Wouldn’t say wholesome dude was making kids into killers off their fear most robins had a horrible past witch made it easier for Batman to convince when they put that mask on their invincible dude legit made killers has millions of backup robins that’s why there’s so many watch the titans show if u haven’t
@@GTBGetTheBag the titans show is the worst iteration of anything DC, the characters are so inaccurate to the source it's not even funny, and ik in some cases inaccuracy can be a good thing like in the case of Hugh Jackmans wolverine but not for titans they completely butchered every single character in that show Except maybe superboy and nightwing And one thing that pissed me off was how fast Bruce was already looking for a replacement for Jason, in the comics after Jason died batman was unwilling to take on another robin, Tim Drake proved he was smarter than batman inorder to sway him into making him the next Robin
It’s more heartbreaking when you realize that Jason didn’t hate Batman for not saving him but not avenging his death and killing the Joker. When Jason came back to life he found the Joker unharmed and that his mentor replaced him. I think that would drive anyone into a major rage
@@princeofwwe6745 how? If someone kills me and it turns out that im not actually dead, i think i would get pretty damn mad if id find out ive been replaced by my family and that my killer hasnt been punished.
Exactly what my fingers were itching to type. Under the Red Hood is one of my favourite comics (also my favourite superhero movie of all time). The line that struck me the most and broke my heart was, "Bruce, I forgive you for not saving me but why on God's earth is he (Joker) still alive?" Jason was a street kid with an addict mother and a small time crook father. He more than anyone understands that not everyone can be saved. It's this Joker issue that brings up the incredibly interesting Ideological conflict of the no killing rule. Jason is one of the few people who can stand in front of Bruce and say, "You're wrong. It doesn't work." It gets on my nerves when people miss the entire point of this character. Also why Arkham Knight sucks.
The thing about Jason stealing the tire off the Batmobile, is that it impressed Bruce; he created unique nuts & bolts specifically for the Batmobile, needing their own tools, yet somehow Jason *pulled it off* (pun intended).
Also Damien isn't the youngest Robin Although DC wants us to forget this but Dick became the youngest superhero EVER starting his career at age 8 the same age Bruce was when he's parents were killed which is one of the reasons why Bruce chose to adopt Dick
That's not the case in the new 52 timeline and I don't think they restored it in rebirth. Batman was active for around 10 years at the start of his new 52 stories and Damian was still fairly new. Since Dick is a full adult at that time I think he now started as robin when he was 12 or older. New 52 timeline batman is wierd because most of his stories are implied to still be canon unlike most of the other characters after that reboot. Him and green lantern both since they were still in the middle of very successful story arcs and DC decided those writers didn't have to stop thier story
@@jamesrosengrant8675 They did restore it in current continuity. [see Batman Rebirth and the current Nightwing run] In current canon Dick became robin at age 8, Damian at age 10, Jason 12 and Tim 13]
@@chinyereugwu9431 cool. I was glad new 52 didn't erase the batfamily, but it's new timeline made everything happen in way too small of a time frame. I'm glad rebirth has official restored batman to closer to a 20 year history verse a 10 year. I stopped reading batman after catwoman left him at the alter. I was really enjoying them together and I like seeing actual character growth, but status quo must go on. And all that "Rick Grason" stuff made me not enjoy reading my favorite hero since in my opinion one of the most important parts of nightwing is that he's friends with basically everyone in the hero community and that arc took that away
@@jamesrosengrant8675 the second half of rebirth was a dark time for the batfamily but nightwing is doing well now. He got a puppy, he is richer than Bruce, his relationship with his friends and family are great. He might even get married soon.
Sadly it's not just here. Many comic book writers keep making that mistake. Once 1 writer shows growth in Jason, another writer takes it away and starts him back at square one. He's past being the "angry Robin" already.
I like the fact that Cassandra & Jason are the same age. They’re twins in a way. I don’t like how ppl refuse to see his kids surpassing him. Whether that’s technology & detective (Tim) work. Leadership (Grayson) & work balance. Or even physically & (Cassandra & Jason) mentally. Ofc Damian is a bit too early to say. He has the most potential.
I feel it's less surpassing and just don't want Bruce taken away as Batman. If they did a 2099 (just putting a number there) comic with one as Batman would be different than replace in modern day.
