From doing all the research, scripting, editing, voice overs and watching it over multiple times I can say I am exhausted. This video is my proudest and longest work and I managed to get it out right before the year ends LETS GOO.
I also got a bonus behind the scenes lore for those description readers, I went into this whole project accepting that it was gonna be demonetized because there's so much music and to my surprise, there was only 1. WTF? I used better call saul, unravel, hxh ost, rap songs, chinese songs and none of them triggered copyright, except 46:29 , originally it was stereo heart playing in the back and this 8 second snippet of the song demonetized the whole video.
I'm on vacation in Vietnam and the last 20 minutes plus some light fixes around the video has been done on some dogshit laptop + scuffed mouse and keyboard + the video is 2k resolution + i have 2500 items in my timelines + subpar internet yeah this thing was so slow and laggy (1 hour to render preview btw). That outro took me 4 days 💀

You remember how you were suffering against Azhdaha, because you didn't have Zhongli. You went to coop. Someone got Zhongli, but it was pretty useless without C2 and in fact, even that Zhongli user died. But you remember that the fight didn't end. Yeah. Someone was there. At the edge of the boss arena. Not giving a fuck about the boss. Yeah, it was her. Ganyu.

Dated response i know, but its likely due to fact its been a `long while` since i actually even touched the game in the first place. But i think the Doggo & Wind Dragon are still imprinted in my brain strongly.
When it comes to those two in particular, you actually have the ability to `dodge` attacks, in terms of `Childe` the Wanderering Terrorist bro-friend of everyone, he just basically gets loads of attacks he can dump on you. Even the Wind dragon could be chipped of its stun gauge even at a distance unlike most turd of `bosses` that tend to constantly teleport away and/or be outside of the map with not even a way to STUN them to get atleast a handful of seconds to climb on top and smack them to death.
Though to be honest, some of the `later ones` that do have stun gauges like the fking Ancient Mecha Worm that demands a heavy hitting claymore or geo nuker unit, i dont really call that a stun, i call that a forced mandate system to even be able to damage the trash-hole at all. Which then you have the Dendro-stasis cube that flips you off if you dont bring a dendro unit specifically to even be able to farm it at all, when even the geo-stasis cube atleast let you get away SOMEWHAT with not needing to follow its gimmick of breaking pillars to deal with it mostly, being able to tap it with range shots unlike some other elemental -cubes who are invulnerable over half the time until they stop spamming attack sequence loops and just get `tired` and vulnerable all of a sudden.
Though its likely because i didnt run head-long into max level content while being SIGNIFICANTLY GIMPED on any actual raw stats or proper team building, on my mostly bare-bones set of units that consisted usually of 2 or more 4 star units due to a lack of `extensive team builds`(which ironically usually ended up with one of my first 5 stars that wasnt the Curse-bait known as QiQi, the freaking Harbinger Childe himself).
Which for the Ice doggo, he aint like honkai impact 3rd`s aggressive boi that requires parrying attacks or depleting a gauge to BREAK dmg reducing armor gauges and what not. Even his most annoying attack, an AoE, he actually gives you a few seconds to run out of it to dodge (or for the master class, probably pop an elemental burst to i-frame it instead).
I never got a single archon unit Nahida, though i do have quite a few hiatuses under my belt due to never wanting to play the game that much and only came back once or twice to `kill time` and see if it got any better, It definitely did not, since ver 1.0 and up to Sumeru, the `overall general gameplay experience is still exactly the same bread & butter, some might point to minor fixes like stronghold boxes, but they dont solve the general damn problem of the game itself, which is too much of a hassle to list, unless anyone wants to SUFFER a essay likely 3 times longer (at minimum) whatever i post normally on these boredom rant posts.
I can't believe all this happened in just 1.0 to 1.6, it felt like 10 yrs 😂

As an early genshin player i can understand the pain of fighting childe with kaeya, lisa, amber and the traveller without the knowledge of artifacts, weapons, reactions, talents and wish system and i hate that new players would never get to experience the catastrophic whale splash

From the xiangling part all i can think on right now is "bro, the person who discovered that xiangling with an energy recharge sands and a bennett dealed more damage than anything at the time had to felt like god himself"

Technically if the global content creator just look at CN video they can just find it. National team literally created by CN player and they have the privilege to name it that way since 1.0. It's just that most far ahead player in global aren't really posting guide or video unlike CN player who just upload shitty video even if it's not get any views but at least CN get far ahead information about mechanic of the game.

