Thank you very much for such an excellent lesson on undercarriage inspection. Learned a lot. Totally would work with you if that is the level of integrity and honesty you give your machine users.

Would love if someone would explain why nobody puts doors or metal covers to seal up the track adjuster and other parts with windows that are cut into the track frame. 90% of the time that will fill up with mud, dirt, grease and whatever other hell the machine's been working in (landfills are a dream), and you'll be wasting time digging out the gear. Sometimes it fouls up the track adjuster and really makes a simple job hard.
Why not put a bolt-on or hinged door on those windows to keep the debris out? 1/4" steel, cut to size, drill some holes, maybe make some welds and you're saving money on labor for years.

Ejay years ago Poclain made u farm undercarriages. No dirt would build up on the frame. As the top of it was at a point. And if painted on burned oil it would slip right off. Great design. But that shit company called case IH bought them and made the crap.

Good video Jared! Did you know we at Mevas measure undercarriage of larger machines for wear determination? During a thorough inspection of a large tracked machine it is reasonable to take the values to know how much remaining life an undercarriage has. More info at ruclips.net/video/aRnhqRQNrM4/видео.html