@@JoybuzzerX Good point, I didn’t consider that but it makes sense. Bat fans NEED to relax cause most Grayson, Jason, Cass, and Tim fans don’t even want them to become Batman. DC is the one pushing this idea of making Batman a mantle. Imo I think Batwing (Luke) should eventually be the next Batman if they have to go that route. His dad works for Bruce and they live in Gotham. He has his older brother to count on and his dad has all the connections he needs. I would hate to see Cass take it tbh, she deserves a life where she can enjoy it. She’s been through a lot and being Batman won’t let live her life to the fullest. Same with her other siblings
@@nic558 Well, even Gordon said there was something off when Dick took on the mantle or that it felt like a different person. So, Cass wouldn't exactly hide that difference well :p
As a Red Hood super fan thank you for respecting him as a character for the most part I just wish you would have mentioned more of his training outside of what he learned from Batman putting him as one of the deadliest fighters in the DC universe (making the dual welding pistols kinda stupid but also a dope part if his character design and statement in his opposition to Batman's ideals) and also he doesn't hate Batman because he died he hates him because he didn't kill Joker Jason completely blames his death on himself and Joker
Okay thank you for saying it cause I was about to comment the same thing . People explaining Jason often times forget to mention that after his resurrection he , like Bruce , traveled the world mastering DEADLIER fighting styles/weaponry . How does this not make him one of the best batfamily combatants , people always say dick Damian and Cassandra but I'd argue that Jason should replace dick on that list , even if dicks beaten him before
@@amurr2530 Because Dick and Tim had gotten more of Batman’s mastered training as Robins, went back some time later to train the same way Bruce did as a Trio refresher, trains with and leads superhuman teams, been physically training since before he became Robin with his parents and could do fantastic things Jason wish he could pre-Robin and post so well that the court of owls chose him out of many kids, had more time with Bruce who Jason copied his training from to begin with so essentially that was Jason catching up, I can’t stand when people point out “Jason copied Bruce’s training method” like wha tf do you think Bruce has been teaching to Tim and Grayson for years?! Then point out Jason’s LoA training which Grayson also trained with as a kid for his Robin training before Jason was thought of but also can solo their best effortlessly like Bruce aka Ra’s as well at his own game. Why tf would you want a blatantly inferior fighter to be the best?? Makes zero sense. Grayson also solos superhumans regularly like Archeron and Blockbuster..
@@Gamfluent All of that is completely wrong and "Realistically" doesn't make sense in a world with Superman. Grayson was trained longer by Batman and as we've seen Batman > Ra's. Pretty sure Grayson was trained by a friend of Batman's who was a top fighter in the league so technically yk... Grayson has some LoA training too as Robin. If not, Batman's more intensive training for Grayson compared to Jason gives him the advantage anyway. Jason was trained for 5 years by the LoA, while Damian was trained since birth as a murderer and we've seen age and experience doesn't always matter so you're telling me Damian should be able to destroy Jason in a fight? Technically, he was trained since birth by the LoA so that's 10-12 years compared to Jason's maximum usual 5 to a few months. Damian was trained to only kill, show no mercy for his enemies and be the true HEIR to the League. This same league you're using as some sort of trophy training for Jason. @@hasnoname3781 I mean "raised by Batman" is pretty questionable for a couple of these. Damien spent more of his life with Talia/the League than he did with Bruce. He then spent quite a while with Dick while Bruce was "dead" so how much was he raised by Bruce really? Likewise Cas spent most of her life on the streets and before that with her father. She wasn't found by Bruce for quite a while and even after she was you could easily say she was raised by Barbara more than Bruce. Honestly I just consider it an over arching "Bat Family" kinda thing and anyone who was a Bat is one of Bruce's whether he officially adopted them or not. Which means I'm always upset that Steph is always left off lists like this. She has been a Bat longer than Damien (even if Bruce treated her like crap). Oh and Barbara totally deserved a mention too. Yeah sure, she had Jim but again, I still consider her one of the Bat Family and one of the most important and long standing (er...) ones at that.
