It was not only Mike. It was mostly because of Japan. That changed him. There were lot of factors. He worked on himself. Took time off. Because when he started youtube it was non stop vlogging every single day, not thinking about anything but upload a vlog the next day no matter what. While he was working on shows, a movie, business. There was no breaks, no rest, no time off, no thinking, he was losing touch with reality, not caring about his surroudings, other people. Japan made him slowed down and think. Take breaks. He took lot time off to find himself again, go back to his roots, why he started making content. Lot of people helped him in the process. He was smart surrouding himself with the right people. After Japan he worked to mature, be better version of himself, learn and grow as a person. Think before doing something. Taking breaks when needs to.
Mike did maybe 10% of the work. his role was to be Logans baby sitter and just make sure he doesn't fuck up again. He got better because he looked at his actions and learned from them, surrounded by supportive friends he was able to stay motivated and on track to becoming who he is now and he isn't even finished yet. Reaching fame so quick from so young makes you lose out on a lot of maturing time and because it would have slowed him down, he skipped past it and now it's finally catching up to him.
