For those who didn't know..The old Man is none other then "Burgess Meredith" the Trainer in the movie "Rocky"...and he's been in Twilight Zone..and Grumpy Old Men..he's played the Penguin in Batman..and I am proud to say...I admire that Fucking MAN!!!

I lost my mom a few days before Thanksgiving this year. She suffered from dementia. I will miss my mom so much. But I am glad that she is no longer suffering and in pain. I miss you mama, I love you so much!

I love this version. It’s so romantic. I think this is one of the few songs where Kenny G uses a tenor saxophone as he mostly uses the soprano saxophone 🎷
The actor who plays the old man is Burgess Meredith (perhaps best known for playing The Penguin in the classic 1966 Batman TV series and its film Batman: The Movie). This music video was one of this final roles... and what a beautiful performance it was. May he Rest In Peace.
He is also famous for playing the role of Mickey in "Rocky". He was there in I up IV.

We tend to listen this particular Christmas song during the Christmas Season. Kenny G has used his talents by playing with his Saxophone to entertain us with such smooth melody but there is a hidden message behind the curtain. He has chosen the subject matter of an old man who happens to be a filmmaker and played by Meredith Burgess who sadly thoughts that his family have forgotten about him during the Christmas Season. He played some of theseason memorable and sensational moments being captured in these old classic movies from our past history such as Jimmy Stewart and Donna Reed in What a wonderful life, The late Richard Attenborough who played as Kris Kringle in A miracle on 34th Street, Alstair Sims who played in one of the original movies in Scrooge., Ms Ingram Bergman who played as a nun in the classic movies named The Bells of Saint Mary's along with Bing Crosby. It brings back memories of the past history in these movies but the main focus that some of us is spending Christmas alone without being with a friend, family and friends. For a majority of us, we are loved by our immediate family and friends and able to exchange Christmas presents to one another. Yet, there are homeless people who has been suffering from a severe case of depression and failed to realize that mental illness and depression is a health concern and able to destroy our own reputation and Destiny.

Without a doubt the Miracles album by Kenny G is just the best Christmas album out there and Have Yourself A Merry Christmas is the best song of that album.
Love seeing George Bailey yelling "Yeah - Hello Bedford Falls" just as KennyG lets out the climax to this song...gives me chills and tears in my eyes!
And as a side note, Burgess Meredith and Jimmy Stewart were friends going back to when they were young.

Burgess Meredith. The man who played the penguin(60's Batman) also a regular in The Twilight Zone and most known as Mickey from the Rocky franchise Films. He played the gentle old man in this music video. what a class act this actor was. It breaks my heart that he left us but revives it by giving us a performance that leaves us numb in the heart. Take a little time to listen to a few videos of Junior Walker. He played The sax part on Urgent for Foreigner. But had a great career with his own band Junior Walker & the All-Stars working for Barry Gordy at Motown. It’s very different from Kenny G., but unique and wonderful.