Jason’s not mad that Bruce didn’t save him he accepts his own mistakes and knows he played into the Jokers hand. He hates Bruce because he thought after everything the Joker had done killing him would have been the last straw and Bruce would have killed him he was broken hearted that, that didn’t push Bruce to break his code
He didn’t even hate Bruce for it, Jason has the temper of a 14 year old and a lot of that may have to do with the trauma of his death, what’s gold about his character is it could be either the Lazarus pit and coming back from death that makes him that way or just his over all personality it’s up for interpretation, at the time Jason just wanted to prove a point to Bruce and even gave Bruce’s way a chance.

Pretty sure Terry has a brother known as Matt who like Terry, shares traits with Terry more than he does with his parents. Terry's parents are both redheads while he and his bro have black hair. When it is revealed in Justice League Unlimited that Terry is the Bat's son it could be possible that his brother also is a son of the Bat. Matt later takes up the mantle of Robin, though this only happens in a comic and wasn't shown in the show at all. So Matt could be the missing future son. Something that I assume Bruce wouldn't be aware of until too late.
Terry and Matt in the canon conics aren't related to Bruce. Not sure how you missed that since it was revealed in the same comic series where Matt becomes Robin. batman Beyond Rebirth.
@@chinyereugwu9431 I was explaining the characters in the show. I mentioned that Matt becomes Robin in the comic. At no point did I say that Matt in the comics is related to Bruce. Only mentioned that in the comic he becomes robin. In Epilogue it is revealed that Terry is related to Bruce Wayne and just looking at Matt makes it seem that he has more in common with Terry than either of His parents. Not sure how you missed that.
I really enjoyed this! It was very well researched and entertaining! Cass, Tim, and Dick's sections were dang near perfect, especially. Though I do have a two corrections. 7:14 Jason never blamed Bruce for not saving him. He knew Bruce was just human and couldn't save everyone and that he'd gone off on his own without backup. He was angry because Bruce didn't avenge him or learn his lesson about raising child soldiers. Heck, he didn't even hate Tim for "replacing" him as so many in the fandom think. He was determined there would be no more dead child soldiers and set out to FORCE Tim to quit, figuring if he hurt and traumatized him to get him to walk away at least he would be alive. 15:35 Damian was only the second youngest Robin at age 9/10. Dick was 8 when he created the mantle. Tim and Jason were both about 12 and Stephanie was around 15/16.
It stills surprises me how DC hasn't capitalize on Cassandra's character, she has soo much potential in everything. -Her physical design is great, she apparently is beautiful too, she has a sharp/edgy attitude, both girls and guys would love her. -She is a powerfull independetn woman on her own way -Her strenght and power is credible. She could be a money maker for DC, women would adore her and men would easily fall for such a cool girl.
I can tell you eactly why they don't use her. His name is Dan DiDio. He, with some help from others, screwed her entire character up. Didio also wanted to kill off Dick. Didio and Berganza are at fault for her villain arc, which just ruined her entire character for a while. Beechen wrote it, not much more, but he did apologize to Cass fans. Oh and she got back to being a racist stereotypes again, during that arc. Yay. And as soon as the New-52 hit Didio straight up forbid people from using her, with some support from other editors. The first time she was used again was in 2015, where she got beaten by Jason of all people, which is extremely out of character for her. Cause of course, the New-52 reboot made her a worse fighter. Also gave her that Orphan name, which I won't even get into. She finally got back to being herself in 2021. After Didio had been fired.
Tim is definitely the most underrated. Probably because they can’t seem to take him out of the repeated “I can’t be robin so I must become something else” storylines over and over while keeping him as a teen for the past few years
"I can't be another Robin so I'll just be a gay Robin". Sorry, still think it's ridiculous to make Tim bi. I'm actually more mad that Tim barely have story but when DC make a story about him after a looooong time, it's about him being gay. Nope!!!!

Best robin is the Tim, Most recognisable is Dick Grayson, Jason Todd is the most efficient robin, followed by Demian Wayne Cassandra is without a doubt better than everyone else if only count combat skills I'm waiting to see what's comes next for red hood/Jason Todd after Batman death in family movie (DC animated universe ) Also they should have Cassandra too since they have lady shiva in multiple animated movies
THANK YOU for making this video. As an old batman fan, even I get every robin confused. Comics and their love for resurrection and re-use of costume design can be a pain. I think Red Hood is my favorite robin. I think he filled a hole in the Batman story that was growing ever large- why does Batman care so much for the Joker? I enjoy how he was a subversion of Robin, being stubborn and strong rather than a plucky sidekick, and eventually came to be his own type of super hero.
