell them to go kick rocks and walk away

The last stories is just sad. OP had to take care of everything involving his younger siblings because their parents are to busy. As parents, it's your responsibility to take care of all your children. It's great and sad that your siblings think of you as a father figure more than their own father because of everything he's done for them. Your girlfriend got in an accident, breaking her foot, and you ended up getting kidney disease leading to kidney failure, but your parents for some reason hate your and won't help you with anything. It's their job to raise THEIR children right, not their oldest children.

Story 1- I wonder if the karen of the story is at all japanese. Pointing to the wrist tattoo that was japanese writing could be her think the OP was apart of a Yakuza. For some context it's pretty much taboo to have tattoos in Japan because most people will believe you to be apart of the Yakuza

I personally am not a tattoo person, but even i am not going to go up to someone and pester someone about their tattoos, i'm just going to not look and ignore. Story 4: At first i thought that this was a case of "empty nest" syndrome or something of the like, but as soon as the OP mentioned the parents ministry and the like, then it all became very clear to me. but the tattoos can mean something like love, a family member passed and a loved one who has a baby tattoos can mean something.

My Parents seem to favor my younger brother over me. My Younger Brother and I are adopted, So when I talk about starting my own family my Parents are always talking down to me saying that they don’t think I’m responsible enough to be a dad and how I need to get a Vasectomy before I get involved in another relationship. For context, I have ADHD and a seizure disorder while my brother who’s 16 months younger than me only has ADHD. It got so bad at one point that I left their house in the middle of the night and got a ride from one of my friends down to the city where another one of my college friends used to live. I was at my friend and his Roommate’s apartment for about a day and a half give or take. I had my phone shut off for most of the time I was there until my friend called me that my mom had called him at work asking if he knew where I was. I then proceeded to call my various family members and tell them I was fine and I was staying with a friend in another City. I’ve since moved out of my Parents’ house and am living full time with my younger brother. Am I the Jerk for taking off in the middle of the night because I didn’t like feeling pressured by my Parents to do something I don’t want to do?
Just because many bad people use tattoos doesn't mean everybody with tattoos is bad
Plus the kids wont get the tattoos if they they don't want it
