Ahhh, there is nothing so sweet as the sounds of a pipe and drum band marching down Broadway, at the fireman's Labor day parade and tournament! Be it a police or fireman's emerald society or a private club, what always impressed me were the uniforms, the military precision and in particular, the tenner drummers spinning and twirling their sticks in the air, as they strike the drumhead! Then it was off to the fireman's tournament to cap off the day! When I was a wee lad living in Hicksville, New York, we always considered this our last fling before the start of school! When I was about 4-5 years old I remember going to the Dunblane Highland games back in 1980s and my grandfather played in a pipe band ,he played the drums and done a lot of solos and I love hearing the pipes and drums because it takes me back to my childhood memories which are great memories
Amazing. I love the sound of bagpipes together with the drums. Been to a tattoo once, that was back in the late 70's or early 80's. It was in Copenhagen at Rosenborg Castle.
Edinburgh tattoo office requested me to take down my Edinburgh Tattoo video. They said BBC holds the license and only accept less than 2 minutes video.

Tenor drummers look great. I was in the Otuhuhu highlands and district pipe band as a kid i also played the tenor drum.