The original (Earth-2) Batman.only had one Robin, who grew up to work on his own. Bruce married a reformed Catwoman (Selina Kyle) and had a daughter, Helena. After Bruce and Selina died, Helena took up the mantle of her parents, and became the Huntress. She has teamed up.from time to time with Robin and Power Girl, Superman's cousin (that's another story).
Additional additional Note: The beyond batsuit is mostly nanotech. (It's able to do anything the host thinks of. [Limited only by the thoughts of it's host.] The suit itself is generated by the activation of the nanotech that powers it. [The activators are built into the batmask/war-helmet.].)
I might be remembering this wrong, but Terry's brother is also Bruce's biological son. As for the father/son relationship between them, I think part of the reason there isn't one is because Bruce doesn't know. Last time I read one of the comics Terry knew but never told Bruce.
@@savageking2348 When people think about Damian, they think about when he was first introduced and not how far he has grown. I love all the Robins for the own unique stories and takes on life.
Terry wasn't confirmed as canon. DC has stated many times that ALL future timelines are only POTENTIALLY considered canon as they don't want to tie their writing staff down in such a confining manner.
They said he (Terry) was an Honorable mention And that’s why they said it because they knew he wasn’t technically a part of the main continuity as for Stephanie I don’t think Bruce Wayne officially adopted her duke Thomas I have no clue about
Steph and Duke have never been addressed as Bruce's kids and Bruce has never and parental responsibility for them. Steph ahs parents and Duke has parents and an uncle who has parental responsibility for him. Terry is canon to the main Universe. He was introduced in Batman 700 and has comics set in the main DC universe.
@@skeletor4436 That not true. In fact Duke they went out of their way to stress he has a strictly professional relationship with Bruce [see All Star Batman comic series and Batman and the Signal comic series for confirmation]
Terry was introduced into DC comics canon in Batman 700. He was rescued as a baby by an adult Damian Wayne who had taken over as Batman. He trained Terry and passed on the mantle of Batman to Terry. Terry Brother Matt also became Robin briefly but after he was nearly killed Dick Grayson [who was the Mayor of Gotham at the time] decided that it was finally time to retire the Robin mantle and stop endangering kids.
Dick: guys, I don’t think we should put kids in high tech combat suits and have them go out at night in one of the most dangerous cities to fight dangerous criminals and super villains Everyone: yeah that makes sense
My favorite of the bat family has to be Cassandra Cain and Damian. both are characters who, in spite of their upbringings, move past it. AND they still remember their past and hold onto it.
A few details missed in this video, nobody double checked their work. The summaries were great otherwise. Grayson was 9 but then later retconned as being 8 when his parents died, making him the youngest Robin. The original idea behind Grayson was he was suppose to be the same age as Bruce when Bruce lost his parents. The Beyond stories are not all in the tv show. There was a run of comics that started in 2011 and has been running off and on since. Lots of great stories; like Terry's younger brother becoming Robin, there being a new Batgirl who fights crime in the slums of Gotham, just to point out a couple of highlights without any real story spoilers. The only downside to the Beyond timeline, is they keep retconning certain characters and events because of things introduced in the main run of Batman or the DC Universe/Timeline. Like, Johnathan Kent is Superman of the Beyond Timeline and I do not recall that they ever gave a reason to get rid of Clark. Damian is the head of the League of Assassin's, and has an estranged relationship with Bruce. His costume is still similar to his Robin costume, and somewhere in the story they just forget that Raz was running things in Talia's body.
Quick thing but you are kind of wrong about the Beyond stuff. While they do share the same art style, Earth 12 isn't the same continuity as the DCAU, there are a lot of things that don't line up with the two. So stuff like a new batgirl and robin aren't in the DCAU, nor any of the Barbara cheating stuff.
@@nahte123456 Double checked to make sure I was not senile when reading the comics. In 2010, the Beyond run was to be connected to the mainstream DC comic Universe. That run was written by Adam Beechen with art by Ryan Benjamin. Beechen also confirmed this in interviews at the time and stated it merging them into one continuity also allowed more cameos into the (Beyond) story. Now the run may no longer tie into the comics, but it did at that time (or at least for the length of series 3 of the comics). Which is why there where retcons I remember to the Batman Beyond story referencing events happening in the main comic universe continuity at that time happened. It was suppose to be THE future of whatever happened in the main run of the universe (though it may no longer have been the case after series 3).
