This guy right here as cracked the code to growing a RUclips channel. Eric Decker, or as you might know him, Airrack has gone from o subscribers to one million in one year. At a time when RUclips has never been more competitive, that’s a pretty amazing achievement
Now before we go into some of the tactics he used to promote his channel, there’s one thing that has really set Airrack apart from other youtubers starting at the same time, he was creating algorithm optimized video….from day 1
What’s the point in having good retention if you have no people actually finding the video which brings us on to Step #2 - Airrack is stealing audiences. Most people when starting RUclips have 3 or 4 channels that inspire their videos, in airracks case it’s Logan Paul, David Dobrik and Mr Beast. A good way to find your content format, is by trying to blend your favorite channels into one.
However there’s still one crucial step missing, building long-lasting relationships with your audience. Make sure to stick around for this one, because there’s something he has done that no other channel in history has

This video contains a series of storytelling and structure lessons that someone who is at the start at their youtube journey might not even be writing down, but they should.
Since the video is very good and it was a good way to start my week, let me give back.
For those out there who write their content, such as Paddy, you should be using some type of Conflict > Solution between every chapter of the content. A further step that I'm using now is mapping where I'll place ads in the video before I record, using the word count tool to make sure I hit the right minutes (usually every 5 minutes for me, what is about 750 words).
That will boost user retention on ads, just don't over do it.

Basically, he's adopted the format of many of the older films, where they would show a teaser of what was to come, paired with narration, paired with cliffhangers. It's basically like a miniature series with fans coming back regularly to see what's next. Pretty genius to be honest.

I’m trying to do a channel about building cars and my lifestyle. Basically I do a lot of DIY and try and bring people along for it in a more fun way. Meet and hang out with my friends and I as we build cars, sport bike, truck, or go to a automotive event, etc.
I want to build some of the coolest cars in the next few years but I’m also 22 and we just bought a house so I’m having to put building / buying cars on hold for now to demolish and rebuild parts of the basement. We have to fix all the electrical and build the garage up a bit so it’s ready for winters so we can build cars year round! ❄️😄

1:47 that's a lie straight from the pit of hell, The RUclips algorithm doesn't help small creators get discovered: TikTok does that, not RUclips. I see people with really great quality content including myself, who follow all the RUclips gurus' tips, but are struggling to get views, while on TikTok we can put out a video with under 150 followers and hit 10k views within 3 days.

Use tik tok to gain hype for your content, put your link in bio of your tik tok and have the best of both worlds
