    Trombone solos could represent the Commendatore, in my mind

    I don't know if the clarinets bells up is something that Esa does because I've only seen it before in this orchestra but I absolutely love it.

      Mahler writes it in the part as a direction, but it's not always followed since it doesn't actually do much to the sound. It's for a visual effect.

    Beautiful trombone solos, really a powerful and "true to the score" voice for the Nature.. Who is the trombone player?

    Mahler cambio la forma de usar los bronces para siempre.Mahler changed the way to use bronzes, forever. Taking their colors and throwing them as clay to the lathe of the composition.

    Excellent so far. What, however, is that machine immediately in front of the conductor's stand? It looks like something from science fiction.

      Hello, that's a Jump camera (made by Google) that we used to film parts of the piece in 360-degrees and 3D.

    Overall a really good performance!
    Does someone agree that the first cymbal hit at 0:55 does sound too weak? That's not how a ff cymbal should sound.

  • @notaire2
    @notaire2 6 лет назад +1

    Lacks a little bit of powerfulness and decisiveness, which might have been more strongly expected by the composer.

    • @fabriziomonticelli2117

      I think the opposite, it's a very bold and fierce version in my opinion (and i like it, in particular the trombone solo)

    • @illyrialady

      I couldn't agree with you more, @notaire2. This is a really limp performance of Mahler's 3rd Symphony.