@@derekberthold9712 There's a video on RUclips that explains it better than I can here, "Earth-12 is NOT the DC Animated Universe" by Watchtower Database, but but it literally can not be the same continuity. Signal is not mentioned in this video I think his time at Wayne manor is worth mentioning. There's no mention of Batgirl. I know you said you weren't going to mention other Batman kids but Helena is worth mentioning.
I always liked how DC managed to pull off all these different Super families like Flash and Superman. And ESPECIALLY The Bat Family, in giving a loner like Bruce a supporting cast, not to mention it kinda reflecting how he lost everything so young but attained so much in his older years💯. And how they managed to pull off giving ALL of them their OWN personas and identities so they can start their OWN legacy🔥🔥🔥 Now if only Marvel would do even HALF of that for their Spider Related🤦♂️ characters
The way marvel mismanages it's spiderfamily to only be multiversal is super trash despite how much they can rival the batfamily. Batgirl Barbara Gordon kinda should have been on here. I'd love to see Batman' Black Bat and Damien as a team. Probably unstoppable. Adding Tim, Dick, Barbra and Jason they are near Justice League level.
I never knew black bat....in all the canon storylines its commissioner Gordon's daughter who became bat girl and eventually retired when the joker crossed a line that he had not crossed since Jason todd leaving Barbara Gordon a paraplegic, psychologically scarred for life but working as Batman's intelligence officer from the shadows going by the moniker Oracle. But black bat seems to be the best of Batman's children to succeed him. I personally think the Batman beyond story was scrapped from the canon history because of how poorly it was received compared to all the other Batman family members.
I wish there was special mention to Barbra, Stephanie, or even Duke, but I get it they have families of their own, and these 5 are the most closest to his actual children.
I'm fine without the others but he mentioned Oracle so I expected him to talk about Barbara Like, why did he leave her out if he mentioned what she became?
All of Batman's son's are parts of him. I feel like Dick got his skills/moral compass from Bruce, but Jason got his rage. Tim is definitely the logical side of Bruce and Damian is his ego, definitely more like the pompous Bruce Wayne but in Robin form. I love when Batfamily interacts and I do love how Dick and Jason are the older brothers, dealing with Tim and Damian from time to time in the comics. Dick's interactions in the comics with his younger bros is always great to see. Damian's not a little shit anymore, well not as bad as he once was. If they ever adapt a battle for the cowl, I will 10000% tune in or purchase it.
Strongest so far- he did beat Jason for the cowl. With that said, Damien has the potential to surpass all of them. Nightwing's still my favorite, though.
Dick was never adopted, he was Bruces "ward". Their relationship was never really a father and son type, they see each other more as older and younger brothers. Also, while Jason wasn't nearly the acrobat Dick was even Bruce himself said Jason's potential far outpaced Dick. After he was resurrected he became more ruthless and with the training of the various masters in the League of Shadows, League of Assassins and the All Caste it's safe to assume out of all the Robins he's the most highly trained. It's also alluded that Jason is slightly superhuman thanks to the power of the Lazarus pit he heals quick and his reflexes and strength have been shown to be able to even catch Kryptonians of guard. Oh he's also a little magical since the All Caste trained them in their mystical arts. Jason was the first Robin that was officially adopted too. edit; On paper at least, the writers love screwing him over every chance they get.
And let’s not forget that Terry put an end to to the Joker’s resurrection and saved Tim Drake from a nightmare that plagued more than half his lifetime.
Animated is so totally an alternate universe, it doesn't make sense to even include it since Tim wouldn't have even gotten to the point where he was Red Robin had he been Joker Jr. and had to quit.
