Here in 2023, still never gets old. As good as the first day it was released. Just buried a great friend and this was his gig. Made me love Kenny from word go
Kenny G in his prime was a beast on his tenor sax, although he still can blow! Bruce "Boo Boo" Carter on drums is and was the very best drummer Kenny G has ever had, may he rest in peace! Mr Vail Johnson on Bass, that white boy is the funkiest bass player i have ever seen/heard. I'm a huge Kenny G fan! I have been a fan ever since his very first album and I still am! He's so awesome! Anyone who is a fan and if you've never seen Kenny G live, shame on you! Make it a point to see him live you will be amazed!
I am a huge fan and I got the opportunity to see him play live when he came to my country Nigeria. Was so amazed. The atmosphere was electrifying. I ended up on my feet all night cos it seemed like some kind of praise concert in a church. I totally recall that evening as I type here. it was amazing

His music is so embedded into my black child hood growing up our entire family just thought he was black but never knew he was jewish, we mistaken the frizzy hair for African ancestry, either way this man is a legend and just listening to this bring memories of my childhood back alive again!
He doesn't get enough credit for what he does with Tenor! He just takes off when he solos! It's beautiful! I can't speak for others but I love his style. I'll tell you something else...try to follow him when you practice. You'll gain some respect cause he be flowin! Whatever his style is..He's a Master of it lol! I find him very difficult and challenging to attempt to follow .

I haven't the slightest idea why you should get people (mainly saxophonists, themselves) slating your playing Kenny, I guess it must be solely down to jealousy? I think you're a brilliant musician!
