People dont understand that the prices of things are never going back down. This inflation is deeper than we think. Those buying groceries are well aware that the real inflation is much over 10%. The increments dont match our income, yet certain investors still earn over $365,000 in stocks and assets. Wish I could accomplish that.
The fact that he doesnt want it to look so high production is amazing, cuz imo when youtubers do too hogh quality videos, they dont feel so relatable and fun to watch anymore.

Unpopular opinion MrBeast's "Last to leave the circle wins 500K" having 100 people was by far the best video, because it had all the things you mentioned but on top of that I feel that in that video MrBeast was shown giving away thousands of dollars, go carts, ps5s, iPhone and 2 cars which made that video the best... He didn't do all these things in his Island video...

This might just be my dumb opinion but I feel like the obsession with retention might actually hurt the content. Forcing something epic to happen every 5 seconds makes it hard to care about any of the contestants in the video. There's no time to pause and learn about anyone taking part

yea jimmy is growing his channel but in the worst way I can imagine... the soulless videos are now a couple of things away from TV/corporate produced stuff, sure he's now become somewhat of a corporate himself but now I don't even see the old gang in his videos, It's just insanely built sets or assets that are utilized for like less than half-a-minute and only used as a psychological leverage to keep this "retention". istg, mr.beast is out here promoting ADHD as much as Tiktok unintentionally. it also doesn't help that most of his fanbase consists of teenagers who seem to take every action that man does as Gospel... Another factor are channels like this too, sure, u did an amazing analysis. I am not discrediting you, you did nothing wrong. But, the compound of "great job" followed by the massive success he's having, Mr. Beast isn't gonna notice this problem. Even if he does, He won't stop either when it is going so well for him... bcuz we all know, we are going to click and watch a Mr.Beast video anyways because of the said level of production... tho idk how long that's gonna last...
Contrary to the popular sentiment I think he's gone too far in terms of retention priority and is damaging the story development. His videos are all becoming about the same and really could add much more depth. Challenges could be much more detailed and have more character development. I think breaking it up into several videos rather than trying too hard to pack it into one would actually help him. Ie. Ryan Trahan. Part of why we all liked him in the first place is being part of the gang, getting to know the characters of Chandler, Karl, Chris etc. and all of that seems to be gone now and you don't really care who wins the challenge since there is not development/storyline.
I enjoyed watching Ryan's Penny series to an extent. I started watching it after it was almost done and got to around day 20 before getting bored of it. It was fun and entertaining but it began to feel the same. Sure make it several parts but don't drag it on for to long. I know that was the point of the series a video a day but what I'm saying is not everyone can do that

They need to add a comedy element to the videos instead of being obsessed with retention and views. That’s a failure of RUclips’s formula, it can’t get away with it if you constantly risk losing your viewers and ruining all statistics.

It's becoming too predictable.. but my main complaint is how sloppy the challenges are considering the prize at stake. If there really is a prize