My favorite of all of the Batman's children is and always will be the first one, the one from 1940: Robin Dick Grayson. You can't beat the original, and Dick is it. The main thing I don't like about him is his nickname. I'm a black man from the hood in St. Louis, Missouri. "Dick" has a connotation attached to it that I will never shake. If I actually met Mr. Grayson, I would seek to use another nickname for him, or even simply call him "Richard." That might be a hard sell, I know, but I would try. My second favorite of the Bat-kids is Robin/Red Robin Timothy Drake Wayne. I like that, although he has nothing like Dick Grayson's natural and almost freakish physical prowess, he outstrips Dick with detective skills that predated his debut as Robin. He was also the first Robin to meet and beat the Joker without the Bat and with his own plan, unless I'm just dead wrong. I've heard it said that no less that Ra's al Ghul has called Tim "detective," as he does the Batman himself. That's an accolade all its own! I'm going to give you a pass on Batgirl Barbara Gordon, as she could not truly be called one of the Batman's children. Nevertheless, she is and always will be my favorite Batgirl. I also find it interesting that Barbara seems to be well aware of her effects on the male population as well as the power of her old uniform. I remember seeing a story wherein Cassandra Cain wore that Batgirl outfit and proved to be about as effective as Barbara and the men who saw her in it. When returning to Barbara after that night out, Barbara said something to the effect of, "They loved you, didn't they?" I also liked the fact that it was revealed that she was Dick Grayson's first major crush. Lastly, I loved the fact that, although Batgirl was never Justice League, Barbara's later identity of "Oracle" was -- proving that Barbara's greatest weapons were the intelligence and deductive abilities that first made her Batgirl. She made more contributions as Oracle than as Batgirl. Indeed, were I writing her at the time that her legs were restored to her, I would have had her REMAIN as Oracle in recognition of those greater contributions! I would like to take an opportunity to recognize the greatest member of the Batman family: Alfred Thaddeus Crane Pennyworth. Alfred was the glue that held the family together and kept it from degenerating into chaos and abuse. I like to think that he was Bruce Wayne's second father from the very beginning -- indeed from the first second that Alfred learned that Mrs. Martha Kane Wayne was pregnant! I also like to think that Alfred was a regular visitor to the Wayne's older and brain-damaged son, Thomas Junior. I don't know it Tom, Jr. has been retconned out of the DCU, but I liked that he was introduced back in the 20th Century. One thing I would like to see is Tom returned (healthily) to the Wayne family, especially since Alfred is (at least for the present) dead. Of all of the Batman family, Alfred is my absolute favorite.
Idk why it just clicked but a Daughter for Bruce would be insanely interesting.. I mean like very early on.. year one Batman and he knocks up someone.. then he has a daughter in his later years but She don’t want to be no hero.. Like the DA. Dick is Batman's biggest success because he is his opposite: happy, caring and hopeful. Jason is Batman's second biggest failure (first is the Joker) because not only he's like him, but even more violent, to the point he killed a lot of people.
There was also a female robin from Batman Returns (or some other animated batman film) where batman kills joker and Superman tries to bring batman to justice. The whole mess caused Bruce to flee but the female Robin stayed with him. This doesn't seem canon but this female Robin was a 'good soldier', and I liked her spunk.

No. Superman and Shazam has the most wholesome family in the DC Universe.

True
It doesn't work."
It gets on my nerves when people miss the entire point of this character. Also why Arkham Knight sucks.

The thing about Jason stealing the tire off the Batmobile, is that it impressed Bruce; he created unique nuts & bolts specifically for the Batmobile, needing their own tools, yet somehow Jason *pulled it off* (pun intended).
Not even that, hasn't the Batmobile safety meassures (traps) that prevent that from happening.
@PSYMEDIC At the time that Jason stole the tires, the batmobile was going updating its defensive systems, so if it was offline
It also made Batman laugh
Also Damien isn't the youngest Robin
Although DC wants us to forget this but Dick became the youngest superhero EVER starting his career at age 8 the same age Bruce was when he's parents were killed which is one of the reasons why Bruce chose to adopt Dick
I was really enjoying them together and I like seeing actual character growth, but status quo must go on. Never knew someone could misunderstand jason's motive after literally almost all adaptations of his early career as redhood literally stating it
Sadly it's not just here. Many comic book writers keep making that mistake. Once 1 writer shows growth in Jason, another writer takes it away and starts him back at square one. He's past being the "angry Robin" already.
DC loves to screw up Jason as a character. Just look at Battle For The Cowl.

Recently watching Batman Beyond again, I realized that Terry's younger brother Matt is Bruce's son as well.
Robins stop after Damien. I refuse to acknowledge any other Robin after.
