      Cam D. He worshipped Satan! How does that make an invitation to Heaven? Do you all not see Satan in this man? Do you not see evil in his art? I trashed his entire collection! I too was fooled by him until God almighty opened my eyes? I had so much respect for his craft. If you have his art in your home, I suggest you get rid of it or plead the blood of Jesus over it entirely. Thomas lost his mind because he made a deal with the devil and the devil won! Thomas was a fraud! He couldn't paint like this if he wanted to.
      Jesus is coming back soon and many of the frauds such as Thomas have been exposed! Satan is walking the earth as we speak. He has been granted his 15 minutes. This is devil worship!
      Repent and pray, says the Lord!

      Apina Would you like to bet? No as in gambling bet, but I beg to differ. Many of you non-believers will be sadly disappointed on the day Jesus returns, if you have not accepted Him as your savior. You would much rather put faith and belief in a QUACK such as THOMAS KINKADE, when he was a known fraud! He did not paint his works. No sound or ethical artist would ever MASS PRODUCE his works. Artists like to only do one, maybe two of each body of work. How do I know, because I am an artist; an artist of painted arts, as well as a jeweler. The one thing I ma known for, is I only make ONE! I may do something similar, but I don't find joy in repeating. Artists enjoy freedom of expression and creativity. Artists enjoy out doing their previous body of work. Thomas worshipped SATAN, LUCIFER, THE DEVIL. This is why his life ended so tragically. Thomas betrayed God and Satan betrayed him. As for the Christmas Cottage, no one and I mean no one on this green Earth could do such a masterful body of work by himself. It would take several brilliant artist to create such. He go so far as to mention in one video, how he has several other artists to come in a do touch up ps and fine tune his work. What artist does that? Rembrandt would never have claimed such nonsense! At the end of the day, Thomas held his chalk like a 2 year old! He doesn't have artist flare, most of whom are rather eclectic! He was anything but!
      As for God and Jesus not existing, I have witnessed in the flesh. Not in a dream or a cloudy image. How else would I know Thomas was a fraud? How else would I know he worshipped Satan? God revealed him in a BIG WAY! I never checked for him, I owned several of his pieces. When I learned who he really was, and what he represented, I took his art off of my walls immediately and TRASHED IT! It is DEMONIC! Trust me, and that's without giving you too much detail. You wouldn't believe it anyway. He is in HELL, running copies off for SATAN!!! FRAUD FRAUD FRAUD!!!! To be honest, he is in a holding cell until the day of judgement! His soul lingers until that time! REPENT AND PRAY, says the Lord.

    ...(continued) There is a TREMENDOUS amount of value in Kincade's painting, for ME. On a personal, emotional level, I find solace in their fairy-tale, magical, exaggerated reality. I feel nothing but pure happiness looking at scene that I know full well could never exist in real life, and if it did, would only appear so magical on the surface, belying the truth of the harsh reality of life even in such beautiful surroundings.

    I adore Kinkade's snow scenes, I just bought "A Victorian Christmas Carol" puzzle to do. His art work is so inviting you just want to jump in the picture. Such a waste of a great talent. Thank you Thomas for the work you did share with us which has given me so much pleasure to look at. Just looking at the pics can make one disappear from the dark world we live in

    People love Kinkade for his mastery of light, his talent for infusing the ordinary with a radiance that seems to shine beautifully from within. He could take an actual place, something we've all been seeing for years, and make it completely new, even magical. Monet could do the same in his own way. Me, I love the stuff of his imagination equally well. Impossible to tire of, unless you're jaded inside.

    Speaking for myself and millions of others unindoctrinated by the mindless stupidity of what’s labeled art nowadays, I would choose any of Kinkade’s brilliant works over, say, a poster-size, exact replica of a can of soup or any of the other laughably lame trinkets getting high praise by blindly fashionable art critics.

    Art is any creation nominated by the creator to be art. An example is Tracey Emin's "My Bed". I don't value it, but it is art. Charles Saatchi thought it was worth £150,000. You may not see the value in Kinkade's paintings, but it is art nevertheless. At what point did I suggest I used fantasy as a crutch for existence? Taking a few minutes from a day to enjoy a warm feeling while looking at a painting does not a crutch constitute ;)

  • @karmakomodia

    Actually, No, I meant Rembrandt.. Makes me cry.. I do love Renoir.. But Rembrandt is the painter that makes me cry. Have you ever stood in the New York Art museum and experience art that pierced your very essence.. Only Rembrandt has had that effect on me..
    Not even Michelangelo has moved me to that level.. And he was a master of masters.. I think Rembrandt's paintings have a life that none other have. But you see, that is just my experience. Other's find him GLOOMY!

