The things about blindness was that it affects Kyle specifically since, as an artist, he relies on his sight to visualize his constructs. (Don’t ask me why it works like that, but blindness was a Kyle Rayner weakness, not a green lantern weakness.)
Yeah, For Hal, one of the contingencies was to force him to relive his past with Star Sapphire, putting hal into a deep depression that would make his ring stop working thanks to his lack of willpower and confidence at that point.

I'll be honest..I was ify on Batman till I read this comic and saw the plans..now I love him. There needs to be a failsafe for mindcontrol or illusions. Even for himself. Which are the robins.. in the movie for this comic the plans were originally non fatal till savage turned them up to 11 they only survived because cyborg was so new there was no plan for him yet

There was a justice league animated story that dealt with this in a very similar way as the first one. Some one stole the plans and used them to take out the justice league. Though batman also know how to counter each plan too. And he saves them from his own plans. At the end after being asked why he stated it was incase any of them went evil. Then they pointed out there was no plan on taking him out if he turned. And he stated there was. As he walks away he says. "That's what the justice league is for." Insinuating they were brought together also incase he ever went rouge to take him down.
That'd be "Justice League Doom" which is an adaptation of Tower of Babel
It was however retconned that it's a lie, as he is already "prepared" for the JL, his real plan for himself is some robot

During the Silver Age an alien switched the bodies of the Justice League with their archvillains (the 90’s JLA loved to reference Silver Age continuity). It’s pretty clear that Batman had envisioned specific scenarios where his plans would be needed.

Batman is overpowered af. In the DC Metal comics issue “Batman Who Laughs” Bruce Wayne killed every single superhero after being infected by the Joker toxin. That just tells you that Batman’s intellect is so supreme that can single handedly beat the whole Justice League, and probably would have beaten many supervillains too if his universe hadnt collapsed. And it wasnt just Batman Who Laughs, it was every member of The Dark Knights under Barbatos.

My biggest issue with some of these is if Superman,Flash or GL turn evil logically speaking Batman would 99% of the time not even have a chance to impliment his plans as the bad guys would be on the offensive and Batman simply doesn't have the reaction time to stop Flash or Superman
Besides the fact that bat already has flash’s speed paths predicted and countered and is always carrying atleast a remote that allows kryponite to disperse in the immediate area.

in the dc au's Justice League, they have a similar thing as well. in it, his motives were basically that someone has to keep them from going rogue. At the end Green Arrow questions 'what about you?' to which he says that hes no different, and hopes that there are those out there that would be willing to keep him in check.

Batman should be kept on the team specifically BECAUSE he can come up with and execute these contingency plans when needed. He's a normal guy with a crapload of money, if he can figure this stuff out, who's to say some random goon can't figure it out too? Not to mention he ALSO has contingency plans in case he becomes a threat as well.
Batman with the strongest plot armor of any super hero. They literally just write him to be able to bear people who would normally just sneeze and he’s dead to beat them lol.

The thing that I see is that in order to make these things work, they have to give plot armor a play to it. What bothers me about this all is that the writers/creators have ensured that every hero other than Batman has personal weaknesses and issues. This is what makes me angry with the writing.
Are you telling me that it was never on Clark's mind just how far villains will go to hurt him? He NEVER considered, as a reporter, very, very, very good investigative reporter - someone on his level and with his abilities, being a crackshot detective and the writers NEVER considered that for him - he never worked that out having access to a number of crackshot investigative reporters, Police Detectives, Masters of Arts, Master Martial Arts, villains who are open to discussing their issues and a number of others?
A person who claims he is a Super hero who creates this attack protocol and makes this all possible? Clearly it isn't planning that is the key for Batman, it's naivety and time. Time to set back and research, think about who these people are and set up plans by this way that matters. I would KILL Batman. Thus, revealing that it is BATMAN's own actions and his very own self who turned me into a murderer.

And this lie that Batman vs Superman is not a fight of the century. The reason why this is done so often, is that it's all about humanism. You cannot suggest that someone like Batman is more than someone like Superman when you have stacked the deck against the super powered being.
Have Clark learn things naturally with his abilities. Have him go through the same studies regarding his own rogues gallery. Have him dig deep into himself, his fears, his actions, doubts, wants and more. Show that with all that energy to his disposal, his intellect is through the roof! And have him master math, reasoning and more through his work as a Reporter and as an inventor and as a hero and then let them go toe to toe. The thing is, Superman is so darn trusting of Batman. It's sickening.

I LOVE Batman as a hero, but hate him in the hands of writers who always desire to make a so-called prepared vigilante ready to take on someone like Wonder Woman who can fight like not many women can match her.