They also started calling themselves "Order of The Web"....which sounds kinda lame especially since Spider SOCIETY was already established and they can just become the NEW one
The "New" Edge of Spider-Verse even coming up looks like TRASH and I really couldn't care about ANY of the new spiders cause they have NOTHING going for them AT ALL. Marvel is just MILKING Spiderverse at this point and it isnt going well AT ALL
Batgirl Barbara Gordon kinda should have been on here. I'd love to see Batman' Black Bat and Damien as a team. Probably unstoppable. Adding Tim, Dick, Barbra and Jason they are near Justice League level.
Huntress is also one of Batman children from a different universe. I dont remember if they ever made it canon tho
The Jason Todd segment was incredibly inaccurate.
I wish there was special mention to Barbra, Stephanie, or even Duke, but I get it they have families of their own, and these 5 are the most closest to his actual children.
I'm fine without the others but he mentioned Oracle so I expected him to talk about Barbara
Like, why did he leave her out if he mentioned what she became?
he definitely should’ve mentioned duke because he is bruces ward but stephanie isnt bruces anything so i dont get why people want her in here tbh
@@pohcoyo well like it or not there is a place for her in this family, and Bruce fully confirms that.
Am I the only one who pauses these videos to read the comics?
6:51 he called Jason Jacob and it caught me off guard cause that’s my name 😂
You forgot the best Batman protege of them all: Jarro 🤗
Amazing video. I just started to get intrested in all of the robins. As well as DC again. Thank you for this.
If I remember correctly, didn't the current Batman comics confirm through Bruce himself that Dick was his strongest Bat-child?
That's not the best way Jason came back but I still love the video
I also prefer the reality punch. :D
The arguments and dynamic that would cause, She wants to put her own stamp on Justice. Batman having this conflict.. But the dynamic of Gordon and Bruce’s daughter the DA.. Damn that’s a cool concept
We all know Batman works alone if you don’t count Robin Red Robin red hood night wing batgirl bat woman spoiler black bat signal blue bird and a few more people
batman beyond is the best one for me they need to continue that story
Dick is Batman's biggest success because he is his opposite: happy, caring and hopeful.
Jason is Batman's second biggest failure (first is the Joker) because not only he's like him, but even more violent, to the point he killed a lot of people.
There was also a female robin from Batman Returns (or some other animated batman film) where batman kills joker and Superman tries to bring batman to justice. The whole mess caused Bruce to flee but the female Robin stayed with him. This doesn't seem canon but this female Robin was a 'good soldier', and I liked her spunk.
Damien has become my favorite
16:28 Got me off guard😂
You forgotten Terry’s brother who is also Bruce’s son
They always seem to gloss over that.
imagine Damian and Cassandra have a kid together? OP
Ew, no. Don't make her a groomer. He is a minor, she's about 20 years old (pre-52 older) when they first met.

One Child was Missing from the Honorable Mentions (18:15)... Helena Wayne😔
Dick is the most famous Robin. Hands down!
6:51 Who's Jacob
No Duke Thomas?
Duke wasn’t adopted by Bruce.
I love baby bird damian so f*cking much
Why does everyone always forget about Carrie Kelley? I know she isn’t part of the main universe, but still she should get a mention. I always loved her personality.
Because she was a trash creation from a trash story that deserves to be buried deep and never dug back up again to see the light and praise that in many terribly blind eyes, such as your own, is deserved.
@@Artryom But that's just your opinion dude.
Why the viscous tone though?
@@Moody-Boy You mean Vicious?
I'm 90% sure that viscous is the word you should use here lmaoo
To answer: I really don't like that useless trash character but tbh, it was uncalled for, influence from a 2hr deep horror movie I watched prior, the tone still stuck with me.
he literally said AT THE VERY BEGINING hes only talking about the robins from the main universe
She's not canon.
Damian Wayne isn't the last robin. U need to watch " Batman : The dark knight return " U'll see " Carrie Kelley " a girl who takeover the role of Robin when Bruce is getting old and in that episode batman finally kill Joker and fight Superman later because their differences point of view
Not canon in the main timeline. (Though neither is Terry)
Batman has only TWO sons, Terry McGinnis & his brother, and Batman has ONE daughter, Helena Kyle aka Huntress, the child he has with Catwoman, Selina Kyle
Terry brother is Matt i belive. He even became robin in the comic
batman beyond being based in 2019 is hilarious
