Well said, it drives me crazy when people say ‘this is a great beginner bike’. Such condescending bullshit. I’ve been riding for decades and I’d love the Speed 400.
You sound just like myself in regards motorcles. I've just purchased the Triumph 400 Speed 2025 model to tour around Australia (one of the largest continents on the planet). I've served with both British and Australian militarys, so for me its a way to get away from the PTSD and relax. I've ridden bikes for over 45 years and had bikes over 1000cc but the Speed 400 fitted just right for me at 66.
Absolutely loved the rant, so true. I can only afford one bike, limitations being, tax, insurance, space to keep it and the initial cost! Makes me lose my sh*t when I hear, "I'm not sure where this fits in my stable, if I were to add it to my collection?" Well, here's a news flash, if I add this to my stable I'm going to go hungry... 😂
I'd suggest taking both out for a spin. If you're any where near Oxford, give Steve a call at Oxford Triumph. He's super helpful and was kind enough to let us take these out with no hassle.

8:49 Well Bloody Said Mate 100% right on that.
Thanks. I like a good rant. They're all motorbikes. What's not to like.
@MotorcycleFettlers Thats just people getting cought up in all the marketing end of things.
That color is sexy as hell..very nice little bike..
It is nice. Personally, I prefer the green, but they're both very nice.
Like your attitude! Have a good one.
Thanks, you too!
Mine will be red, I like that color on this bike. Good review.
Thanks. These really are nice little bikes. I like the green, myself.
Dave in thinking of getting one of these the 400x in that red looks good and that what I’m looking at but I don’t want to rule out the speed 🙄🤔

@@MotorcycleFettlers Dave sorry I’m in Australia but I have a local dealer 😊
Fair point. A little far to travel, however nice they are...
I am from India. I chose the Scrambler. I owned a Himalayan 411. Will get my Scrambler on Monday.
It’s a great choice. Enjoy it.