Death Battle did Batman vs. Black Panther and got all salty when Black Panther won because they didn't stop and consider the most important part of Batman's arsenal. Prep time. If he is able to study his opponent and analyze all their abilities, he can create the contingencies needed to counter them.

Batman does have friends which is why his plans are counter measures to neutralize the justice league, not kill them. Even with Batman's no kill rule, that doesn't always extend to supernatural or extraterrestrial threats. Stopping the aliens, space rangers, and mythical beings that could threaten ordinary people, is entirely under Batman's modus operandi. He doesn't kill humans and tries not to kill sentient beings.

I do kinda wish that there were less plans that came down to "NANOMACHINES, SON". Stuff like the tiny red suns in the fists of the Justice Buster is so much cooler and more unique.

there is a animated movie that covers this event to, but in that its adam savage that steals the plans and modefyes them to be deadly. at the end of the movie superman asks batman "you had plans for all of us but despite of that there was nothing for you, are you realy that arrogante that you dont think something could effect you?" and batman answers "i do have a plan, its called the justice leauge" i think the film is named "justice leauge doom" but i could be wrong, its been a while since i watched it. some of the things used is the same as in this one but the fear gass is used aigenst green lanturn. there is a bomb that forces flash to keep runing if he stops BOOM. superman is shot by a bullet made of green kryptonite getting realy close to killing him (superman acctualy gives the bullet to batman at the end of the movie because he wants there to be a falesafe if the worst would happend and he did go rouge or was maincontrolled.

In Tower of Babel, the plans were:
- Wonder Woman: a nanite gets into her body and attached to her brain (I can’t remember how, but it didn’t involve Cheetah or being cut). The nanite makes Wonder Woman think she’s locked in neverending battle with a physical and mental equal. Wonder Woman is paralyzed, cut off from the outside world, and at risk of exerting herself into a heart attack. (Same idea as Doom, but with a few details changed.)
- Superman: red kryptonite which made his skin transparent, which in turn caused Superman to receive so much solar energy he had to exert himself not to destroy his surroundings.
- Flash: shot with a “vibra-bullet” that lodged in his spine when he tried to phase through it. (I’m pretty sure he was shot from behind. He felt the pressure of the bullet on his body and instinctively tried to phase through it.)
- Green Lantern Kyle Rayner: rendered blind through spoilerific means. Since Kyle is an artist (it’s his day job) blindness interferes with his ability to create and control his constructs, which are thought up like any other piece of art Kyle draws.
- Martian Manhunter: shot with a rocket that contained a payload of nanite dust. The nanites bonded to Manhunter’s skin and converted trace elements in the air into magnesium, which burst into flames in the open air.
-Plastic Man (he was in the JLA during Babel): frozen and then shattered into pieces.
-Aquaman (he was also in the JLA during Babel): given a pathological fear of water by being dosed with a variation of Scarecrow’s fear gas.
Cyborg wasn’t a JLA member during Babel. Batman didn’t create plans for himself, but Ra’s stole the bodies of Batman’s parents and led Batman around the world while the attacks on the Justice League were underway.
In Babel, Batman’s on-again off-again lover Talia al’Ghul stole the plans, not Mirror Master.
In Babel the Justice League help each other recover from the weapons without any help from Batman, who was unable to contact them thanks to Ra’s. Batman’s breach of trust forms the emotional core of the story, with several pages spent at the end where each member of the League sans-Batman votes on whether to expel Batman or not, and explains their reasoning for their choice.

As someone who read the comic, Aquaman was placed in a telepathic hallucination by Martian Manhunter and placed in water. Manhunter couldn’t maintain the illusion, which is why it dissipated.
I believe J’Onn is just inside a water tank after the League manage to catch him.

Batman has friends. All members of the JL are his friends.
But he also have priorities, number one being protecting Earth. And given he's their friends, he knows the JL more than anyone else, making him the most suitable person to deal with them.
And him being their friends is why JL's members see that as a breach of trust

Out of all these contingency plans the one who can't be killed is Plastic Man you can freeze him but that ain't killing him it just stalling time to ship his ass to the sun of which even I'm not sure if that can kill him still lol.

It literally can and has taken down the entire justice league, he built it in case the justice league ever went rouge so he can defeat them. In many cases batman has contingencies for himself if he goes bad. The one that everyone knows is Superman but he most definitely has others in place.

Since magic exists outside of the laws of physics, how much prep time would it take for Batman to beat Dr. Fate? The most powerful mystic in the DCU (last time I checked, at least) Dr. Fate could spell cast telepathically and poof, Bat-dust. Or maybe he’d vaporize Bats on a sub-molecular level and completely obliterate him.
