Couple of quick corrections on this video: 9:17 - The Depths content is being developed on **ArcCorp**, not Levski. 16:39 - I misheard Chris Roberts' closing announcement (at ruclips.net/video/WLLLtaM0Jf0/видео.html), which says "We've defined what Star Citizen 1.0 will be, and shown features such as base building and monster hunting that we'll be delivering the next 12-18 months." If you noticed anything else that's off let me know and I'll include it!
Awesome summary, Durg! One thing you missed that’s pretty big is that the Pioneer got ground resource extraction added through the landing gear to go with the refining it also received.
Tempted to do a self referral to snag both a 2nd referral bonus LTI token hoverquad and gift myself a CSV-SM from the alt account just in time going into IAE. One of these LTI tokens will probably be used as a basis in a CCU chain for the Hornet Ghost Mk II. The 2nd will depend on what else gets revealed during IAE. Grateful for your channel, perspectives and all your content 💯⚡🫡
"It's great, we just have to wait, what, only what ? 5-10 more years after 1.0 for aliens, empty systems, exploration, and settlers' gameplay? No problem, it's fine ! We can play 1.0 without this- even if it’s not exactly what we thought we were buying. I know 'promise' is a light word here, but that’s fine." ..... I'm just trying my best to capture the 'toxic positivity' of the Spectrum community, ok ! It's hard !"
Welcome back! I can't wait for base building my biggest concern is the security of my home base while I am logged out or away. I do not want to put hours of time, resource, and effort only to have someone come by and destroy or steal my stuff. What's your opinion on the new Starlancer Max and Tac? I am thinking the Max variant will be possibly replace the Taurus.
Thank you! I don't think bases in high security are going to face that kind of a threat - even if they have something more dangerous planned for them now, I think the demand for a casual place to keep a safe home is going to be too great for them to ignore, even if the idea is for everything else to be highly dangerous and transient. Not sure about the Starlancer yet. I feel like it's a different niche rather than a replacement, depending on what you're doing. Neither of their pilot-controlled firepower compete with the Constellations, and if you're purely hauling cargo there are already better options.
I actually had that a little wrong - I corrected it in the pinned comment above (?). He said "We've defined what Star Citizen 1.0 will be, and shown features such as base building and monster hunting that we'll be delivering the next 12-18 months." It's from here in the full broadcast: ruclips.net/video/WLLLtaM0Jf0/видео.html
I don’t see a point for base building when we have these massive sky scrapers we fly around in. It would be cool if we could just decorate them on the inside. Maybe change out storage for habitation or military use.
@@alexc9434 For all intents and purposes that's what we have now. I'm sure a lot of people will go for a nomadic lifestyle, but it sounds like there will be major benefits to being willing to settle for a while to gather resources.
I imagine a lot of people will only build temporary bases near resources they need that they abandon when that resource runs out. The rest of the benifit to the player base will be in exploration and pvp opportunites brought by base steuctures.
@@UniversityofStantonThey didnt find the problem yet tho? They just ran back to the studio and quickly recorded a playthrough there to post to YT asap. (Basically it worked fine on their own pc, but the presentation one failed for some reason) Then again, the authenticity is nice
Ahahahahah...we shall see. One thing I'm encouraged by though is how quickly new features have been flying out the door this year. There's been a decided change in pace and progress lately.
Yah, I was going to comment on your overwhelming negativity. But you briefly mentioned it. Which gives me hope you'll return to the objective and informational format that attracted me to your channel to begin with. ❤

Ooh thanks, I did miss that one! It really is a complete mobile base then.

Well, we've got at least three new ones nailed down for sure. Who knows if they'll surprise us with something!
Great video

Did I read that right at 6:14 minutes that dude has 4 Billion in UEC? Damn! Life goals! LOL!
9:00 Wait isn’t area 18 where we get the depths? Not Levski??!
Yeah that was Area18
Oh, whoops. Brain must've skipped a track on that one. Thanks!
Yeah, definitely Area18.
Really hoping you find the time for a new Component Loadout video, although I'm sure it'll all change again in the time it would take :D

The Depths wull be in Area 18, not Levski. The Leader armor archetype will also allow you to smuggle hamd weapons into restricted zones.
Nice vid
Chris Roberts said 12 to 22 months until v1.0 (Official release) ? I must have missed that part.

im confused, what was wrong with the squadron 42 gameplay
It crashed twice when they ran it live. Rich posted a fully working playthrough later that day on youtube after he found the problem.

Did you say CR said 1.0 in 12 to 22 month.
Are you sure he said month and not years❓

With the biomes shown I wonder if humans or natural disasters have an effect on the environment.

so we get it in our hands in 6 -10 yrs.
same old song and dance.
Ever hear of a BMM?
Damn, I hadn't noticed. I guess I got too busy with everything else they put in my hands this past year that they said they were going to.
