Had a try of the x30 and x50 at the weekend, really like the kit and this video has helped me make my mind up, can't wait to get out there and have a try, thanks
excellent review & update, I am still happy with my XS70, it has all i need in the pole, stiff & well balanced & an extensive set of top kits so will not be upgrading just yet, just need one of them new pole socks, many thanks
This new pole range looks excellent. I would love to see a review/feature on the new 16m Carp pole as I’ve just sold my Response Carp so keen to see this new carp pole in a review. With 90% of my fishing done on commercial fisheries and the carp getting bigger these strong poles are needed especially in the summer.
Thanks for not going into the "strawberry jam and sprinkles" marketing BS. I know from your previous that it is just not your style. I normally tune out when the tech terms get spouted, trying to encourage excitement. I want to go the tackle shop / trade show to "feel" the pole / rod / item, not to be buried in jargon.
Sorry to bother you Joe but have you seen the comment I left on des shipps ultimate pole sock vid? I think it's a great idea. Also Joe as you give such great tips I'd like to give one to you and your subscibers. In Aldis where the veg section is lol they sell veg bags for 25p with a draw chord they are blinding pellet setters that you can leave in the bag, reusable time and time again and also can be used for keeping maggots in they are also white which reflect heat with good air circulation and machine washable 25p each !!
No Joe lol. I made a suggestion to really make an ultimate pole sock by putting a ➕ at the front of it so you would have 4 sections for your break down sections not touching. That all.👍
Hi Joe, When would you use a short no3 over a long no3. I know a short 3 makes the pole stiffer, but is it only suitable for f1s or could it be used for medium sized carp as well, say upto 7 lbs. Thanks Jay........
Hi Joe, In you opinion what is the genuine difference between the X50 & the X70 as I’m look to to buy either the X50 or X70 but if the difference is minimal i will plum for the X50. Look forward to your feedback Mate
I think there is 3 types of pole buyer. The £300 buyer . The £1000 buyer and the flagship £3000 + buyer. I think this is a hard sell but it's nice to see an honest no bulls**t opinion👍
Hi Joe, I have actually had x70 on order for just over a month now, but I have recently been hearing some horror stories about the x range and breakages so that’s why I’m asking you rather than believing everything you hear and read, so basically my question is … are you seeing more breakages than normal in this range and how much longer do you think my wait will be ?? Thanks Joe. Love all your vids mate so keep them coming. Cheers Keith.
Well I asked one of their top sponsored anglers he refused to comment ,and I've been told that their number one angler said the same , biggest mistake I made buying one
I’m looking for a new pole, but not sure on the superium carp , the x50, x 70. I only fish commercial mostly opens but have a few pleasure pegs I’d need to fish at 16/17 meters for carp up to 6/7/8. What’s your thoughts please
Hi Joe, love got the x70 and I agree it is a lovely piece of kit. Which joint aligners would you recommend, especially for the no3 section as it’s the one with most use.
What pole do you recommend for under a grand because I need to fish at 13m and sometimes at 14.5 m as I’m only young and want to upgrade from a margin pole anything would help
Joe, if all the top kits are the same across the board surely these must be budgeted in the mid price bracket to make them cost effective? By this I mean, you wouldn’t use the best, most expensive carbon on the top kits on your budget pole and likewise you wouldn’t use the cheapest, budget top kits on the X90 so presumably there is a happy medium? If this is the case, could the X70/90 not have been even better with top quality top kits albeit it would of made them more expensive?
They are coming in all of the time. But they sell very quickly. Just keep your eyes peeled. Leigh Tackle is always a good one to keep an eye on as he is very proactive with stock
hi joe great channel and vids keep up the good work, would you mind if i asked you a question about the monster side tray, the double one,do you know if i can get a fitting so i can attatch it to a 36mm leg, thanks for your time.
Great review. I think you said the mini butt supplied fits the 13m, 14.5m and 16m sections. Does that mean it packs away into 3 sections (I think the XS packed away into 2?). How much are X70 no 3 sections, I’d need a couple.

This is why the X10 and X20 will be so popular as many anglers don't need 16m. But as with anything in life you get what you pay for 👍 Let me ask around see who will stock them over your way 👍
Good stuff Joe - the X70 is about my price mark if I was looking at anything new, although the amount of fishing I get to do now I think the wife would kill me if I suggested it! I also think you're right with the dolly butts, my Response Carp is a little over 4 years old now and the two smaller ones have never been out of the plastic.
Good video Joe just one thing can you tell me is the cupping kit made specific for pole and is it the same length as top kits? Don't like the spot on cupping kit its too short and more of a universal cup kit.
The X70 and X90 are very similar at 13m stiffness wise. It's when you go longer the X90 gets better and better. The X70 is a significant upgrade on the M70!

I didn't I had a tournament pro