The story hasn't moved a bit since like 1.5, biggest content update we got since then has been fighting beetles, and that was like 5 levels and it's over.
If people haven't figured it out yet: the devs made up to 2.4 and then got all moved to Star Rail while a B-team took over Genshin, that's why the direction of development has done a clean 180 from gameplay, exploration and story to minigames and episodic visual novel drama.

Tip: The Tartaglia boss has up to 70% resistance to electro and hydro. Additionally, if you use either of those elements aganist him, he will launch a strong retaliation attack against your active character.
You were using Fischl, Beidou, and Barbara in that fight. I'm not surprised you found it difficult.
Oh jeez, the secret troll card of `endgame` aka farming content at all: Multiple resistances for a game that is normally about MIXING ELEMENTS (which using Electro & Hydro elements are amongst some of the most common combinations with the former on energy generation & the latter being commonly used for healer units).
Gotta love the fact they also introduce an entire new element thats based specifally around mixing WITH three particular elements, namely capitalizing on the Electro & Hydro bonuses those dendro seeds they provided.
Throw in the fact it even has an extra boon of `additional actions` soon as you touch him with a static shock or drop of water, then its just Raging Demon cause you just looked at someone`s daughter with a glitter in your eye.
and i thought certain farming bosses being 100% immune to a specific element (the god damn electric bat) or bosses that are invulnerable to damage over 50% of the time with no ways to interact with them to stagger/stun/or-atleast-dodge them to put them in a slow time for effective attacking moments. Hell as mentioned in a different comment, God damn bosses that demand your team carry ONE specific element or mechanic to even be able to defeat the boss at all by making it literally impossible to defeat it at all without that one specific element.

that was my team too, Beidou, Barbara, Fischl and Xiangling. Had to hope for Childe stay still for at 1 sec to Gouba and Oz be able to hit him, while attacking with Barbara to keep everybody healed
That made me learn early on that you SHOULDN'T bring your enemy's element into the battle due to element res.
Then Raiden boss completely threw that off by REQUIRING you to have Electro for dodging the oneshot kill attack.
As a native german, Fischl's pronounciation buts me somewhere between crying and laughing till I wheeze on the floor
The fact there were no youtubers explaining anything like artifacts and stuff made this game a lot harder back then, one youtuber advice was "i highly advice you to level only two characters, i am leveling only my traveller and kaeya, so i don't waste resources on others because the limit we have on resources, so please focus on leveling only 2 characters my kaeya is now 40 and I'm alreadyout of resources so dont waste on other." yeah this was actually the best you could get as a tip back then. 😂
Thank god I started in Genshin's First Impact. The amount of Genshin Impact there was on the First Impact is insane, It feels like I was still in the First Impact of Genshin when I started Genshin Impact. If only the Apple in the Archipelago was Golden.

accidently got C1 trying for Bennett cons on Kazuha's first banner, little did I know that I made the best mistake in my Genshin experience.
Imo the first Lantern Rite reflected the world pretty well: East Asia at the time basically had one of, if not the most lifeless Lunar New Year in like decades. Not even in war time was it that bad, there were always some countries celebrating it big, especially China. Just to show how we were living through such a historic moment, albeit a dark one

At the time that I got cheated on, betrayed, verbally abused, genshin was my get away ticket. I joined the game just the day before Klee's banner in 1.0 and as I am currently watching the Version 1.1 chapter, it brought back a lot of memories when we were all pepegas. Thank you for bringing that memory back.

I really wish they kept the difficulty as high as it was for childe's boss fight. I remember when I first got to his phase 3 my jaw dropped because it took me so many attempts and days of farming to make an actual team - I was cooked so quickly.

This video is a treat. Experiencing this game for the first time and struggling in the early game, exploring Mondstadt, Dragonspine was peak, and then you stroll into Liyue and can spend literal hours climbing the dozens of mountains. It was an incredible time but I would not do it again.

People using Albedo to lift people out of the barrier vs the ice whopper flower was the funniest shit. Honestly I think the best time I had in genshin was doing coop in that event. I just kept doing it well after I didn't need to anymore. It was fun, idk. The game needs more fun coop stuff like that

Patch 1.x really was appropriate for the WFH experience. The good ol' days of setting daily farming routes for 1-star artifacts and enemy drops.
I was suspicious that the Zhongli fiasco wasn't even mentioned UNTIL the buffs 💀
I was an 1.0 player and the only thing I remember was that I knew shit
But I got through Childe with the power of Barbara but I don't remember if it was pre or post nerf
I also have so many event weapons stuck at R1 since I didn't know about refinement yet before the materials dissappeared