    Rockefeller Center, Boston Commons, Lombard St, etc, etc -- all cottages? Kinkade's view from high in the hills of San Francisco is one of my favorites, and certainly the best I've seen of any artist's rendition of the city.

  • @alexbreezybreeze
    @alexbreezybreeze 12 лет назад

    Oh ho ho. Hilarious. Maryloohoo2 mentioned a whimsical thought she had heard about elsewhere, inferring that there was some spiritual or magical feeling created inside her when she views Kinkade's painting and thinks of said whimsical thought. You took her harmless expression of human emotion and spiritual thought and felt the need to YANK her back to Earth, giving her emotional whiplash you flung her on to the hard ground of realism, a place also layered with the sharp stones of sarcasm.

    Physics are math.Simply equations that explain how the matter of the universe exists, and yet there is no Mathematical equation for LOVE. Emotions hinder rational thought and Words are SOLID. Speak negative to yourself or others and you create a negative energy and no one wants to be around you. Where is the equation for that? Hateful words are hateful words not merely a difference of opinion.. I don't paint. I sing! Also a mathematical expression. Thank you for your input!

  • @ObeKanobe

    Conversation piece? You mean like a carburetor on your coffee table or a catalytic converter over the sofa? The conversations would never end. And why not charm the neighbors with a few glossy dirtballs on the lawn?
    The truth is, most people choose nature over car parts every time. In fact, having already seen Yellowstone, we're often happy to visit Jackson Hole as well. Many of us even return again and again for yet another look at the half dome. Wow. That's fly-over country for you.

    When Van Gogh Died he had never even sold one of his paintings and they are now worth millions and revered. I am not a Collector of Kinkade. He follows the principles and elements of design and composition. Perhaps his subject matter does not appeal to you. What about Warhol or Pollack. Art or Crap? Renoir, Vermeer and Picasso are my favorites. I prefer Picasso's Sketches and his Blue Period. But Renoir. AH...His paintings make me cry. I have never understood my reaction.. I don't have to.

  • @alexbreezybreeze
    @alexbreezybreeze 12 лет назад

    The fact that his paintings are not deemed worthy of being in museums merely means that they are either of little cultural or historical significance, or are seen as "crappy kitsch" and are not fashionable. I live in London and Paris (back and forth at least once every 2 months, regularly for the last 6 years or so) and have lived in many places around the world. I have seen and researched historically important non-"crappy" art and am surrounded by it much of the time.

  • @karmakomodia
    @karmakomodia 12 лет назад +1

    I am not a fan of his paintings, but to suggest that they are worthless is merely a projection of your opinion. He's now dead and more than likely his paintings will now go up in value regardless of your view. But then again, as time goes on, even the smallest artifact is deemed valuable and put into a museum. What legacy will you leave behind other than your Garbage!

    ur studied it bad, physic principles are rock solid. and is not hate, is a differentiated opinion, fantasy is entertainment, not art. only a wonderful painting, paint.

    The lobby of a nearby circa 90's office building proudly displays a huge wall full of junked auto parts. Out front are 2 towers of 3 shiny dirtballs. Turds, maybe, it's not clear. Don't know what was paid for that crap, but nobody with a brain doubts that it's a significant asset, an investment meant to enhance property value.
    We are all impacted by art. Nihilistic expressions bias the mind towards despair, towards a disintegration of the human spirit. The effect of MK's art is polar opposite.

  • @lcabosa
    @lcabosa 12 лет назад

    like philosophy is not religion, physics are not math. Simply equations?? what kind of education you getting? get it right, emotions and love are overrated by us Humans, negative and dark energy are for the ones that reach the limit of their ability to create, i paint and study physics, reducing a opinion to hate is just a safe way to run from argumentation . thank you to.

  • @alexbreezybreeze
    @alexbreezybreeze 12 лет назад

    ....so what you have done it deried Maryloohoo2 unnecessarily, make an ad hominem attack against Kinkade, and to sh*t all over the concept of an imagined world wherein fantastical things can be truths, a world where we can let ourselves be happy and free from realism, negativity, sarcasm etc
    I feel sorry for you.
