Please note that the same file with the same slicer settings was uploaded to my Ender 3 which has been running reliably for the past 3 years and it had no issues with volcanoing.
It is a gorgeous machine to look at. Especially with the filament closet under it. Too bad it has these issues. You would not expect it from a machine costing this much. It is very surprising. And i can not thank you enough for this review. Excellent info. Lets see how they handle your problems. That can make a lot of difference.
You are right that you are by no means a large RUclipsr... one video and one sub... but I sincerely appreciate that you made this video and it is going to go to very good use!
The layer also due to those really long bowden tubes, even with 2.85mm filament instead of 1.75mm.. I changed my z axis, rebuilt the thing twice, still its not layer lines it extrusion issues. Such a beautiful machine just doesn't produce the results expected
This is the absolute best and most accurate review of this pos. Our print success is about 3 fails to 1 success. If it’s not one thing it’s another. day 1 it probed and crashed into the build plate enough to deflect the bridge which set the a height below the glass. Their solution was to interrupt the probing process with a spacer. Still can’t trust this system. Worth 1.5k MAX. They will only take returns in the original packaging so buyer beware
No mesh leveling, so is that only on the sigma d25, or the w50, I know they introduced it. Also frustrated not being able to use other software with this machine, prusa slicer with paint to print that part with the other extruder is so much better than stratos.. Which is only tuned fit for bcn3d and its partners filament.. So much for opensource!
Layer issues caused by little nema14 overheating and the fact they don't have cooling on stepper drivers.. Tmc2130..you get lots of missed steps. Quite a few people have had issues with these, bcn3d removed their old forums where most of this was discussed. I've only got 480 hours 112 prints from my machine, I have 10 times that from cheaper units.. Its such a same as its got so much potential..
Just wanna give you my experience here. I moved from several Enders and Anycubics to Raise3D Printer and finally ended up now with 2 x Epsilon W50 and one W27. I had no issue in calibrating and printing overall. On the W27 I print PA12 and on the W50s mostly ABS. Great Printers overall.

what companies did the first 2 come from..? i have been looking at this printer or the w50 ..

thanks for the info. does it gets to 250mm/s? or whats the real speed?
