Pro tip: Use metal thread inserts on your holes that will be used for the Mitee-bite clamps. They won't wear out like the aluminum will. As someone else mentioned, Machine the pocket for the Pitbull clamp according to Mitee-Bite dimensions. I use them by the dozens in my machine and they can last for years and do a great job but have to be used per the instructions.
Looks like the pockets for the Pitbull clamps are too big. They are supposed to be mounted against a shoulder from the backside and develop a lot more holding power that way
Hey thanks for the correction. I went back and checked and your totally right they are supposed to touch the back wall. I’m not sure how I missed that but thanks for the heads up. I haven’t had many clapping issues but I’m going to print a spacer and see if it helps.
